A little initiative can go a very long long way [part 1] | Dr. Stone
Based off this request!!
Pairing: Magma x F!reader x Kinro
a/n: wrote this listening to a man's best friend by Sabrina, this is a small series, like 4 parts, not proofread!!
Tags: reader has some inappropriate thoughts about magma and kinro, Kinro and reader fall first magma falls harder, the three are stupid and hopeless
Summary: senku believes his sister must have a loose screw, out of everyone in the kingdom of science, she falls forβmagma??? and Kinro??
"Honestly, I want to find a guy that's smart, but not crazy smart like you because out of the two of us, I'm the prettier and normal one."
Senku looks over his sister that's barely older than him by two years, she's a senior while he's a sophomore.
She was on her phone, scrolling through social media as she leans up against the table near the window, she had just gotten her nails done yesterday after dragging him to a salon after school.
"...wouldn't say normal to be exact." He mutters as she gasps, looking at him offended.
"You love science more than anything else! How many girls confessed to you this year and you rejected them like it was an everyday occurrence?!"
He shrugs his shoulders, looking bored.
"Well, it's so hard finding a boyfriend these days, not that I have ever found one because you always scare them off!!" She points at him scowling.
Senku avoids her furious stare, "...me? Scare other guys? I would never, not interested in love." He clears his throat when she leans in to glare at him.
"...well, maybe that one guy from your homeroom and the other two from down the hall..." he trails off as she huffs.
Resting her cheek against the palm of her hand as she stares outside.
"...maybe two boyfriends would be nice.."
Senku chokes at this, looking at her in disbelief.
She looks back at him, grinning mischievously, ruby eyes twinkling, "what? Can't a girl dream? Besides, that will never happen."
Before Senku could say anything else, Taiju barges into the science room, yelling at the top of his lungs.
And soon after, a green light came into view as Taiju was in the middle of confessing to Yuzuriha outside near the big tree.
Everything was dark and quiet, [Name] never once experience a silence this loud, Senku would always talk her ear off and it was strange not hearing him.
She wonders if this was death, she hopes at least Senku is safe before losing consciousness.
Waking up 3700+ years later made your head spin, the clothes were definitely not your style since Senku made them himself.
"...maybe he won't care if I alter them just a little bit..?" You mumbles as you hold the dress up to your naked body, the dress was too long. It goes all the way down past your knees and knowing Senku's plan to revive humanity, moving around in this is gonna be a pain.
After an hour, you finally finish altering the dress but maybe you cut the skirt a bit too short since it kept sliding up everytime you walked. Plus you gave the dress a open slit on the back that goes dangerous low, showing off the skin on your back.
"Oh well." You shrug your shoulders, putting the item you used to cut the dress and walking outside Chrome's hut. "I'm the older one so he has no say in how I dress." Mumbling under your breathe as you reach the ground underneath.
So long story short, from when you were revived, Senku, Kohaku, Kinro were going to enter this fighting thing, not you remember the exact details.....but apparently the winner gets to marry Kohaku's older sister. So she was probably around your age.
Humming to yourself, you wonder if Senku would fight like Kohaku would to make sure you wouldn't have to marry a complete stranger. Shrugging while shaking your head, you continue walking over to everyone else was.
"There's no way you two are siblings." Kohaku says as you sat down next to Kinro who tensed up next to you as you smile at her.
"What makes you think that?"
She stares at you then Senku, "...you don't have crazy hair like him but your eyes are the same color." She points outs.
"I actually inherited our mother's genes more, before they passed, our father would say I looked just like her."
Senku nods at this, continuing to eat his dinner as Suika giggles. "I can totally see that! Senku is the smart sibling and you're the pretty one!"
You laugh at this, "and Suika is the cutest one in the village." Adding to her words.
Soon enough, the fire slowly burnt out and one by one, everyone went their separate ways to end to bed.
Staring up at the stars, you soon realize that it was just you and Kinro still there. He was quiet, a hand on his spare as he looks at the burnt wood in front of you.
"...Kinro, right?" You call out quietly.
