Im reading the second legendborn book rn and genuinely this can only end in death or polyamoury
Do we know how old Tor is?
On the fandom wiki thing it says she's 19 but I dont remember her age being said and I could low-key make a whole post about this
Follow up/correction to that one post I made back in April that no one remembers about
They probably do just have order members in the police force for convenience. I totally forgot that the guy who mesmered Bree when her mom died was a police officer.
william sitterson appreciation post
OH. OH OKAY. OH OKAY.
The moment Nick realized Bree is exactly his type.
I'm rereading Legendborn and writing my thoughts down on note cards as I go. Sometimes I'll write a whole note card on one thought and then realize "Wait, this actually doesn't make sense, and I think I'm super wrong about this."
Why does the order use the early college program to find squires if they prefer to stay in their circle and get all mad when they pick someone who isn't from a vassal family. (I know there were more factors on why they were mad but the whole I pledged to this family generations ago and now you've taken that opportunity from someone who has been here longer and devoted more also played a part)
Is the whole Bree being able to resist mesmer with pain something that only she can do? Bree did this 3 months after her mother's death and could only do it at will when she realized it was pain helping her resist, so is this something that can be practiced? I'm sure someone would have come across it at some point, so I'm assuming it's just a Bree thing but is there any specific reason why she even can?
Legendborn cycle bonus chapters
This cat and mouse - sel pov bonus chapter legendborn (the pics are low quality i'm sorry)
Oathbound - extended version of chapter 51: part 1 part 2
william pov from the bloodmarked paperback (the oathbound first chapter sneak peek is first and then the will pov bonus chapter. you just have to scroll down)
sel commentary oathbound: part 1 part 2
Legendborn Collector's edition bonus content: part 1 part 2
bonus chapters from the oathbound paperback: part 1 part 2
I put these in the order of their apparition. Except for the legendborn collector's edition the rest are either from b&n exclusive editions (and b&n doesn't deliver to a lot of countries outside the usa) or usa paperbacks. I decided to put all of them together and i'll try to update when/if new bonus content drops.
I often forget that the order members have regular jobs like nIcks dad being a professor at the school? I understand that they mesmer everyone but like???
What about charlotte and Evan? Like is Charlotte okay or? Did they just tell her that he broke up with her and is moving to another country? Did they actually tell her he died in some freak accident or whatever? Was their relationship weak enough for her memories of him to just be fully removed? That doesn't sound like something that would work though assuming Evan had other friends at school. That seems like maybe more work than a Merlin is capable of doing?
Thinking about how sel had neither of his parents in book 1 and nick still had his father and how now sel has both his parents and nick has neither
Reading Oathbound is so fun because while Bree is having an internal turmoil about whether or not she wants to fuck Nick, he is like 'Do you remember Sel? You'll love Sel. Bree, what about Sel? Sel. Sel. Sel.'
And as a Bree/Sel/Nick truther this is highly appreciated 🥰😂
I've always rooted for the throuple endgame in Legendborn but thought if that doesn't happen then I'd prefer Bree with Nick but upon rereading the books I realized I highly undervalued Sel
Tbh Sel and Bree are pretty similar they both are stubborn and relentless (... Insert more adjectives that describe them with words I can't think of rn)
Nick has a type
Nick's label as the babysitter when he first appears in legendborn remains accurate
