my newest journey!!

Beal art! My home for the next one possibly two years! as i move through the school year i will be sharing my work done both in and outside of school. The first quarter is painting and film, with life drawing on the side. i'll be posting something soon (hopefully) hope you're going to like it!

A Summer Of

first day at my new job! its going to be a summer of working. oddly enough its also going to be a summer of activities with friends, healthy dieting with my mom, and hopefully a summer of pictures and maybe even a few video going up here! so stay tuned because "The Summer Of" is almost here!! :)

winter :)

the one thing i love most about winter in Canada.....

its not that the cold makes you bundle up in your  warmest, comfiest clothes; or wrap your self in a blanket drinking hot tea and reading a good book.

its not that the falling snow has such elegance that one could watch it for hours on end; or that in the evenings it creates the picturesque winter night scene.

it no that once the snow has fallen it blankets this part of our slimy, murky, defiled world in a peaceful purity, that we cant wait to both embrace and destroy.

its not watching the gleeful faces of kids of all ages as they come together to find enjoyment in only ways someone with a young heart and mind can.

the one thing i love most about winter; the one thing.

its the SNOW DAYS!! :)

Yeah, this basically sums up my unpopular preference for Fahrenheit as a measurement of temperature.

I want a number (usually positive) that will describe my personal experience of the weather. That is all I want a temperature scale to do: I want it to give me a large number when it is hot and a very small number, or even a negative one, when it is cold.

I realize there are culinary/scientific/medical reasons to cite temperatures as well, but what I MOST need temperature to do is express the relationship between the air and my skin.