He blinks upon hearing his name, "oh, yes. [Name]. Am I saying it right?" Kinro asks as you grin back at him, hugging your knees to your chest.
"Yup! You know you don't have to stay here, my little brother must be making you and your brother work to death so you must be tired."
Kinro stares at you, "...you and Senku might be like Ginro and I, siblings but entirely different personality wise. You're outgoing and positive, he's all about sorcery and smart."
"Science." You correct him.
"...right, science." He corrects himself as he sighs, closing his eyes only to open them to see that you had lean in close to his face, pouting.
"I can be smart too! My little brother might be the next Einstein of this new world but I spent all my life helping him with his projects to not at least be considered smart. I practically soaked up his knowledge."
His face flushes at your proximity, his eyes staring into yours. His lips open slightly, mutters to youβ"your eyes, they have a hint of [E/C] in them."
Blinking at this, you look at him surpised before realizing that you were so close to him.
"A-anyways! It's getting late, you're gonna fight in the grand thing or something so you should get some sleep!" You jump to your feet, waving at him frantically before running off to where Senku was sleeping in. He was laying on the floor, luckily he knew how much his own sister would complain about sleeping on the hard surface so he made sure to make some pillows.
"Good night, Senku." You mumbles tiredly
"Night."
And after a good silence just as he was about to dozed off, he heard you mumbles something sleepily.
"....you think Byakuya is okay?"
@frootloopscos I decided to make your request into a mini series! Gotta make up for taking a year into writing your request!
How would Magma and Kinro (separate or poly π€) react to a modern day reader (maybe Senkuβs sibling or smth) getting kidnapped by the enemy? Maybe itβs during treasure island and ibara holds reader hostage or during America arc and reader went with Gen.
I KNOW ITβS ODD TO REQUEST SOMETHING FOR MAGMA BUT IβM TIRED OF PRETENDING HEβS NOT ATTRACTIVE
literally a year after getting this request before I left tumblr, I see the potential of Magma now π«ͺ like...
anyways, I like to think Senku's sibling would be the opposite of him personality wise. Like imagine a reader who's has a solid sense of self love/romance wise as well! Unlike Senku who pushes love at the bottom of his list to restore humanity, his sibling is the opposite but as the same great mental fortitude in stressful situations etc!!
I'll finally be cooking this one up cuz I find Magma hell fine now, just something about him bro πββοΈ

ཻུβΈΝ summary; after the sneak attack at camp, everyone is uneasy, Jim and Amy were some of the casualties and it was only a matter of time until they turn
"This way."
A camera flashes on your left, posing with confidence you turn your head to the side as your eyes held that look the director was looking for.
Daryl stood in the corner of the large room, biting the side of his thumbΒ his eyes glued onto your before he avoids looking up once you changed into the next clothes for the summer edition.
He felt so uncomfortable being around people who probably thought he was some random guy trying to act like one of the city people. Wanting nothing more than to get out and back into the town where he belonged but he was doing all this for you.
Knew that your work was extremely important to you so he tried to be super supportive as possible but he just wasn't built for the city and it's city people.
Daryl didn't even know the session wrapped up since he was so deep in thought until he felt someone tapping his shoulder.
"Daryl?"
Your voice brought him back to the present and he looks over at you. "Day's done. We can go home." He nods, following you back to your dressing room quietly.
"There's been rumors of a new disease or something." You says, stepping behind the changing rack as he stands at the door.
"I dunno much but I hope it doesn't become too seriousβoh, I'll be getting some copies of the photoshoot first like usual." Daryl nods, keeping quiet and you frowning. Knowing he got this quiet when he got a little overwhelmed by everything.
Quickly changing back to your clothes and grabbing your things, the two of you leave the building.
Walking down into the busy streets of Atlanta, you almost bumped into a little girl who was walking with her parents.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there sweetheart." Smiling down her while stepping aside. Her father smiles, "sorry about that. We weren't paying attention either." Her mother says.
Smiling at them, you and Daryl continue walking once confirming the little girl wasn't hurt. He opened the door to the passenger seat, waiting for you to get in before closing it behind you.
