MOVED TO MY MULTI.
MOVED TO MY MULTI.
Would anyone be interested in a thread with either human Galeb ( pre embrace ) or early Kindred Galeb in the 1700s? ๐
Onur Tuna as Filinta Mustafa in Filinta, episode 22.
Can't believe I've had Galeb for three years. ๐ซ
@falleneros sent: Gifts Galeb with a bouquet of white and red peonies and a sweet little scratch to his beard. "Thank you for your hospitality at your bar the other night. I must say, you have impeccable customer service~"
The Kindred Elder doesn't move an inch, even as fingers scratch lightly at his beard, despite the notable crease of confusion on his brow. Though Galeb isn't an emotional creature, at least, not on the surface. He's spent centuries honing it in, partly deliberate, partly not, parts of himself falling away as the years go by.
But he holds the bouquet close, taking in the sweet aroma before looking back at Vaughn. "Mm." He murmurs at first, cold blue eyes scanning over him, as though that gaze alone could judge someone right down to their core, piercing his soul. "You're welcome." Maybe it was didn't seem like much, but for Galeb, the acknowledgement alone was more than most could ever expect. Where others would receive nothing more than a silent glare and the back of his head as he walked away, those few simple words -- - they meant something. In his own way.
He was surprised. More than surprised, really. For the loads of arcane and occult knowledge he held in his brain, Sebastiรกn had no idea that vampires could fake living so accurately. The revelation was beyond interesting, and he was already imagining how useful that skill must've been to blend in society and avoiding detection.
"Every time I think I have Kindred figured out, you surprise me with something new all over again," he mused, looking for the taller man's eyes and smiling in adoration.
His hand, which caressed Galeb's cheek gently, travelled down a little bit, finding a resting spot right on the other's chest. He could feel the heartbeat there, which caught him even more off guard. Before he knew it, Sebastiรกn was pulling his lover closer just to put his ear against it. If Galeb's heart could still beat, he needed to hear it.
"... If you cold only appreciate how beautiful your heartbeat sounds... Almost as beautiful as you speaking in turkish, my love."
"Mm. Yet you wonder why we have survived for so long?" The Kindred Elder uttered, less of a question and more of a statement as those chilled blue eyes gazed down at the mage. "Right under your noses." He added with a subtle yet dry sense of amusement. At least, amusement in Galeb's own particularly brand of the sentiment.
Though he didn't move as Sebastian shifted, lowering a little to rest the side of his head against the vampire's chest, feeling the steady beat of a usually silent heart thrum against him. It was always a strange feeling. So used to the emptiness in his chest, no beat, no warmth, just dusty and unmoving, yet when he used the blush of life, there it was, something he longed for, something he missed -- - every beat of his dead and cold heart.
A warm hand lifted, resting against the far side of his lover's head, holding him close as he leaned down, pressing a kiss into his hair. "I do." He commented, all that he was willing to give away about he felt, perhaps all he could muster. Truthfully, whenever it faded away, he felt that loss all over again, mourning what pulsed through his body, the silence it left behind. "Enjoy it while it lasts, kรผรงรผk sihirbazฤฑm."
vampires moaning when feeding has me nodding my head like yup thatโs the good shit right there.
Oh, they were totally wearing matching suits. For all the tricky politics and life threatening situations Sebastiรกn had to deal as a mage of the Order of Hermes, he would die before he denied himself the opportunity to enjoy a simple Skadden gala where he could be just an attorney, bringing his date.
Feeling human every once in a while was important, and Galeb's cold demeanor made him wonder just when was the last time he allowed himself to feel anything other than a monster.
He was just about to point that out, when the sudden burst of color and warmth in the vampire's body startled him for a second. And it's not that Sebastiรกn disliked the pale complexion or the cold skin, but his lover looked so suddenly alive that he had to blink in confusion for a moment.
"Kindred can... do that?!" he was surprised. So much so that he immediately reached out to caress Galeb's cheek and actually take the warmth in.
"Well, damn, Galeb. I thought you couldn't look any hotter and here you are, once again proving me wrong."
Galeb never really did get used to it. The taunting feeling of blood pumping through his body again, the sudden warmth at the touch of his skin, the even thudding against the inside of his chest. Then again, it wasn't often that he used his little party trick, and certainly wasn't something that he was meant to reveal to a mortal.
But Sebastian was different. He already knew about Kindred, even if he was their enemy. What was another broken rule to add on top of their relationship?
"Tell a single soul..." He imagined that he didn't need to finish the end of that sentence by now, almost amused by it at this point as he leaned into the hand against his heated cheek. "Yes." Came that commanding voice, chilled blue eyes gazing into those of the other man.
He took Seb's hand from his cheek amongst his now warm fingers and lay his palm gently against his chest. Where it was usually silent, still, his heart beat, drumming against his chest. "For you, yakฤฑลฤฑklฤฑ bรผyรผcรผm."
"I am aware of how it sounds," Sebastiรกn started, knowing full well the implications of what he was suggestingn. "But this is not a party from the Order of Hermes. It's a party of Skadden. The firm? That I work for? With other human lawyers?"
