Nick's label as the babysitter when he first appears in legendborn remains accurate
A pic from the Legendborn collectors edition
I went to Barnes and Noble for the first time ever today and I saw the Legendborn collectors edition and the oathbound Barnes and Noble exclusive edition and it took every ounce of strength to not buy them 💔 I did look at the bonus parts though I just skimmed over them because I didn't have time to fully read 😔
Did/does Sel mesmer or control Deputy Norris? Near the beginning of the book, Bree mentions that Sel and Tor (Legendborn) are ranked higher than the deputy in whatever system they've got going on, and she assumes that they work with the police and that Norris knows about Legendborn and magic and all that. I dont remember Norris or police in general being mentioned after that? Like when Sel says "On your way." Was that him giving orders or forcing him to act that out? The way Norris behaves (how Bree describes it) makes me think he does just know but then what's his connection? Because if he was part of the order i feel like it would be mentioned (or maybe there's just something I forgot/didn't pay attention to)
I have a follow up correction post I'm gonna make about this but I'm lazy so it might be a while
Love the moment when Bree is trying to tell Alice something important about how she saw a boy doing magic and what not and Alice being upset that she's changing the subject ultimately being the one who changes the subject herself and said boy being Sel
screaming crying throwing up
(I might have to take a quick detour into writing these three for a one-shot because IF NOT THROUPLE WHY THROUPLE SHAPED?!?!!)
I can't wait to see Nick and Sel rage baiting each other in the last book. I really really want to see more of their interactions for this book ive been tweaking over them for the past like 4 years 😭
Makes me mad that Dean McKinnon doesn't even hear Bree out about Norris and then immediately slams her by putting her "disrespectful" behavior on her mother's death. Imagine assuming your "potential for brilliance" student would act that way and then have the audacity to tell her the cause of her actions like
Do y'all think Alice is going to get a love interest?
yes
no

If you see Nick Davis getting in between two dark haired stubborn baddies having what looks like the most ferocious argument do not interfere. He’s exactly where he wants to be. And will be enraged if you do.
Breeselnick should be endgame. That’s it. That’s my thought.
Chat is Alice cooked in book 4?
yes
no
Rereading Legendborn makes me wonder why I had no theories about it. It was probably because of the pace I read it (which I nee dto work on because I need to leave some room for thoughts) but my head was empty and surprised and rereading it feels obvious like "yeah only Legendborn and people who are oathed can see this, and you aren't oathed..."
Never realized Sel's initials foreshadowed him being the son of the Shadow King until I saw Tracy say she always knew she wanted his initials to be SK (or something like that)
Wonder what sel and tor talked about when they were dating
Matter of fact, what do Sar and Tor even talk about
