Hi, i'm Airan and i'm your local angelic cryptid that runs around playing with cats and collects feathers. My pronouns are they/them, i'm 18, i'm a confused art student and people can contect me at any time dms are open.

i would say im otherkin, but i'm still figuring that out. i just have been unsing the nonhuman label by now.

i'm also neurodivergent and I don’t really understand sarcasm very often and some jokes also, so don’t hope I don’t bother if I ask to explain what you’re saying.

As a Nonbinary person I’d like to bring a little positivity to y’all.

Nonbinary people with an hourglass figure they are proud of are valid!

Chubby(or even fat) Nonbinary people are valid

Nonbinary people with a beard and moustache they groom and care for are valid!

Nonbinary people with little to no body dysphoria are valid!

Nonbinary people who don’t bind or tuck(be it by choice or because they can’t) are valid! Those who do bind or tuck are also valid!

Nonbinary people with top dysphoria but no bottom dysphoria are valid.

Nonbinary people who want to ho through with HRT are completely valid and so are the ones who don’t want to or can’t!

Nonbinary people who will never medically transition to any point are valid.

Nonbinary people of colour are valid.

Masculine Nonbinary people are valid.

He/Him and She/Her Nonbinary people are valid

He/She Nonbinaries are valid.

It/Its pronouns are valid and perfectly acceptable!

Keeping your birth name as a Nonbinary person is absolutely valid, even if it’s a gendered name.

Naming yourself after a fictional character or an item is also very valid!

Don’t tear each other down for not being perfectly androgynous or not fitting into tiny boxes! Being Nonbinary simply means you’re not on the gender binary (or on both ends of the binary simultaneously) and any and all flavours of Nonbinary are valid! You’re doing great no matter where you stand!

I can feel myself changing this time. And this time I’m not scared of it. I feel it, I feel myself, I feel who I’m meant to be in this life more the past couple of days. It makes me emotional, it makes me wanna cry. But I feel the need to cry because I’m not scared. And I’m proud of myself for that. I’m so frikkin proud of it.

Humans are so weird.

I observe them everywhere I go, moving seamlessly through crowds

Wearing their faces and skin like a costume

Throughout everyday life I am watching curiously

How they go about their lives

And how little I know of them

How they interact with different environments and different people

I never quite know what to make of them

My mind flits between awe and disdain

"They are brilliant", "They are stupid", "They are incredible", "They are weak."

Humanity is much too vast for one label, one opinion.

I may not understand them but I study them regardless

Pulling the mask over my true face once more as I blend into the masses

I know “I miss my wings” posts are kind of overdone on here but I do think 90% of my problems would be cured if I simply had some fluffy feathered wings that could carry me long distances yknow

Tips for cat/felinekin!!!

These are for anyone who has a feline kin type, from lions to mythical catlike creatures!

Tip 1

Rest somewhere high up, like on a tree or even just in your bed. Cats like places that are high of the ground.

Tip 2

put things into a box that remind you of your kin type. or, you could even make a Pinterest board or a collage of some sorts of images that remind you of your kin type. be creative!

Tip 3

if your kin type is domestic, you could make treats. things like little cookies or biscuits. or maybe just cereal as kibble.

Tip 4

listen to music made for cats!

Tip 5

maybe watch one of those videos where they attach a camera to a cat and see what they do.

Even the most wildest, most ferocious of animals groom themselves. They bathe, drink water between meals, clean their teeth, nap, etc.. Make sure to make time for yourself before you exert yourself.
