i love thangyu art so so so so much and these lovely artists cook up the most delicious meals for all of us living in thangyu nation. eternally grateful to all the thangyu artists out there 🙏🙏 i really hope i didn’t forget anyone…….
AND OK AHHH fav characters of all time that is so harddd 😭😭😭😭 how could i narrow it down to just 5…….. ok i am going to do this EXCLUDING thanos and namgyu bc i think it’s clear by now that i love them DJDHDJS and they are definitely in my top 5 so im gonna list out my top 5 not including thangyu ✋ in no particular order …….
1. gihun- i think that gihun has become probably one of if not my favourite character of all time. his story is everything to me and thinking about him for too long makes me cry every time.
2. sangwoo- i just think that sangwoo is SUUUUCHHGG a well written character, a character who is an antagonist but not a villain, a character who i get angry with for his actions but can’t help but love. sangwoo just has so much depth to him and the tragedy of his character is soooooooo AAAAGGHBNNDHDHDJDKDH cho sangwoo…….. i hate you and i love you…….
3. hyunju- MY GIRLLLLL I LOVE HER SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭 she’s everything to me. she’s my wife and i love her more than anything. i love how she was written to be strong and powerful yet kind and caring and also protective and vicious. she was just so so amazing and honestly the character i needed to see lol. i love everything about her and i miss her every day. myunggi when i catch your ass
4. saebyeok 💔💔💔 just like gihun if i think about her and her story for too long i WILL start crying. i thought she was just to interesting from the very start, i loved her and gihun’s relationship throughout the show and how it was rocky/built on dislike for each other at first, but then how she slowly grew to trust him and ohhhgg thinking about the ending i’ll cry again 😭 i just love her so so much and her progression throughout s1, she deserved to get out :((
5. jungbae I LOVE JUNGBAE SOOOOOO MUCH he was so so sweet and such a funny character and he brought so much to s2 i loved him 😭😭 i loved his interactions with everyone and how he like so quickly made friends in the games lol he’s just a fun guy!!!! i would love to hang out and get a drink w him 💔💔 and i loved how he was the one to “humanize” and keep gihun grounded during s2, their relationship is everything to me :((((( I LOVE U AND MISS U JUNGBAE 💔💔
ok now LEAST favourites are……
1. myunggi 👹👹👹 hate him for what he did to junhee hate him for what he did to hyunju hate him for what he did to his thanos hate him for what he did to minsu CRYPTO BRO OUT HERE RUINING EVERYONES LIVES !!!!!!!!!! and ok, even though i hate him, i do have to say tho i went from not really caring about his character at all in s2 to loving him as a villain in s3. like i hate him as a person. BUT as a villain/as a character???? i do enjoy the evil direction his character took in s3 LOL so myunggi is the kind of character who i love to hate and hate to love.
(also YES i know that namgyu also killed people and he’s still my favourite. so what………..)
2. player 100 the old man 😒😒😒😒 EVIL EVIL GET OUT IF HEREEEEE NO ONE LIKES YOU only good thing myunggi ever did was kill him ✋ he annoyed me soooo much all of s2/3, still can’t believe he was a finalist 😭
3. and probably the rest of the finalists from s3 (not including minsu ofc!!) they were all the worsssttttttt like i understand why they were the finalists from a narrative perspective but UGHHHHH i wanted to climb thru my screen myself and push them all off.
4. ilnam. fucking weirdo ………… bro created death games bc he was bored like just get a normal hobby like the rest of us…….
honestly i don’t think i have a 5th least favourite, i think that sg is a show full of so many well written characters there’s really not many that i truly dislike 😭 yes ofc there are villains but i think that even the villains are so well written and complex that i can’t help but like them (to an extent) :’)
