Recently I bought a few of these and I wish I had waited. This little suckers are normally $30. A bit pricey to try something out, but that’s what I do. Another thing I do is lose shit. I have lost so much gear while using it in my EDC, that I have tried a few of these tracker type devices. Ankr doesn't work with Android, and Tile is limited in use. These things don't only keep track of your goods, but they also let you find your phone if that’s what got lost.
What if it didn't get lost? What if it got stolen? Well, these (as you see) quarter sized trackers also work off crowd GPS. So if the network grows large enough it will feed off other people and keep track of your belongings indefinitely.
