tell me why tf i find michael jackson smut being the first thing I see when I type “Michael Jackson” or any other idol when I’m trying to search for art of said idol.

Don’t get me wrong, smut isn’t the issue. It’s who you involve in the smut is the problem in my opinion. Now, I know you can say “just block them” and you would be right in thinking so! The main issue? MAJORITY OF THE SEARCH IS OF SMUT OF A REAL PERSON.

i don’t know if it’s just me but I find that to be very parasocial in my opinion. You do you at the end of the day but don’t you wanna have some second thoughts on it? Like doesn’t it feel creepy when fanfic is made of you? Other examples include Bad Bunny fanfic, Katseye fanfic, and more. I think many people are forgetting one crucial detail: they are real people and can get uncomfortable. With MJ, I don’t think he can do much as he’s been gone for 17 years now. But idols have feelings too. If you like those fanfics, good for you. Just don’t try to act like that IRL nor interact with me.

whenever i post something that’s of a popular fandom, more than 5 people favorite it. But when I post something I genuinely feel like posting to everyone, suddenly the same people who favorited my Hamilton work for example vanish. Like- WHAT??
