What was your favourite part of hermione being pregnant?

“Other than everything?? I mean... y'know, it was so hard for her to get pregnant, and the pregnancies were so difficult on her, I really tried my best to enjoy every moment I could. Even when she was super crazy hormonal and threatenin' to hex off my bits. So.. maybe that wasn't my favourite part. But the rest of it was all brilliant. -- Well, maybe not the morning sickness. Or gettin' sent out at 3 in the morning for weird foods. Actually, that part wasn't that bad, since 'm always hungry too. But favourite favourite part? Gettin' to see her smile every time Rose and Hugo kicked her in the ribs. Most beautiful smile in the world."

Hermione washed her hands before walking back over to Ron and sitting down, curling her legs underneath her. “Alright, if that’s what you want to do, we’ll tell them we’re doing an alcohol free month to see how it affects our energy levels.” She sighed and rubbed her forehead, looking over at him. “And I’ll tell them I have a busy day at work tomorrow and I still have some paperwork to go over tonight so we’ll have to leave early.”  Her hand hand found his almost subconsciously, her thumb circling his. 

“There’s programs you can join, Muggle ones, with meetings with similar problems, to help.”  

Ron nodded slowly, taking her hand in his and lacing their fingers together tightly. He knew that he had a lot of work ahead of him in terms of fixing everything that he had managed to screw up thanks to his drinking, even if most of those things were in his head. After all, Hermione had found out and didn’t leave him or hate him, maybe things weren’t as bad as he feared. “Yeah, I think that’ll work.  They’ll believe that for sure, it sounds believable and normal for us. Well, for you.” 

He looked over at Hermione for a moment before lifting her hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to the back of her fingers as a sign of his appreciation. She didn’t have to help him through this, but she was, and he loved her all the more for it. “D’you think that’ll help? Talking to muggles? Maybe it would. They wouldn’t know who I was.”

Mum hasn’t stopped her sugar free thing. She’s also starting to do this thing where all food is cooked healthy. This is why dad almost killed one of you lot last week at Sunday dinner for his tart.

"Cooked healthy, wot does that even mean? Does that mean no fried chicken? Coz if that's the case, remind me not t' come over there for the holidays. Also, if you need sweets, I'll smuggle 'em to you and the rest of you lot. I love your mum but honestly, no sugar is just torture."

Celebrate. You’re cooler than Harry. Also, you’re a rare chocolate frog card. Harry’s just a common.

"Y'know, as a former chocolate frog card collector m'self, that's prolly the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. Thanks, mate. Also, of course 'm cooler than Harry. He's got the whole Chosen One Savior Of the World thing going for him, but I had to develop an actual personality."

What’s your favorite thing Hermione showed you about the Muggle world?

"--- Bloody hell, I can only pick one thing? Oh, I dunno, erm.... films, prolly. I like watching all the stories on the telly, it's really neat. Like sure, yeah, we've got moving photos and paintings in the Wizarding World, and there are plays and the like, but combining the two and putting them on a screen is wicked. We have movie nights when we've got the time."

Does Hermione kill the spiders?

"Spiders?! Where??! -- Bloody hell, mate, you can't just say that word. And yeah, she kills 'em for me. She's got a talent for it these days. Saw her hex one off the wall without even lookin' yesterday."

Ron let out a long sigh through his nose, a hand reaching up to rub at his forehead. He was going to have several rough days ahead of him, although avoiding his family sounded like a terrible idea. They would know something was up if they skipped dinner.  “No, let’s go to the Burrow at least. Mum’ll worry herself sick if we don’t show up, y’know she will.  I’ll just take a potion or somethin’ and it’ll be fine. After that, ‘m more than happy to lay on the couch for a few days and get this over with.”

