After 2 years it's finished!!! Giving the delicate flower to the pale king is such an amazing concept for me. I have had this hc ever since I played the game for the first time, and was I not to be this clumsy, I would have tried doing it a long time ago.

Fun fact: I gave White the hobby of mixology because I. Couldn’t think of anything else honestly. But also because I feel like it would actually come in handy for them to have the materials to make those sort of beverages given salt is a common ingredient in them. Not that they’re aware of that being useful for some time.

They do accidentally poison Blue due to this though. I imagine that’s how they found out just how serious the weakness to salt is- the knew it just innately, out of instinct being repulsed by it. But they didn’t know how bad. Meanwhile White just thought they made the drink that bad lmao. The exchange basically went

“Hey I decided to try using my mixology skills again, you want to try some?”

“Ooo sure :D”

And then they took a sip and had to politely bolt to puke out pink slime. Purple thinks they’re a fucking idiot.

I’m still working on the polyskeld endings (I’m writing it on Pages and it’s almost 1 page long already, I’m barely halfway), but it just occurred to me how genuinely funny it is that Green is still a worm farmer despite being a born Imposter.

The implications of there being an Imposter society that is being fucked over by Mira stealing their eggs is one thing. It’s another thing entirely that Imposters also need worm farming and are able to make it an airtight alibi for infiltration.

Furthermore, how does a simple worm farmer go from their general everyday life to being a secret agent on a mission who apparently enjoys a bit of murder?
