Oh hey, if you happen to be ice fishing and a seal is trying to come up, if you can please leave your hole and take a break. Likely this animal has been holding their breath a long time, and this guy is too terrified to even surface but desperately needs to breathe so it doesn't flee. Give these guys some space, kindness goes a long way. True kindness is giving it to those who can give you nothing in return. If you can go to a place the seal cannot see you (like take a break inside a tent) that would be awesome of you, and it only takes a few minutes for them to catch their breath. It's not asking much!
