I love this shot from yesterday at the lake. PawPaw sits patiently teaching my kids the art of worms and casting. This moves me to tears because I never had this growing up. My heart knows the deep longing for a fathers love and only as I've become a father have I learned that longing is but an echo for the ultimate belonging we have with our Creator and perfect Father. This photo is but a glimpse of the space we'll have with Him for all eternity. That proximity is what our created hearts crave most. It's beautiful. I'm so thankful for glimpses like this.
