Remaking my book again.
pendulum board in my grimoire
Tarot cards cheat sheet, I found these Tarot stickers online which is what I had been waiting for before I could start on these.
I'm debating on whether I want to put borders at the top of some pages because they seem very plain and need something, any input would be appreciated, even if you think I should keep it plain
Finally finished this 15-Page Journaling/Record-Keeping set! I am VERY proud of how it came out, honestly! Check it out fully on my etsy, link in source! Keep track of all your witchery from meditations to rituals and everything in between!!!

Found this online and liked it enough to add it to my book. I wish my calligraphy would improve. No author for it. Speedball C-3 nib.
My new and improved grimoire is turning out super pretty, im so happy I chose a notebook with black pages!
The Magic of the Pines & Correspondences 🌲
“In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines And you shiver when the cold wind blows”
–Dolly Parton
Pine Tree (pinus spp.)
Energy: Both hot & cold
Planet: Mars
Element: Air
Associated Deities: Aphrodite, Astarte, Attis, Cybele, Dionysus, Pan, Venus, The Horned God
Fertility • Love • Purification • Healing • Banishing • Protection • Abundance
There are around 115 types of pine trees and, aside from oak, pine trees are the most successful and widely ranging trees in North America. Pinyon pine nuts are edible and can be ground to make flour, pine oil is used as an antiseptic, pine rosin can be used in soaps and sealing wax, and some Native American tribes used pine gum to treat boils.
The ancient Romans used pine trees cut from sacred groves in a manner similar to modern-day Christmas trees. They would take the trees the night before Saturnalia and place them in temples to be decorated and used as a fertility symbol.
Dreaming of tall straight pine trees means that you will receive good news.
Pine needles can be burned to cleanse and purify the home (mix equal parts juniper & cedar) and to reverse spells and hexes made against you. Scatter the needles on the floor to drive away those with ill-intent. Add crushed pine needles to bath sachets in winter for a relaxing magical cleansing. They can also be used in sleep and dream sachets—just make sure they won’t poke through!
Use branches of pine to sweep an outdoor area before performing magic. Branches can also be placed above the bed to keep sickness away, above the entrance to the home to ensure continual joy within, and a cross of pinch branches or needles above the fireplace will keep evil from entering through it.
Pinecones can be carried or hung in the home to increase fertility and to stay well in old age. Place one near your bed or under your pillow to draw or keep a lover.
Burn pinecones in your hearth to protect (and warm!) your home.
Place pinecones in your office to draw prosperity and success.
To draw positivity and blessings to you tie a bundle of pine needles with thread and burn them. Pass pinecones through the smoke and place them on your altar or in a place you will see them often. Send grateful energy toward them as you pass by them and good things will flow toward you.

Black Salt
Black salt is a great tool for pretty much any witch and can be made with a large variety of things. For me, personally, I generally infuse my black salt with various dark ingredients (as in color, not the intention) from various spells and castings to fine-tune my current needs.
Since I've seen a couple of asks about this, I'm going to make a list of a few different things I do and use to make my black salt.
How I make it:
Grinding salt with dark ingredients
Saturating water with salt, adding dark ingredients with intention, reducing and dehydrating back into a crystallized form
Mixing salt and dark ingredients with a tiny bit of oil or moon water to create a 'paintable' paste
What I've used:
Ashes from burnt incense
Ashes from burnt spells
Trimmings of burnt candle wicks
Dark-colored berries
Ground black stones
Ashes of herbs I've burnt for their effects
Volcanic ash (not terribly dark, but powerful)
Black salt can be used for a variety of practices, but as always, make sure you do your research and cross-reference your findings with a variety of sources before solidifying your knowledge. Sometimes you'd be surprised what mistakes even experiences witches can make without doing their homework, and I want everyone reading this post to be safe in their practice. Blessed be, everyone!

How to Make a Corn Doll
When I visited Salem last year (like a madwoman) I purchased a jet black corn doll sold in one of their museums as a souvenir. Though I believe these are more popular to make for Lughnasadh, I'm entranced with the idea of making a version for Samhain by dyeing corn husks (sold on the international food aisle in most grocery stores) black (or orange if you prefer) during the preparatory soak. Perhaps they will take the place of a wax doll, or function as temporary watch guards in my windows. Presuming my cats don't carry them off.
