Day of shooting #4

Spring is coming. Buds start appearing on the trees and you can look at the first flowers through the grass. We could feel the new season while we were shooting on our last day at the Woodlands Community Garden.

Day of shooting #3

We have just finished shooting for today. It was a windy day but there was the sunshine to warm us up. We took interesting shots, especially of the volunteers working in the garden. We also interviewed Ester, Tiziano and other people about the reasons why they keep returning to the garden.

Day of shooting #2

Today me and my crew we came back to the garden for additional shooting. We interviewed Dee, a volunteer, and Vicki, a manager of the garden. It has been a productive day with great shots and interviews.

Day #1 is over. We are cooled and tired but we have taken very good shots today. Here below a glimpse of what we filmed.

Day of shooting #1

Today, me and my crew (which includes the experienced producer David Brown and Sukanya Mathur) will start filming at the Woodlands Community Garden. Altough the weather is terrible, we hope to get a few good shoots. This time, we would like to film the landscape in and around the garden. The next week we will make some interviews to the volunteers of the community.

The Hidden Eden is a film project developed by the director and producer Massimiliano Milic about the Woodlands Community Garden in the West End of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Here below is the synopsis of the film that will be shot in Winter 2015:

Hidden in the congested West End of Glasgow there is aplace where a small community of people grows vegetables and flowers: theWoodlands Community Garden. This garden is not only a place for growing plantsbut also a peaceful spot where people embrace memories, escape from the urban stress and share work skills.
