The Big 30! This was the cake I made for my son's milestone birthday. He was living at the beach at the time and I thought it would be perfect for his birthday. It was all edible except for the candles and the bubbles. I used modeling chocolate and hand made all the little sea creatures. I was really pleased how it turned out.

Pulling in to one of our favorite places. Bayou Joes. It's small and secluded. You sit under a covered deck surrounded by water and boats. Occasionally a boat will pull up and the people will get out right to their table. How awesome is that? Today the breeze is just right.

Genes breakfast. The crabstacker.... lump crab meat, andouille sausage and shrimp on a seasoned grit cake. Absolutely wonderful! 2 forks up!!
