I have been looking for this post for a while! This is how I imagine Griffin would actually look like :)Ā
Take a moment to aprisiate my boi. His name is Alpachino. Alpachino is a special boi. He has eyelashes only on one of his eyes. He recently got washed and became THICK but I still love him for who he is.
Alpachino enjoys the outdoors. He likes to feel cute sometimes. His smile always brights up my day.
He is my dork, I love him, I love my BOI

Things to like about Jack Griffin
1) The is most likely very handsome. Since he was able to cause chaos and take possession of people with ease, he must be pretty fit. But most importantly, he is albino and that is just beautiful.Ā
2) A man with attitude. Honestly, Jack was annoyed into becoming a villain by the town people. If people were straight up invading him privacy, Iād consider murder. His attitude does create a couple of funny interaction. Potential tsundere? I weāll see...weāll see...
3) Puts a lot of trust in his friends. Itās adorable how much he believed that Kemp will help him out and then just getting betrayed every time.
4) Passionate about his work. He explains the concepts of invisibility to Kemp in such great detail. He wanted to become invisible in the first place because he was perfect for it, to explore all the advantages that it can offer. He soon realized it is not as fun...Ā
5) Has a soft spot. As much as I donāt like the movie adaptation, I would still consider this point. His demeanor changes significantly when he is around Flora, he is so sweet. He just wanted to become famous and get enough money from them to be a happy couple. So yeah, totally some soft spot potential.Ā

Are you sure itās a novel and not a some kind of fanfiction I am reading? They seam to be close friends.Ā
What makes me angry every time is how in movie adaptations, again and again, he hasĀ black hair.Ā It is a huge, very important plot detail that he is albino because that was the reason he could become invisible in the first place. I believe this to be a more accurate representation of how he would look like.Ā Ā
The Invisible Man deserves better!
I have recently stumbled upon this book by H. G. Wells. While reading it, I felt so sympathetic towards the main character, Jack Griffin. He experienced unfortunate events and was treated badly as a creep in bandages. Not to mention constant search for food, shelter and dealing with all the people around. Lets be honest, Griffin is such a mood. Becoming a villain because everyone annoys you is a good reason.Ā
Sure he might have killed a couple of people but he had a reason for his madness like many villains. Besides, there is so many fandoms loving villains so why not Jack Griffin? There are a lot of things he can be likable for. I can not believe that he managed to get an image of an evil scientist from an 1933 movie that barely follows the book! I canāt believe I did not find more people addressing this.
