What happens when one of the Chaotix gets sick. And have any of them ever had an infection (that second question was because I just got diagnosed with pneumonia caused by being sick, and in October I had an ear infection in both ears)

aaand sECOND ive alwayyyys had headcanons about one or two of the chaotix members under the weather hohohoohoohohoooo

charmys an immediate settle-down for the whole agency, i like to think. when the kids all sneezy and congested, they can still work out a simple case or two if its not a slow week! espio and vector try to make sure the kid stays hydrated during then and they probably let him just wear off the cold with some rest. fever or vomiting, tho? oh. ohhh no they are TAKING that pause off detective work to make sure charmys okay, because while i wholeheartedly believe the sonic universe has better healthcare than the real world, i wouldnt put the chaotix past the 'unable to afford medical treatment' bill. thats leaving them with a horribly sick kid, an empty medicine cabinet and nothing left to properly offer except home remedies from espio and some TLC. also they stay with him until he's better and vector makes sure he puts a wet cloth on charmy's forehead before bed for aforementioned fever. no i am not biased frm the chaotix sickfics i read what could you possibly be talking abou

ESPIOOO now for espio im honestly guessing he tries to hide every trace of his symptoms that could POSSIBLY elude to him being *gasp* sick . his constant maintenance of the unassailable image he paints himself as, along with his pretty low sense of self-worth, defintely draws a conclusion that he'd despisee the thought of showing an ounce of vulnerability, even when its through something as meager as a common cold. so he puts in a little more energy for keeping his scale colours a healthy magenta instead of the alternative dull pallor that hides under, he quietly dissapears into the agency's bathroom to blow his nose, and goes about his disciplined routine just fine . but to me, i dont think vector would buy it for longer than a day. that chameleons getting OFF case work and ONTO the couch blankets where he can get some proper rest the moment vector catches on. and charmy likely gets sick immediately after from clinging onto him despite the protests from both parties

i dont even think vector himself would notice he was sick until his temperature somehow spiked above 40 degrees celcius. to him, he rarely slips under the weather. he's the head honcho, a hard-boiled gumshoe thats got other priorities to take care of .. but alas, i do think he takes care of himself when the illness exhausts him and makes sure his boys know about the cold so they dont catch it.

Also, Charmy is just so ready to trash talk and/or fight people older and way bigger than him. He does it to Vector after the fight with Team Rose, he is ready to fight Eggman in Robot Storm and at the end, and he even insults the metal dragon monster

personal thoughts, i think charmy miiiightve gotten his spontaneous badmouthing from vector. there is NO way he doesnt absorb every new insult in his mind from vector as he's shouting over the streets in gridlocks, or any other place really. also brings nother headcanon that vector now has to be reaally careful with his language choices because hes learned the kid CANNOT be deterred from repeating whatever obscenities that might slip from him No Matter What.

which i think overall cues charmy to openly express his feelings abt what he sees, for better or for worse phrasing-wise .. . and yES i do think he has a respect-is-earned mindset when talking with grownups. little bee is not afraid to square up with adults quadruple his size and WIN.

Funny thing I just realized, in Sonic Heroes when you play through Team Chaotix’s story then at the end you get the credits which plays the cutscenes of their story while their theme plays. So the line “They’re gonna kick your,” plays as Charmy stings Eggman.

So, in Sonic Heroes’ last story, when Team Chaotix fight Metal Madness, Charmy calls Metal Madness an Incomplete Freak. He is very brave to insult someone who is over ten times bigger than him and who needed the chaos emeralds to defeat. Also Vector is the one who talks about what Knuckles can do in the fight, with Rouge being the person for Tails and Amy being the person for Sonic.

charmy has uncountable moments where he does . incomprehensible stunts like an act where you cant tell if its out of extreme bravery or extreme stupidity or most likely both and THIS was one of them yup .. funniest part is that they DO defeat Metal Madness in the end

charmy has been shown to have violent tendencies in shadow the hedgehog (telling shadow to bomb and shoot things and begging to use a turret and also telling blaze to light him on fire hes just that awesome like give the kid a gun why not shadows probably had to babysit him before give charmy a gun