“Your brothers are going to be there…” Whenever Ron and his brothers got together, alcohol was almost always involved and she really didn’t think putting him in a situation like that so soon would be a good idea. “I just don’t think it’s a good idea. I can say I’m sick, she’ll send over some food…” 

She picked up the trash bag and walked into the kitchen to put it in the trash. “But if you think it’ll help, we’ll go, I’m just looking out for you.”

“If you tell mum that you’re sick, you know she’s gonna want to pop over to check on you. Or she’ll insist I come over and pick up food for you and see everyone. Even if we tell ‘em its something contagious and gross, y’know ‘m right. One way or another, she’ll figure out we’re lying and then think we didn’t want to see her, and it’s gonna be a whole thing.” Ron flopped down onto the sofa, sighing again before watching his girlfriend set the bottles into the rubbish bin. Honestly, it would have been smarter to just Vanish them instead, because he wouldn’t put it past himself to go dig them out of there in the middle of the night. But he wasn’t going to bring that up yet; maybe later. 

He patted the spot next to him as she returned from the kitchen, giving a tired little smile. “C’mere, come sit down. Look, we’ll go to the Burrow, you can tell my brothers that you’re putting me on some barmy Muggle diet to help me at work and ‘m not allowed to drink, I’ll act like its the worst thing in the world but ‘m doin’ it to make you happy, and they’ll believe it. It’ll be fine, promise. Then, once I get on the other side of this, I can tell ‘em about everything.”

Guess I’ll come with. As long as you don’t go too crazy. Oh, and we eat tons of junk food that auntie ‘Mione and Mum never allow us to have.

"Is your mum still on that sugar-free nonsense? I think your aunt Mione gave up on that whole keto thing since I took it as an excuse to eat nothing but chicken and bacon all day every day. Technically I was following the rules. She should know by now that bacon is my one true love."

Have you picked up any habits from your niece/nephews?

"Yeah, yeah, 'm a fan of all this new Gen Z talk or wotever. Yeet and lit and erm... oh, simp. They say 'm a simp for Mione all th' time. I guess it's true, yeah? Still carry a flip phone, though; those fancy smartphones keep breaking around all the magic."

Dad wanted to go with you. Cannons aren’t exactly Goncalo Flores, the hottest bloke in quidditch. But I will take ya to muggle London for some good ole punk rock time. Ever been in a mosh pit?

"Oh, you're still on about Flores, then? Figured maybe gettin' t' hang out with the coolest Uncle in the world would've at least swayed y' back t' the Cannons. -- Wot, y'think I fought dark wizards and never got in a mosh pit? I mean, you'd be right, but prolly isn't much different, yeah?"

Hey Uncle Ron. Dad asked me to drop in, give you an early holiday gift. Two tickets to a cannons game. If you still like them that is.

"Albus! Glad you dropped in, feel like I haven't seen you in ages. Listen, I know you want t' steal my shirts and things, but 'm ride or die for the Cannons. 'm fully expecting the lot of you to make sure 'm buried in orange robes with my broom. So yeah, I'll take the tickets. -- D'you wanna come with me?"

Do you want children?

"I mean ... yeah, sure, eventually. If it happens it happens, I guess. I know mum'd be chuffed if me and Hermione had kids, and I've always figured it'd happen one way or another, y'know?”

Well, I was contemplating coming back until I realized the only people I followed who are still active all unfollowed me. Oops. Um. Well. 😬 guess it’ll just be me and Cilla.

Will you be back in 2021?

Technically I’m answering this in 2021 so there’s still time right? 👀👀 but hi I’m not dead!! TLDR one of my last ooc posts in may 2020 was apologizing for being slow because I was sick. Well, I had covid and it caused permanent neurological damage. I’m still not back at 100% yet, it damaged nerves in my wrists and hands so typing is hard and I also have memory loss and trouble with words. So… basically, writing is extremely difficult but getting better!! WHEN (not if) I come back, I probably won’t be able to do para RP anymore until my brain starts working again, but I miss Ron and everyone and I love you all! ❤️❤️
