Hi, My name's Sara. I'm 26 years old. I got married on October 29th 2010. This is my blog on how I started trying to lose weight for my wedding and be over all more healthy. I'm a picky eater, always have been always will be. I do try things at least once... most of the time. I don't eat meat on the bone it really grosses me out. I take all the pictures myself.

Have you heard about gmos? Genetically modified organisms. If you haven't heard about them yet make yourself aware! My blog is about being healthy and healthy eating and gmos are very unhealthy and dangerous! They are in almost all of the processed food you eat, you know that bad stuff! Some food is labeled no gmo, that is the food you should be buying. I'm going to be posting a lot more about gmos so get ready and make a change for the better! No more Gmos!

Have you tried these? They are one of my favorite little snacks that help me through my chocolate cravings I get everyday while pregnant. They are small but only 90 calories and hit the spot and bonus they have FIBER!

Omg, the Apple Crisp the newest love of my life! The perfect apple if you ask me: the size, the taste, the TEXTURE... Perfect! :) I even got my brother excited about them and he's the unhealthiest person I know. It's a pitty though that they are so expensive... Atleast where I live :(

Yes! Someone else who is excited about the Honey crisp!!! I bought 4 yesterday and they were $2.99 a lb :-( they are a bit expensive. Thanks for the share!

Have you heard or tried the new apple called Honey Crisp? I had never heard of this type of apple before and after trying one told my husband how amazing it tasted! I then read an article in Healthy living magazine about the honey crisp apple and how popular they are becoming. I can now find them in at least three different stores around me, I suggest them to anyone who loves apples down to the people who don't. Let me know what you guys think!

Hello Ladies and Gents!

I know I haven't posted in about 9 months and I am so sorry to all my followers!

As you know I am married and what usually comes after marriage? That's right a baby!

I was pregnant last October but lost the baby at 7 weeks and it was very hard on me. My body struggled to get back to normal and I was very depressed. I am now happy to announce that I am pregnant again! I'm actually 29 weeks and 2 days, in my 7th month :-) and we have a healthy little girl on the way,  due Jan 6th.

Being pregnant is a mental mind f*ck on someone who has struggled with their weight and was at a happy place.  I see the numbers going up and up and it's hard I have to say. I wouldn't change it for anything in the world tho. 

I weigh myself every week on Sunday. Right now at 29 weeks I weigh 169.8 with a total weight gain of 17.8 pounds. That is on the lower scale from everything I read but I'm fine with it. I eat the same way as I did before but I have to say my weakness is wanting dessert every night! I try to keep the calories low when I do have dessert because it's not necessary. I still walk and have been doing arm exercises.  

One thing that is weird is how much of a distorted image of myself I had. During the first 20 weeks I didn't think I looked much different then I did before and I felt offended when my MIL would say "your really showing!" I looked in the mirror and saw the same girl maybe a little more of a stomach. But now looking at old pictures I can see that I really wasn't as big as I thought I was. So I'm going to try and not be so hard on myself from here on out.

I want to live a healthy life style for myself, my husband, and my little girl. I want to be a good role model and make healthy choices so she will make healthy choices later in life. I want to be around for a long time so I can see her grow up and everything that comes with it! So here's to being healthy for the rest of my life!
