Annnnd there was the gun.  Just the last thing he wanted facing him.  There were a few instances where that gun had gone off and the person it was aimed at hadn’t died.  But they were few and far between.  And Gilliam wasn’t going to test his luck.  “Gilliam Yeager, Gilliam Yeager, and…  And…”  He couldn’t quite say his last one.  It would probably sound even more ridiculous out loud.

He couldn't leave anything to chance. Just one lead - any lead - as to why the world is after him could very well get him out of the hell that he had found himself in.

"I want a straight answer. Why are you following me?"

Gilliam followed him.  Perfect soldier Chirico, a man with secrets bigger than even he likely realized. 

Seeing the blue haired man try and evade him he swore.  Clearly he was onto him, however if memory served, and hopefully it would, Chirico would likely hide out in one place.  With any luck…

Yes, there it was the scrapyard.  Hopefully this was where the man was headed.  With any luck, he would find him here…  And not get shot at.

He was persistent. Chirico knew this man wanted something from him, otherwise he wouldn't have went through all the trouble of trying to find him. But who could have sent him? Rochina? The police force? Perhaps he was an independent contractor. Either way, this had information that Chirico did not. To unravel this conspiracy surrounding him, Chirico needed as much information as possible. With that in mind...

"Who are you? Who sent you? Why have you been following me?"

Amid a sea of unremarkable innocents, Chrico noticed someone odd among them. A man of purple hair, with a trenchoat had been following him for some time. Suspicious, Chirico began to try and lose him amid the crowd of people.

He watched his visitor twitch.  Did he think it was a weapon or something.  Well…  It could be, but, he wasn’t using it as one.  He simply held it.  ”This?”  He asked.  ”Its just a boring rock.  A stone, nothing exciting you can find it on the ground.”  He offered his hand to the other.  ”Just take it and think of a temperature, any temperature.  The stone will match that temperature.”

Jijirium is a compound that has been scientifically proven to remain at a constant temperature, no matter the environmental conditions. The energy it uses to regulate said temperature is what powers most military grade AT's. To have Jijirium change its temperature was simply a scientific impossibility.

Chirico decided to go along with the merchant's charade and took the stone.  ("Think of a temperature, any temperature")

Cold. Freezing, deathly cold. Memories began to flood the soldier's mind of the tundras of Galeade. He could still remember the ice creeping up his body as a frozen typhoon enveloped him, bringing him the closest to death he had been to up to that point.

It was only then that he realized that his hand was beginning to accumulate ice around it.

[The Micro Mobile Suit.] (Starter for The-Last-Red-Shoulder.)

*It was a boring evening aboard White Base II. Most of the crew were asleep, all except for Bright, Mirai, and of course, Amuro. He couldn’t get enough training in the simulators, even though he was the best mobile suit pilot in the entire Federation. Halfway through his 4th sim, Amuro was called to the bridge*

"Man, what does Bright want now?"

*White Base II had locked into a high orbit around the Moon. Right now, they were on the dark side, where reports said Zeon remnants had been rallying. Amuro got to the bridge to find that it wasn’t Zeon who had been sighted, but a lone mobile suit, and a small one at that. Bright ordered Amuro to board Gundam and go check it out*

"It’s probably just a miner who got lost or something. At least I get to actually pilot Gundam for once, It’s been over a week now."

How long had it been: hours, days, weeks? Time had but melded into one steam of consciousness. On the dark side of this moon, there is no sun, no earth and thus, no concept of time. A man sits inside his iron coffin.

The fact that this thing was able to hold up as long as it has, and in space no less, has to be a modern miracle of engineering.

Or perhaps due to the tenacity of its pilot.

Surrounded by hostile strangers with no sign of civilization, Chirico found himself in an all-too familiar situation. In order to keep a steady flow of oxygen, Chirico had been constantly regulating his AT's energy usage; just enough for oxygen and heat, but not enough expenditure to be read on most conventional military radars. However, this also meant that he was unable to move. The only thing Chirico could do is sit until a moment of opportunity presented himself to escape this situation.

The radar sounds off. Something approaches.

((Due to the nature of my work, which involves a lot of travel, I find that I don't have enough energy to keep up with this blog on a consistent basis. Because of this, there may be large periods of inactivity on this blog, and I really should have mentioned that at first. Either way, I'm currently on a break in between trips, so I'll be able to manage this here blog. Much apologies to the people I have (or was going to) RP with.))

He stared at the blue haired man.  He seemed to pick his words carefully before he spoke each time.  This meant speech was rare to come by with him.  ”AT modifications?”  He asked, a bit lost at the term.  But assuming it wouldn’t be wildly out of the way.  ”Uhh…  Well, in theory.  Lots of things.  Of the top of my head, since it isn’t living…  I think, I can’t modify life functions of itself…  But, well, weight, stability, durability, I can affect pretty much any aspect of it to a degree.  And, of course, add other aspects.”  He wasn’t sure what an AT was…  And stability was just a guess.  So, he didn’t go on about the things he could do.  ”Maybe a sample demonstration to get your mind going.”  He said reaching into his jacket and producing a simple, if pretty, rock.  ”How about one of those?”

The second the merchant reached into his pocket Chrico was tempted to pull his gun on him. He wasn't a fan of sudden movements to say the least. Thankfully, all he pulled out was a small rock. It wasn't anything Chirico was used to seeing, but considering where he was, he could assume that it was some for of Jijirium. Perhaps refined differently? In any case, Chirico's curiosity was piqued.

"What exactly do you want me to do with this?

He stared at him.  ”The use of magic to give objects properties not found to them in nature.”  He said.  ”That is the webster abridged definition…  Maybe three editions back, but, well, I doubt they changed things much.”  He said to the blue haired man.  ”Although with hair like that…  I suppose you’re quite the mage.”

Obviously, if you're working in Black Market activities, you're going to want to be subtle about what you're actually doing but this still seems a little...off. He seems way too earnest about his belief in magic. Although, that might just make him a genius businessman. Chirico decided he should just go along with it, as to not go around in circles with this conversation. Just think of "enchantments" as "modification"

Edward looked at the four new arrivals.  Unlike normal there seemed to be an even mix of males and females.  ”Huh.”  He casually observed.  ”Salutations, one, all.  I am Edward Lyons, master enchanter.  If you want an ordinary object to do un-ordinary things I am the man you come too.  Tell me, does anybody want to discuss enchanting?”\

 Chirico chooses to keep his distance from the merchant, as he's not exactly sure what exactly "enchantments" entail. Magic was obviously completely out of the question, so it had to be something else. Jijirium enhancements? Illegal weapon mods? Obviously this made had to be a part of the seedier portions of the galaxy. Chrico's all-too familiar with those parts, and was mentally prepared to pull out his pistol at any moment in time.

"Define Enchantments."

((And so it begins...))

((Hi everyone, I just made this RP account for Chirico from Armored Trooper VOTOMS! So I'm really kind of new to the whole tumblr RP game and have really no idea what I am doing, but I'm really excited and can't wait to see what comes out of this! My page itself is currently under construction, but I do have an About page for context on the character if you aren't familiar! I'd love to RP with people who have mecha-related accounts, but of course I'm open to everyone! So thanks for checking this blog out, and hopefully we'll have some good times!))
