✨ The Hollow Archive Discord is now open ✨
Friends and Folk!
The doors to the Archive have creaked open just a little wider.
We now have an official Discord server for The Hollow Archive!
Whether you're curious about the podcast, want to chat with fellow early birds, or just feel like swapping eerie stories and uncanny dreams, you're warmly invited to join us.
Right now, the server is a little barebones. A library with very empty shelves if you will...but I have big plans as this grows.
Come say hi, introduce yourself, and help shape what this strange little corner of the internet becomes.
🔗 Enter the Archive
Come in, but mind the rules. The Archive listens.
With a curious delighted heart, E. K. Fenwick
Hello Friends and Folk,
I am utterly bewildered and delighted by the number of auditions I received for Episode One of The Hollow Archive. When I first floated this strange little podcast idea into the world, I truly didn’t expect more than maybe... ten people to show up. Instead, I’m still reeling at the over 60+ auditions waiting for me to take a listen (in the best way possible).
Auditions officially closed today, and I’ll be making casting decisions for Episode One by the end of the month. Thank you all for your patience while I listen through the magic you sent in.
In the meantime, I have something else to open up to you.
I’m planning a few mini trailers and bits of bonus content—whispers, rhymes, eerie moments between the static—and I want your voices to help bring them to life.
As a small thank you to everyone who auditioned (whether or not you end up in the episode), I’d love to include you in these extra pieces. Think: one-liners, strange chants, distant echoes in the dark. If you’re open to it, I’ll be sending out a link to some short snippets with a few options to choose from.
More details soon. For now, thank you. Thank you for believing in this weird, haunted story. The Archive has begun to open, and it’s better with you in it.
With gratitude and creeping curiosity,
E. K. Fenwick

ONE WEEK LEFT UNTIL AUDITIONS CLOSE!
21 HOURS LEFT UNTIL AUDITIONS FOR EPISODE ONE CLOSE!!!
Out of curiosity, where are the archives based? I'd love to audition but my accent isn't American or RP British though I can do both so I wanted to check which vibe you're going for
Hello Friend!
So, truth be told, this is a question I am still (even at this stage!) not firm on! Since the pilot episode doesn't mention it directly, it's definitely been a detail that I have handwaved.
Currently, the idea is for the Archive to be based in Massachusetts, though I've also thought of it being based in Florida or Washington. or some in a random no-name town in god knows where. However, because of the...rather flexible nature of the Archives (and truthfully, the still hazy details of some character details suc'h'm as family background) I am open to any and all accents!
So please have fun with it! Test a few out even and see what feels right! If this pilot grows into what I want it to be...well even if you're not selected this time there is a plethora of character who will need voices!
I'm excited for your audition!

Observations
A work of art, its patterns shifting slightly as you look at it from different angles . When you put it on your head the world outside becomes strangely muted. Voices get farther away, colors fade, time slows. Those who wear it say they feel an overwhelming sense of separation, not just from the world around them but from themselves. As if they are watching their own body from a step removed. It doesn’t make you invisible but people seem to glance past you as if you’re not fully there. Doesn’t collect dust or age. Prolonged use leaves you with an eerie feeling of absence, and long term dissociation.
Additional Notes
Veil’s effects may vary based on the wearer’s state of mind. Attempts to alter the veil fail, as its threads reweave overnight.

The archives will be opening soon

[Alt text: March --,----
I don't know how long I've been here today. The clock says one thing, but my body insists it's been hours, maybe days. Time has always been slippery in this place, but now it's becoming outright cruel. I feel like I'm being watched—not just by the Archive, but by something else. Something I can't quite explain.]
Extinguished, but never gone.
He is still watching
There are stories that linger. Whispers in the dark, pages that turn when no one is looking. Some say the Archive is just a collection of forgotten folklore. Others know better.
The Hollow Archive is waiting… and it never forgets.
