One of my clients had a baby and she lets me hold her during the session. It makes me wanna baby really bad and it also makes me want to write a lautity baby fic

You ever think about Grace only ever physically complimented her made up version of Max, but the only real person she does it to is Steph?

And then how she refuses to let Max too close, only getting close to him and others to threaten, but happily and willingly embraces, twirls, shares a chair, holds hands, exchanges the Black Book with and affectionately touches is Steph?

And then how Max and Grace/Steph and Pete interacting is not a constant in every timeline, but Grace sacrificing herself for Steph is a constant in every timeline? And that Grace’s survival rate is not guaranteed? What becomes of Steph without someone there to play guardian angel?

The implications…

Specifically for the Guy timeline - Pete and Steph don’t meet or interact and he dies early on without ever knowing her and vice versa but at some point Grace fully sacrifices herself for Steph, probably gets infected and is most likely the one who ultimately turns Steph.

And sure, you could easily have Grace parallel Alice and give her a “Not Your Seed” moment to Mark and Karen with Steph as Deb without having to change anything. But with a couple changes, it could work just as well as being sung to a not-yet infected Steph.

I’ve been trying to write the second part of the strap on fic and it’s nearly done but something isn’t quite clicking with it and I can’t seem to make it work the way I want to. So I’ve decided to switch gears and write Masters of Death, Kings of Nothing. Another post canon lautity fic that follows the structure of The Suture, The Needle by Chase Petra and explores Grace’s mental health declining and then recovering after the events of NMPD and the coming together of lautity.