He sighs in relief once he got in the truck, "that always take that damn long?" Daryl turns on the truck, pulling in reverse and into the street.
"Hm, it would've taken longer but we had a headstart for the summer magazine a couple weeks ago." You explain, looking out the window before digging into his truck's glove box where your makeup wipes were in.
Taking out the small mirror that Daryl had given you at the start of your career, starting to clean your face when he suddenly brakes which makes you surpised at the sudden stop. Looking up, he starts to curse the other driver before continuing driving.
"Idiots don't know how to drive." He mumbles under his breathe. Neither of you noticed a person acting strange on the sidewalk, hunched over and twitching violently.
Staring at Andrea, your eyes flicker to Amy who still hadn't moved, the illness probably hadn't taken over yet. Lori walks over to her, kneeling down and speaking a few words you couldn't hear from where you were sitting.
"Hasn't moved all night." Daryl comments as he walks by with a pickaxe, glancing over at you sitting besides Carol as the men of the camp are busy burning the undead.
"Hm. It's her sister. If i was in her shoes, I would be the same over my little brother."
Carol looks over at you, patting your knee as you sigh. You couldn't get much sleep after what happened last night, unsure if another round of the dead would sneak up on the group again.
"You have a brother?" She asks softly.
Nodding your head at this, you hum quietly. "Yes, we're a couple years apart like Andrea and Amy were. He's turned 16 a month ago, just before this whole thing started."
Turning your full attention to Carol, her hands grasps yours, her hands trembling as you kept speaking. "He was on his way to our aunt's place, no idea if his flight even landed there."
She opens her mouth to speak when Daryl suddenly speaks up to Rick and the others watching Andrea.
"Y'all can't be serious." He gestures his hand to the girls next to the R.V. drenched in sweat, everyone is underneath Atlanta's sun. "Let that girl hamstring us? The dead girl a time bomb."
"Daryl."
"Seriously." He looks down at you, frowning, his fingers gripping the pickaxe more.
"What do you suggest?" Rick asks him as he looks at the sheriff before walking forward.
"Take the shot. I ain't taking risks of a dead girl being a danger to us." He shifts his feet impatiently, Carol catches this, smiling softly as her hands squeezes yours. "Clean, in the brain from here. Hell, me or [Name] can hit a turkey between the eyes from this distance. If you can't, we willβ"
"No," Lori interrupts before sitting down, her eyes lingering ahead as Daryl spins around quickly at this, "for God's sakes, let her be."
No one else says anything else and he scoffs, grabbing your arm and pulling you along with him. He wasn't taking no risks of you being near what he considers a time bomb waiting to go off.
"I can help." You say but he shakes his head at this
"Nah." Walking over to Morales, passing Jim who seems to be distracted perks up at this. Looks at the two of you, "only get your hands dirty."
Helping Morales with a body of someone who was once apart of the group, Glenn watches them, tilting his head slighty as you take his side, acknowledging your presence.
Glancing at Jim, he catches your eye before looking away and you couldn't help but noticed how he looked a little jumpy, anxious, sweaty nervously. Deciding to go to him, Glenn's voice brings you back from your thoughts.
"We don't burn them! We bury them."
"I agree." You say which makes Daryl give you a look of disbelief for even agreeing to Glenn's nonsense. "After all we've been though, we should at least keep our humanity, for our sanity."
Daryl sighs, he and Morales pick the body up and pull it towards the role of people of their group deceased.
Deciding he had enough, he huffs away, shouting something about the group having this coming for leaving Merle behind.
Walking over to Jim, you offer to help and he chuckles quietly, catching his breathe as he looks at you, really looks at you.
"....I don't think we have another pair of gloves for you..."
He says as you shrug your shoulders at bit. "It's alright, I can still help."
He shakes his head before glancing over at Daryl, "don't think he'll appreciate if I let you touch the bodies without gloves, you could get infected."
Ignoring his warning, you bend down to pull at a undead, "I wouldn't think much of it, maybe we're already infected or something."
He bends down beside you, humming, "maybe...or maybe not."
Jim is quiet for a bit, debating if he should say what was on his mind.
