His cruel flicker of an expression isn't lost on Spirit, but her reaction to it is - twisted. Fucked up. it sends a little thrill through her, the insinuation that he is capable of terrible things, that he has a visceral reaction to what he says.

"I don't care whether you appreciate it or not. I'm going to say something when I know somebody is full of shit."

A ghost of a smile settles on his lips. It isn't a friendly and welcoming and warm kind of smile. It's taunting, contemptuous of Spirit's existence.

"Who died and made you the judge?" A rhetorical question. He continues, "Everybody's full of shit, Spirit. Everybody. You included. Should I call you out too? How'd that make you feel?"

The same thrill that runs through her finds its way to him, bolts through him like a lighting, awakens something. Lucas can't put a name on it. It kind of makes him horny.
