look i cant stop anyone from making "haha look how similar the old-man dick and jason are to bruce! they must be his biological children" jokes. however, i can say i find them extremely uncomfortable and tiring. they are signaling the idea that "biological" family is better or more family than adoptive family relationships and re-enforcing the idea. "if the children act or look like bruce they must be biologically his !" is quietly implying that if they are not biologically his, they are not really his.

this is a way of thinking that damian, the someone who called himself "the blood son" had to actively unlearn. it is something the comics have explicitly stated is untrue and the repeated jokes de-valuing the adoptive/foster parent and child relationship are tiring in a fandom build on found family dynamics.

Headcanon the first (and last) time Y/N invites Vox to shower with them, he completely forgets that he has a television head. Y/N is under the belief that Vox is waterproof because, well, he would’ve declined otherwise.

It does not occur to Y/N that Vox is so eager to have sex that all common sense has been erased from his servers.

The shower lasts for about ten seconds, in which there is lots of screaming, glitching, falling, cussing and ‘Vox.exe is not responding’.

Luckily, the effects weren’t permanent, but Vox ended up speaking backwards for an entire week. This would’ve only been three days, but the VoxTek employees found it so funny they made a silent pact to not fix it until he was actively threatening one of them.

It started as sword training with Sebek, Silver, and Lilia. Your magic lessons were fun and all but when you were told you could use a sword? You were *in*. They couldn't get that training sword in your hand soon enough.

The wooden blade was comically large in your tiny hands and you cursed that but you supposed learning this early on like this meant your body would adjust better. And it did! You were doing so good! Lilia praised you himself during the set breaks where you hydrated.

Then the sparring started, being in a child body and the opponents having been training for years it would make sense they made you eat dirty many...many times. It was your growing rage at loss after loss that fueled you to think of any way to win.

It was a beautiful, terrible idea, stupid for sure as well. Maybe you really were spending too much time with Ace. But magical beam sword seemed like a genius idea and a way to change the tides of war! You messed around with it in private trying to force your idea into reality. You only passed out a handful of times!

Sebek stood across from you at the ready. You started the spar like normal hoping that maybe *maybe* you could get a hit on him. Spoiler you could not and his humans pathetic speech that inevitably followed had you so mad. Your blade erupted in magic as you yelled.

The display startled Sebek, Silver, and Lilia; but before you could even swing it the over use of magic fueled by your rage made you wobble. Your vision faded out on and off as the blade lost its power, "I don't feel so good." You slurred before collapsing.

The panic at first was only settled when Lilia confirmed you were just resting and merely over did it again. Still there was something there but Lilia would have to lecture you on not practicing magic alone...again.

Everyone expected you to latch onto Ace or Deuce as they were your first 'friends' but after meeting Sebek all bets were off. To you he was the epitome of cool, and that only grew as you got to know the Diasomnia group as a whole. In this reality you were transfered dorms to Diasomnia at Lilia's insistence, not that you fought hard.

Sebek at first hated you. While yes your praise of him did make him feel good, the way you latched onto him was annoying. A fact Lilia and Malleus found most funny when he expressed this.

You grew on him though, soon he seeks you out. He worried about your safety as much as the young master's and lucky for him if you weren't on *his* tail coats you were with Malleus. Truly kind of lord malleus to humor you so. As if the quartet wouldn't all bend to your every whim.

Best of luck to anyone who makes you cry, while Sebek will be the most violent in handling the problem it would be a short term suffering, the bully best hope it's him who finds out and gets to them first.

Malleus is always carrying you. It worked well for him since you struggled to keep up with his gait, and the sight of a small child in his hold comfortable helped soften him for other students. You always have the cutest questions to him as well.

With you around Malleus wanders off far less much to the joy of hs retainers.

Lilia is back to his dad days of young Silver. Though he's been teaching the boys (Sebek, Malleus, and Silver) how to properly care for you as you grow. Because as far as he knows his time is running out. He won't be there for you to grow up, and he loves you so much already.

Thinking about Gale picking up more child friendly books as the companions proceed through the journey to baldur's gate so he can read knak!reader bed time stories. Sweet man reads them to you after swaddling you in blankets and pillows, he doesn't even get halfway through you're already out like a light.