Noticing this, you bumped your shoulder with his and he winces slightly. "What is it?" He pauses before looking down, "my family...before this all started, we were actually on our planned vacation here in Atlanta. My girls wanted to meet someone they looked up to..."
Nodding at him to continue, he does, "...so my wife and I surpised them to a trip to the city and on the day of the surpise...that's when they..." he trails off and you could figure what happened next.
"...I'm sorry to hear that...did they ever meet the person they looked up too?" You asks as he shakes his head. "No, they didn't...but I have." He looks at you and before either of you could say anything else, Jacqui joins you two and bends down to help with the body.
Before she looks at him, noticing how heavy he was breathing, her eyes looking over him before she pauses.
"Are you bleeding?" She asks as Jim shakes his head, "i just got some on me from the bodies." You look over at him as well as Jacqui stares at the blood on his shirt.
"That blood is fresh. Were you bit?"
"No. I just got scratched during the attack."
She stands up immediately, looking at him as she backs away, which makes him freeze and glances at you. "You got bit?"
"I'm fine." He insists but this only makes her more suspicious.
"Jim, just show us. We just want to make sure you're okay." You stand up straight as he looks at you two before he lowers his voice, pleading with the both of you.
"Don't tell, please." He whispers and before you could even think of what to do about this, Jacqui backs off again and shouts loudly enough for everyone to become alert.
"A walker got him. A walker bit Jim!"
The men immediately surround Jim as he panics, looking around to see everyone staring at him and he makes eye contact with you, shaking his head.
T-Dog holds him down as soon as Jim grabbed ahold of a shovel as a weapon which Daryl quickly snatches away before lifting up his shirt, exposing the bite on his side while Jim keeps repeating that he's okay. Like if he kept saying it, he'll actually believe it.
T-Dog and Daryl quickly back off as Jim licks his lips, everyone else is now teased up, staring at Jim as there was a moment he would pounce of them.
"Hm, yeah we could do that session and the one scheduled next week as well." [Name] speaks over the phone, looking out the window as Daryl walks into the house and he kicks off his shoes but not without fixing them by the door. A habit he's picked up from living with the [H/C] haired.
"βplanning on having some lunch with my aunt in a couple days...that's why I want to finish these two important photo-shoots so I'm clear minded with her."
Daryl walks over to the kitchen, grabbing a beer before plopping down on the couch and turning on the TV.Β
"Not sure if she's gonna bail out on me again, always something going on in our family estate."
He looks to the side at this, settling down more before [Name] finishes up her phone call.

Summary: after a year of her disappearance, Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha find a lead that places them in an illegal ring that's making zombies performance for crowds who find pleasure in it or rather, instead of the petrification beam happening, a deadly disease hits humanity that's making people into zombies
The sounds of men screaming, fangirling as two idols come onto the stage, the lights making it difficult to make out their bodies, and they scream even louder, Senku couldn't even imagine if the zombies on the other side of the tent could horde against the walls of this place.
This underground area where an illegal ring is happening.
He's heard of it through the internet, maybe a couple of people whisper about it with a sickening grin on their faces.
Now, he, Taiju and Yuzuriha stood in the crowd of fans, holding light sticks and chanting out their favorite idol. Yuzuriha glances around, concerned written all over her face.
A soft, angelic voice sings out from the darkness;
'Those bound by iron chains now"
She looks over at them, "β¦aren't they worried the infected could overrun this place?" Taiju sighs at this, looking a bit pale.
Even he had a difficult time maintaining any hope that the rumor they were chasing was just that, a rumor.
"β¦this is the best place for a lead we've gotten in a year."
Senku nods, the same angelic voice continues;
"They still stare toward the night"
He catches one of the idols twitch slightly, fingers swaying lifeless.
"..we gather what we can, no unnecessary actions. We watch the show and leave quietly." Taiju and Yuzuriha nod at him.
"Wounded souls still breathing"
Yuzuriha carefully takes out a small camera he built specifically for this. If they were caught recording something this illegal that even the government knows about yet rather then doing anything, they let it happen for profit.
"We ran if we have too, you two have the exits memorized?" Senku asks his best friends who nod, looking determined.
