First of the request portrait, @krakenguard 's pirate mermaid !

since it was looking more like an animal/ monster , I accepted it since I don't draw mermaids that much.

I hope its ok if I added some detail that weren't on the ref you showed me ( I couldn't help myself, I had to give some pretty jewel and a nice feather to go go on her pirate hat !)

"Uhmmm... H-hello? Are you there?"

The fairy flies shakily and shyly into the Kraken's quarters, not knowing exactly what to do or what to say, with only one thing in mind: to escape from the ship's sailors who frightened her so much and to find a quiet and safe place for herself.

"... Hmhm... T'is not often that the mouse seeks the protection of the cat," the Kraken Guard said with that low chuckle of hers.

"Aye, I am here, my little mouse."

"Little mouse?"

The fairy couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, coquettishly tucking a loose strand of her long hair behind her ear. She had to admit she had liked the nickname, flowing like warm water from a spring on the fierce captain's lips.

"I'm sorry to bother you... Kitten. I just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle from the upper floors for a bit. Your crew tends to be a little too fiery for my liking."

The reality was that one of the fish-men, the 'ugly' one with the starfish shaped head and looking more terrible than all the nightmares Nessa could ever have had, had tried to seduce her in ways she considered uncommon. Well, nothing in the Leviathan could be common for a modest, well-planted fairy... but at least next to Kraken she felt safe.

"Is that your bedroom?" when noticing the beautiful decoration she felt amazed, turning around again and again with a smile in her lips.

The Kraken Guard quirked a brow at the name kitten... She was a captain; not a kitten. She was far from being anyone’s kitten. But, she supposed she would let the little fairy have her pass... For now.

Putting on a slight smirk, the Kraken Guard held out her hand for the fairy.

“Fascinated by my quarters, hm? Aye, this is my little grove... You can see I have accumulated quite the collection during my years of pirating.”

Wow, another AWESOME creature prompt!  I had a LOT of fun with this one, I didn’t wanna stop adding things, but at one point I realized this has to be fun for other people to draw too.  So, to keep it from getting too busy, I called this done, but WOWEE this has so many aspects to the design, I absolutely love it!  Creature/species belongs to @theunawesomeduck