Or knak!reader trying to hold Karlach's hand through other objects, like them holding opposite sides of a stick and stuff. As soon as she can touch people she's picking them up like a Teddy bear and giving them piggy back rides.

Also, who's fighting to hold readers hand during travelling, reader may not be actually a kid but they're small so they're bound to get lost (or at least in their eyes), so they have to hold hands as they make their way to their next stop.

Halsin tells stories like asop's fables with animal characters and lessons. He doesn't tell stories of his youth less he encourage you to act as reckless as he was.

Gale just reads the books he's been gathering over their travels. A lot of his life was in service to Mystra and while he still loved her for what she had been he can't deify her to you lest you end up used and abandoned like him.

Astarion and Le'zel are forbidden from telling stories as according to the rest of the party are inappropriate for young ears. Yet their stories of blood and conquest are actually your favorite.

Karlach's stories are purely made up fantasy stories. Often depicting you as the hero. Lots of laughs from her light hearted tales.

Wyll's tales are much like Karlach in the way they sound made up but truly they are just of his adventure.

Shadowheart is banned from telling stories because she basically tells her God's version of Bible fables and no one in the group wants you worshiping any God lest their eyes be cast upon you in the worst ways.

So I'm thinking knak pokemon reader, reader will basically be the pokemon magnet the disney princess of pokemon. (Gn of course being a Disney princess is a mentality not what's in or not in your pants)

But since I'm gunna have reader living on the streets for a bit I can't decide is they get a pokemon to keep as their first or their first offical pokemon (ball and all) as a gift from Corbeau.

Bc like obviously Corbeau isn't going to jump to at being a dad, but will help in small ways. A safe place to sleep, 'hand me down' clothing he totally didn't just buy for you, and a pokemon for protection. Maybe a hatchling Venipede from his partner Scolipede?

Like he totally tries to keep distance using his grunts to keep an eye on you but eventually he just goes all in. He just sees too much of himself in you, alone with out a place to call home yet you smile where he failed to at your age.

At first Corbeau views it as paying the kindness from Lysander he had foreward. But it just spirals. Philippe finds the whole thing sweet and feels so proud of his bestie for being so honest with his feelings.

The grunts once you are 'adopted' and living with Corbeau start calling you little boss. It does not help your new father figure dresses you similar to himself with shades of black and purple. Obviously not all the time he wants you to be you not a copy of himself. But on big days where lots of people will be involved you do have to wear the outfit he picks. He doesn't tell you but it's to afford some protection and a silent claim. This is *my* child style stuff.

-He knows it’s your job really he does. But he hates it. Fortune telling or not you didn’t need to behaive that way.

-Still he does his best to control his urge to tell you to stop it. To call your job a con and try to get you to go into a different line of work.

-He likes fortune tellers and tarrot readings, and all that. He just doesn’t like you doing it if it makes other people fall for you.

-He brings up a few times the option of dropping the act make it more real. Somewhat relieved you say no that way they won’t fall for the real you.

-It’s when he is picking you up from work and hears talk of the hot fortune person and how they wanted to bang the teller did he snap.

-First he gets rid of the ones talking. Easy enough, between his own stand and the many friends he has erasing a few scummy people won’t matter.

-The second thing is much harder. He knows you won’t quit the job he’s asked you before. You laughed off his jealousy. So now he’ll have to keep you to himself another way.

-Walks you home like normal but once your in your home he knocks you out.

-Moves your unconcious form to the bed room. Then gets rid of all the forms of outside communication you have. Sorry babe no calling for help.

-He hates hurting you but feels if it has to be done to keep you inside and away from prying eyes he will do it.

- Breaks both you legs and uses Crazy D to heal them though not in a way you can use them. He takes from you your ability to walk.

-Tells you everything when you wake up and covers your mouth before you scream. “Don’t worry babe. I’ll just take care of you from now on. Just don’t fight too much…. I’d really hate to take more from you.”

Dunno if this counts as yandere because I have trouble wrapping my head around what yandere is (does yandere always involve violence or can it just be general protectiveness/possessiveness?) but what about Prosciutto finding out his gentle and sweet s/o has an abusive family and he is protective of them after seeing them cry or if they are yelled at (not necessarily by someone in the family either but they have a fear of loudness and conflict)

Prosciutto had a select few he trusted completely and fewer he held true affection for be it platonic or not. So to him his s/o is his world. How someone so soft and kind could love a man broken like him and a killer to boot he’d never know. But he’d never let you go.

