BEHIND THE SCENES

This project is special to me: coastal homes are among my favorites, and Brindleton Bay, with its coastal-inspired architecture, was the perfect starting point for this idea ☁️

It’s a completely original design, created entirely from scratch without drawing inspiration from any specific home.

The color palette was built around a mix of whites, blues, yellows, and various shades of brown, combining different furniture styles and playing with those colors in each room to create a space that conveys freshness, warmth, and a welcoming atmosphere 🤎

From the exterior down to the tiniest interior details, every decision was made with the goal of capturing that relaxed seaside lifestyle.

If the last post was about the inspiration behind this build — this one is about the feeling I wanted to create inside it ☁️

Soft neutral tones, warm lighting, and natural textures set the foundation. But it was the quiet little details that brought everything together.

Before building, I took time to research the style behind the original home — understanding its details, its palette, and the feeling it was meant to create. That research became the foundation for every design decision in this build ☁️

This build draws from cozy contemporary homes, Japandi interiors, and organic modern spaces — styles that share the same quiet soul. Calm, grounded, and timeless.

From soft curved furniture and warm wood textures to peaceful outdoor corners and vintage-inspired touches, every space was designed to feel like somewhere you'd actually want to stay 🤎

That's exactly what happened when I came across the beautiful work of @apriljoy_ful on Instagram — a cozy, warm space full of soft colors, timeless details, and a quiet charm that felt impossible to ignore. ♡

I knew I wanted to bring that feeling into The Sims 4.

Not just recreate it — but reimagine it. Turn it into a space that feels lived-in, calm, and full of little cozy corners that tell their own story.

This build ended up feeling especially close to my heart, and I can't wait to share more of it with you soon 🤎