Bringing a Kindred Elder to a room full of mages would be a problem and he knew it better than anyone. But to a simple hall with other lawyers, entrepreneurs and politicians? What was the harm?
He reached out, caressing Galeb's arm in appreciation after he agreed to come with. Difficult as this relationship was, it never truly failed to give the mage some joy.
"Besides, I want everyone to die of jealousy because I have the hottest boyfriend out of the firm."
A solid statement, almost humourous, even when the only objective was to serve as a compliment for the vampire.
"Oh, and we're totally wearing matching suits."
That hadn't necessarily been his first thought. Attending any party was hardly on Galeb's to do list, even one consisting his fellow Kindred. Then again, he could stomach them even less than humans, most of the time. Particularly the younger generations.
Which was most of them given his age.
"Mm." He grumbled again, though despite the disapproving sound, he nodded, an icy hand coming to rest against the one that caressed his arm.
Though what stopped him in his tracks was the notion of the two of them wearing matching suits. "We will not be doing that." He uttered firmly, his gaze narrowing that little bit more.
"I suppose this is the perfect opportunity to use one of my... skills." He seemed to concentrate for a moment, when all of a sudden, warmth spread through his body like a wave rippling through his skin. Colour seeped into his pale complexion, chilled digits became heated with a pulse throbbing in his fingertips and his chest began to steadily rise and fall.
"There." His thundery voice rumbled. "How do I look?"
@thejadedking liked this for a starter
"I am not trying to be obtuse about this, Galeb," Sebastiรกn insisted, putting his cup of coffee down and taking one second to collect his thoughts, and to regain his composure too.
"All I'm saying is that there's a party and I have an invitation for a plus one and... Honestly, I was kind of hoping to brag about the beautiful man who stole my heart and maybe slow dance with him."
He made a pause. A sip of coffee was had.
"The beautiful man who stole my heart is you. In case that wasn't clear enough."
It seemed that Sebastian knew him all too well. The vampire had been about to make a comment stating that the mage should go with said 'beautiful man', even though he was well aware that he did indeed mean him. He may not agree with the sentiment, but he'd been keen to reject the invitation.
"You want to bring a Kindred Elder to a party as your plus one?" Galeb felt as though he had to further clarify with that same steady and ever unemotional tone.
"Mm." The nocturnal creature grumbled with a hardened brow, eyeing his mortal lover with a sense of concentration. "Very well..." He decided reluctantly, cold blue eyes narrowing a little as looked at Sebastian, yet there lingered the faintest hint of softness there that twinkled only for him. "For you."
"Iโve been roaming the night since 1745. Do you have even the slightest idea what that does to you? How it changes you... without even realising it? Without wanting to. It eats you from the insideโฆ"

โ well, i can appreciate a man who stands on principle. โ even if said man still holds a sense of aloofness. vaughn's not going to complain, he'll take the win -- and with a drink at that ! since his transition into this realm things have been TENSE to say the least. he still always has his guard up; just in case his father or one of his goons decide to rear their ugly faces and snatch him back to that dreadful place he used to call home. he doesn't want his entire time squandered from fear though. at least for one night, he can finally let himself be free. โ surprise me, love --- and don't be afraid to make it hard... or spicy~โ
"Mm. That depends on your definition of man." After all, he was talking to a several century old Kindred Elder, one who had long since abandoned much of his humanity. Though not entirely by choice. Some did remain, tiny snippets of his old self, ลehzade Sรผleyman, prince and would be Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. What was he now? Who was he now? Galeb Bazory, a resigned vampire who had given up on everyone and everything around him, desperately searching for something, anything, to give him a reason not to give into the Beckoning. "Very well." He uttered, giving no trace of his thoughts away as he gestured for one of the bar staff to come over. "You heard him." He told them, receiving a quick nod as they went away and started to make him a drink. "So..." That thundery voice rumbled. "What is your name?"
Dwight feels his shoulders relaxing, the tensions that had locked up slipping away. He releases the breath he was unaware he was holding. Finally, a place to rest, somewhere to hide from unsavory eyes.
โThank you..โ Dwight sighs in relief.
"Don't thank me." The stubborn elder noted as he moved up to the bar, gesturing one of the staff to take Dwight's order, regardless of whether or not they were in the middle of serving someone else. Nobody would bat an eye -- - if they knew what was good for them.
"Order whatever you would like." He uttered looking at Dwight, an icy hand coming to rest against his shoulder. "On the house."
โ --- well, way to make a guy feel special! makes me wanna leave an even grander tip to your staff for such premier customer service. โ he gladly prefers this demeanor of galeb far more than the one at their first encounter with each other. โย but hopefully tonight will be more of a good time than a BAD one~ โ
"It is a matter of respect. These are my rules, and they will be followed whilst stood on my premises." He wouldn't deny that once his patrons were outside, he cared very little for what happened to them. Most could look after themselves and whatever they got themselves into was their own business not his. As long as they didn't drag him into it or draw any attention. "Mm." He responded in his usual manner. "Drink?"
OPEN STARTER:
"While you are in my bar, you are under my protection. A matter I don't take lightly. Anyone who disagrees will be... dealt with."
