I roleplay based in a specific Batman universe. I do apply some mixed media canons to make better sense of interactions, or flesh out Harley’s headcanons. But for the most part, it’s strongly based off of The Batman series, which ran from 2004-2008.

No Jarley hate. Hate in general gets you blocked, but especially this. I am a fan of the original take on Harley, and how the Joker is a fundamental part of the character's creation. I understand people disliking the ship, it's not meant to be truly romantic. But please don't bash on me for appreciating it.

Obviously no god modding. Please do not take over my character when we roleplay. You do that and I don’t have any reason to be there. Let me control my own character, especially in fight scenes, thank you.

All romantic relationships are in separate universes unless specifically said otherwise. It's how I've always run my blogs and I intend to keep it that way.

I have no problem making thread from asks. Either reply so I can make another post, or transfer it to new post yourself for easy thread trimming.

I ship by chemistry. If our muses really seem to mesh well I am more than happy to let them progress to a couple. Just keep in mind; Harley’s sexual advances do not always indicate romance! She is a very thirsty and generally awful person, so. There's a decent chance it's just for kicks. Feel free to reach out OOC if you have questions or want tot plot a ship.

Do not nag for replies. Because when people tag me in a reply within 24 hours, I just feel pressured and it honestly makes me basically drop the thread. Please wait at least 3 days before asking about a response. If I don’t answer in a day, that doesn’t mean I haven’t seen your response. I may simply not have the muse for it, or I may be busy that day. I have a life outside this website.

Shipping harley x joker in the 2004 AU is stupid as fuck especially when they say “the only good AU” just because he acts “kind” to her and doesn’t commit physical abuse. Even though it was stated that he is literally only acting kind enough because he is in a consistent state of grooming her to do his bidding and regifts that affection whenever she starts to get out of his control and realize he would easily leave her for dead if it meant saving himself or possibly even the bat if it was another villain threatening to kill him since he both wants the bat dead and their fight to be eternal at the same time.

I get what you are saying, and it’s ok if you don’t personally agree with the ship, I mean at the end of the day he did have ulterior motives, with Harley. She was already in a vulnerable place, and he said it himself “someone should take advantage of that.” He made her into the image he wanted. He made her into a criminal. And yeah, it gets frustrating when people call it “the only good AU” because “he’s not physically abusive to her.”

He yanked her back, he didn’t ask her to get back in her seat he yanked her. So yea that was the only time that I disagreed with the way he treated her. Tho I could also argue that she tried to talk some sense into him, right after he did that. Saying that they can rob the bank themselves, without Slackers help. which didn’t work cuz he wasn’t in the mood. I headcanon when they were driving back to their hideout he apologized to her for doing that to her. And they made up because no where in the episode does he lay his hand on her again. Though he did yell at her later in the episode to “hit the gas” when he was scared shitless of Joker 2.0 going after his ass.
