“I know, but this way is so much easier. Less work.” Why fight their way through with flirting or fake I.D.’s when all they had to do was flash a smile and it’d be okay? Plus Raven said this club was amazing and the brunette was usually pretty good at picking places to go out too. At her word Clarke placed a hand over her heart. “Oh Tavia, you sure know a way to a women’s heart. I’m melting.” she said with a soft sigh before she chuckled as she was practically dragged behind O as she moved. “Someones a bit eager.” She said with an amused glint in her eyes.
Taking the lead she glanced briefly at the street signs before she gave a gentle tug on their linked hands and lead the way to the club. As they got closer Clarke could make out the name in bright neon colors, the base of whatever song was playing could be heard louder and louder as they approached. Casting a brief glance at Octavia she gave her an encouraging smile before she lead the way to the building and inside.
Octavia rolled her eyes and ignored the way Clarke’s own held a glint of amusement. She also ignored the way they shown under the lights of downtown DC, but that was a whole other accomplishment in its own. Her best friend was pretty, sure, and she had killer eyes. Appreciating is normal, especially when you’ve just had your heartbroken and are now spending hours alone when you used to rarely have alone time. Get it together, Blake. “Just looking forward to getting back to my blanket,” She teased, hearing the bass of the club beat loudly on the sidewalks and brick buildings around them. “Don’t let it go to your head.” Following Clarke with a reluctant glance, they headed inside the only metal building in a sea full of brick and concrete.
