"...Why are you in my bed?"
"… What?” Jack groggily turned, trying to open his eyes and was laying right next to…
“Gramps?! Fuck. This is, ah…” He backed away, almost falling out of bed. “I must have fallen asleep. Do you, uh, do you have to lay so close? Why are you cuddling me?”
"Hell if I know, Stabs... You're the one sleeping in my bed."  Jack untangled himself from the other man and frowned.  "I'll have you know, cuddling is a two-way street, mister.  You certainly didn't seem to be trying to push me away...."  He paused.  "Wait, if you're here, then where in the hell is Bob?"

Pre-Axis, Jack always had a penchant for writing in green ink. Â It began when he was a child when his father bought him a bottle of green ink to refill a pen cartridge with by mistake. Â

Jack opened the door to see his older counterpart standing in the rain. He rolled his eyes and sighed. “Gramps? For the, uh, for the last time — I am not playing Tetris in the rain.”
“Pac-Man,” he repeated, clicking his tongue against the roof od his mouth and tilting his head to the side just slightly. “Right, ah… Still no.”
"Aw, come on, I was gonna have Bob dress up as a ghost and everything! Â I even picked up fifty boxes of vanilla wafers to use as the dots....." Â He folded his arms. Â "You're no fun, Stabs."
It wasn’t the first time he’d been threatened like that. He was used to it. For years now, he’d walked a thin line with Jack after the accident at Axis. Hell, by all accounts he should be gone. He should have died when the other shot him, but he survived and here they were.Â
He stood still, eyes following Jack as he strode to the couch and gave an order. Bob was being pushed to his breaking point tonight. There was only so much he could take, and Jack was pushing past that. After a moment of just staring, trying to calm his anger, he moved for the kitchen and grabbed one of Jack’s tubs of cheese balls.Â
He tossed the tub at Jack on the couch. “Eat up.” He lingered for a moment before he stepped away, heading for the bedroom.Â
Jack blinked, then blinked again, watching Bob walk away.  "The hell's your problem, Bob-o?  You don't have to be such a whiny little bitch about a tub of cheese balls."  He unscrewed the lid and shoved a handful in his mouth.  Why was Bob being such a drama queen?

"Tetris? Â Why would you want to play Tetris in the rain?" Â He paused for a moment, his smile widening. Â "I was going to suggest Pac-Man."

Jack rolled his eyes. “Temper, temper. I stabbed you, Gramps. Stabbed. And, uh, and I probably missed most of your vital organs. Maybe.”Â
He knelt down towards the other, surveying the wound he’d inflicted and the blood loss before dark eyes flickered back up to the other Joker’s face. He drew in a deep breath, clenching his jaw before he exhaled and smacked his scarred lips together. “Good choice. Now, ah, now I’d play nice. I can leave you behind and let you bleed to death still. Are we clear?” His eyes narrowed as he offered a purple-gloved hand to the other.
Oh, so the youngster wanted to play hardball, did he? Â Well, Jack could play hardball too, just wait until...
Damnit. Â Who was he kidding? Â It was either play the kid's games or wind up dead in the street from blood loss. Â Carefully, hoping the movement wouldn't cause him too much pain, he reached up and took the other man's hand.
"If... Â If nothing else, Stabs McGee, you've sure got yourself a nice pair of gloves...."
Long Day — Allie and Joker
It was like a bad, annoying dream that he just couldn’t wake up from. It kept getting worse and the feeling of dread just kept increasing. How did he get himself into these situations? It had to be some sort of a hidden talent or gift that he had.Â
He watched, in shocked, silent horror as a group of pedestrians almost became hood ornaments and the crazy clown continued to drive the car. He wondered where the hell Wayne was on a day like today. Though, he supposed the billionaire wasn’t about to worry too much about saving his worthless life. Still, there were quite a few possible casualties adding up here.Â
Finally, his attention turned back to the Joker and he couldn’t quite hold back the snark that spewed from his mouth, eyebrows raised. “Tense? Me? Do I? Oh, gee, well… I don’t know. Maybe it’s because you’re trying to kill us both! You know, just a thought.”
There was a squealing of tires as the Joker barely managed to successfully pull his Buick into the space between two other cars on the street in front of a high rise.
"Shoooosh." Â One purple-gloved hand rose and began patting the other man's face. Â "Shhhhhhhh....." Â Pat, pat, pat. Â "You're okay.... Â Shhhhh...." Â Pat pat. Â
"And besides, Knoxie....  You don't have to freak out anymore because look where we are!"  He made a very theatrical gesture, flinging both arms out wide.  "Main Street, Knoxie!  Oh, man, I love Main Street, I first found Bob in that alley over there...  This is where that parade was....  And then stupid Batman stole my balloons because he's a party-pooper...."

Jack had been about to walk away and leave badly dressed grandpa here bleeding in the streets. That is until he heard the voice and turned around, dark eyes glaring down at the other. His jaw clenched and he worried at his scars, watching as the other man attempted to get up and failed miserably.Â
He sucked his bottom lip in and let it go with an audible pop, sighing as his eyes zeroed in on the almost comically large gun. He might have appreciated it if grandpa here hadn’t pissed him off. “Mmm… Nice. Y’know, I bet it does, but, ah, but I always find guns aren’t as fun or, uh, or personal as, like, a knife or-ha…” he trailed off for a moment. “Or a potato peeler. As for a reason? I might have one. How about this, hm? You’re bleeding, badly, and I don’t see anyone else around. Play nice and, uh, and maybe I might help you.”
"Help me? Â You... Â You fucking shot me, and you think I'm just going... Â Going to...." Â Fuck, that hurt. Â He made a mental note to try to breathe less.
"Fine," he hissed through gritted teeth, letting the gun drop to the ground for the moment.  He didn't seem to have much of a choice in this matter, all of the sudden-- he was far too good-looking to die.  And even if he was going to kick the bucket, he wasn't going to do it without saying goodbye to Bob first.