He had seen the signs of abuse in your body language. The way you flinched or pulled back when people go loud or something moved towards you too fast. He never pushed you to tell him feeling that you would tell him when you felt it was right. He did not expect it to be something he found out by experience then words. But he saw red.

Putting himself between you and the family member he exploded. Yelling at them various insults and belittling their choices for harming ‘someone so perfect.’ Once that is put of his system he escorts you away to stay the night with him.  He smarter then to just kill them off there or kidnap you directly.

Over the course of the next week you spend more time at his home, he hardly seems to leave your side. At the end of the week ot happens. While the two of you are watching the tv you get a call. Your family was gone. A car wreck they where tboned by a drunk driver. As soon as you hang up Prosciutto is beside you holding you promising to stay by your side through all of this. Internally he gloated you where safe from them now and all his. After all who else did you have but him now? No one. He looks as distraught as you do on the outside. “I’m so sorry my love, if you need anything I will give it to you.”

(Bruh you are talking my language. Yandere pillar men are my jam. Before I put any hcs down have a wee ramble. So I can see all the pillar men being yanderes just diffrent types. They’ve lived so long, seen so much come and go that once they have something or someone they like they hoard them like a dragon so to speak. Now Santana is a very calm yandere compared to his breathren the second being Wamuu, Kars and Esidisi are the yanderes you don’t want to be on your trail. Or if you me you wouldn’t mind the blind love based devotion leaving no room to question if they care… but even then onlu fictionally. No irl yanderes pls)

-Is somehow both highkey and lowkey yandere.  He won’t kidnap you or blackmail you or do any violence towards you but he stalks. And it’s blatant stalking. He will walk beside you and follow you around even if you tell him to leave. He shows his strength off so you know not to tell him to leave again woth out the use of words.

-Tends to be yandere towards softer more gentle mom like friends. Note friends this does not mean female he doesn’t give two shits about gender.  The reason he is more yandere towards people like that is simple, he’s never had someone soft to care for him someone who truly cared and needs him. They need protection and he will give it.

-He will put up with you fighting against him, yelling, or even ignoring him. So long as you are near him. If you ever try to leave he absorbs you so you will be with him always. Don’t run. This is the closest to violence towards you he gets, lucky for runners it supposedly feels good to be absorbed by a pillar man. (If I understood the scene properly)

-Takes no shit from anyone when it comes to you. Anyone gets in the way they’re dead. Someone upsets you they’re dead, depends in how bad they upset you on how fast and painless he’ll make it. You show too much intrest in anyone but him they’re dead, yes this includes family and kids, lord help anyone you decide to crush on or have an attraction to.

Kars:

- His hyperfocusing, see what I want and take it attitude definitly carries on to his yandere side. If anything it makes him worse.

-At first who ever he takes is treated as a pet, a follower and whorshiper. And so long as they behaive and don’t pull off the collar and chain he uses to keep them by his side he’ll treat them well. Much like a song bird in a gilded cage.

-If they do misbehaive he is quick to punish them remind them who their god is. Punishments are usually them being smacked around and locked up, isolated to the point it’s unbearable. He wants to be quick in training his pet.

-Now when the pet turns to this is my mate things change. He keeps them by his side still but no longer by chain. Though the collar remains. He does still enjoy feeling ownership of them.

-They have stricter rules on them but the punishments are now diffrent. The beatings aren’t a thing anymoren he doesn’t isolated them from him everyone else yes. He does leave marks in a more hickey this is mine way. Signs for others to back off.

-The rules he gives are strick to uphold his mate’s apperence of a better being. They can not talk to anyone in public unless they are punishing them (ie sentencing the person). At home they may only talk to those he approves of (wamuu and esidisi and ofc himself). They must stand proudly and carry themselves in a way that shows they are better then the rabble. Which he chose them so they are.

-Prefers they stay home under his watch or Wamuu’s. (If this is in a time he has control like a god again they become like a cryptid god/goddess rumor. Kars is pleased by that.)

-He does use the mask on them, he will not loose his mate to the fragility of humanity. He may even try to find a way to furthur them into a pillarperson as well. (It’s jjba you never know he might find a way)

  -He didn't think much of you at first. After all he had a lot more to focus on being champion. 

  -But as fate would have it he runs into you a lot. He goes so far as to make a joke about you stalking him; still he invites you to join him for a drink at a cafe since more likely than not you helped him when he was lost a few times. 

  -The more time he spends with you the more his interest grows. He likes to in private challenge you for spars and when you fail he takes you out to 'cheer you back up'. He never wants to be the one to make you sad. 

  -This is where things go downhill. Remember that stalking joke? Well now it holds merit only it's him doing the stalking. It isn't super obvious at first, he always seems to have a reason to be where you end up. 

  -He starts taking up more of your time and dragging you around places. Until it gets to the point that you have barely any time to challenge a gym. 

  -So you end up snapping at him. He only shows his hurt for a second before giving a sad smile. A look that pools guilt in your gut. 

  -He leaves before you can apologize. But what you don't know is he is planning something. 

  -Three weeks later you haven't seen him but for some stupid reason you have been disqualified, for cheating no less! Supposedly you bribed your way to gym leaders. 

  -You are heat broken. And guess who shows up to pick up the pieces? Leon of course. 

  -He's so sweet as he holds your crying form and listens to you vent. Once you calm down he takes you out for some spoiling. 

  -"Why not? You need a nice time and to get your mind off things." 

  -All in all he is a soft yandere who is more likely to manipulate you emotionally to keep you with him than use any violence or such. 

  -He is usually behind the bad things in your life that happen and while you are unaware of that uses it to manipulate you more. 

  -Not particularly jealous on the outside when you talk to others but that night when its just the two of you he'll show his jealousy in the form of rough intercourse. 

  -Keeps tabs on you whenever you are away from him. Which is rare as hell but still thanks to his duties it does happen. 

  -Will low-key threaten anyone who tries to come between you but the insinuation is enough to scare most off and the ones that don't well he has more then enough pull to ruin their lives and force them to move for a fresh start. 

  -Will be violent to those who hurt you.

  -You most likely meet over social media. Aside from his main accounts he does have one where he hides who he is simply so he can experience some semblance of life before his gym leader days. He likes his current life just sometimes it's fun to be a normal guy. 

  -The supportive friend who always promises to beat up people who upset you. 

  -Lots of stupid pokemon pictures shared between you. Bonus points if you have a dragon type. 

  -Somewhere between the memes and pictures and late night talks you two end up dating. You are from a different region which kinda bums him out but it let him promise you a vacation when you guys met in person. 

  -It all seems super normal, but our dear feral man has plans. Much like a dragon he hoards things important to him and you have become his biggest treasure. He hadn't even met you in person yet; so obviously you must be perfect to win him over so strongly. 

  -Everything goes to hell once you are on galarian soil. All your pokemon are unallowed thanks to customs which leaves you feeling naked and vulnerable. "Don't worry babe I'll protect you." 

 -He took it so much further than that. You weren't allowed anywhere without him, "What if you get lost?" "What if you get attacked?" "I thought you came here to see me?" It's not horrible and you think he has a point. 

  - When ever someone makes a move on you his arm is around you waist and he smiles at the other person. His eyes sharp and calculating with his sharp fangs showing in a toothy smile promising pain. 

  -Plays dumb when the new friend runs might claim he was just intimidating because of his status of gym leader. 

  -More likely then not he will track that fool down later after those sedatives in your drink from dinner knock you out. Cant have his princess waking up all alone so he makes this fast. 

  -The news next morning talk of a mangled corpse found just out of town the wounds indicating a wild possibly feral pokemon. 

  -More and more attacks and more and more ways for him to keep you at his side "Just in case" 

  -Then it happens, time for you to leave and go home until the next visit. He begs you to stay promises you the world. But you still try to leave which is something he can't allow. 

  -His hand grips your wrist painfully hard, "It didn't have to come to this." He almost felt bad knocking you out. Still his well prepared and hidden 'den' he prepared for you was ready. 

  -You wake up in an unknown location with dim lighting and feel Raihan's arms around you and something heavy on your ankle. 

  -Maybe if you're good or develope stockholm syndrome he might might let you come back out as his little trophy wife.