"Glory be upon them"
The spotlight beams on the idols, who clearly have years of infection on their bodies. The three of them have a pale expression on their faces as they stare at a familiar figure on the stage.
She had a big smile, the side of her mouth was exposed, showing the inside of her cheek and teeth, shoulder black and dried blood.
What was worse that it had consumed half of her face. She was smiling like nothing was wrong, arms spread in the air.
Senku thinks back at why they're here in the first place. He grimaces at the sight in front of him as the men in the crowd cry out in pleasure in excitement.
They had an argument, the three of them and her.
It ended with Senku slapping a cigarette out of her hands, saying something about it not being good for her health. In which, she simply stared back at him before a loud slap echoed on the sidewalk they were standing.
They argued for a bit, trying to reason with her yet she remained cold, she had changed drastically in their eyes. The old her would never resort to cigarettes and alcohol as a stress reliever.
Taiju tried reasoning but she stared at him, he was someone she had considered a little brother since she was a year older than them.
She turned her body away from them, stating that they would never understand.
Yuzuriha teared up, wrapped her arms around waist that she could feel was thinner nowadays. The older girl's eyes grimaces at this, frozen at her embrace before pushing her off.
More words were said, regrets from both sides.
Before she ran off into an alleyway.
That was the last time they saw her.
Senku stares at the slowly decaying girl on the stage, dancing and singing cheerfully. He doesn't know the other infected preforming with her.
The lights flicker with the rhythm of the singing, the crowd continues to scream in delight.
The three of them watch in disgust.
She dances and prances herself on the stage, her dress barely covering her chest as the choreograph makes the attention focus on her assets that seem to pleasure the crowd as they roar.
A whole 5 minutes of this performance goes on, she won as the loser gets a body part cut off with a saw.
He watches as she stands near by, he knows from how long the infection is, she can't see anything.
"hopping little bunny"
She's humming that lullaby as they prepare to punish the loser.
"where are you going, are you going to the forest?"
She sings absent-mindlessly, head tilted to the side, mouth stuck in that forever frozen grin of hers.
"Hoping on white feet, runs away covered in dirt"
The crowd cheers as the cut off the losers arm, showing off the limb to them. Yuzuriha's face pales as she covers her eyes and Taiju looks away.
Senku continues to watch.
"When I looked behind the little bunny"
Her entire body twitches as she stands there and Senku mutters her name.
"β¦what have they done to you, [Name]?"
"There was nothing"
Her voice dies down before her head snaps in his direction, her mouth twitches. Hands begin to reach towards him before the executioners take ahead of her shoulder, dragging her off the stage just as Senku thinks she may have recognized his voice.
Her mic catches a frightening gasp as she continues to look in his direction as her fingers twitch as if reaching for him.
"..sen.." It was faint but they all saw her mouth form his name.

ཻུβΈΝ summary; daryl watched as you and Glenn got kidnapped by a group of men, now he's determined to get you back in one piece.
"They took [Name]," Daryl says angrily, pacing the room everyone was in as the boy who was with the group that jumped him in the alleyway was sitting in a chair, looking stressed.
"-and Glenn," He adds when he sees T-Dog glance up at him, "Could have taken Merle too."
The boy huffs at this, "Merle? What kind of hick name is that? Wouldn't name my dog Merle." He laughs before getting scared when realizing that this triggered Daryl who lunged at him, trying to kick him in the face as Rick tolds him back.Β
"Damn it, Daryl." The cops says, pushing the man away, "Back off. You beat him, we won't get any information on where Glenn and [Name] are, alright?" Rick tells him as Daryl breathes heavily, his eyes staying glued onto the young man.
"You better pray [Name] doesn't have a scratch on her-" Daryl walks over to Glenn's bag, unwrapping the cloth around Merle's hand. "Or else, I'll cut off your feet next!" He says, throwing the hand onto the young man who screams in panic, throwing the man off his lap and landing onto the ground, back away as Daryl pushes him back into the wall.
"Hey! What the hell did I just tell you?" Rick says, pulling on the archers shirt and pulling him off the boy who looks so scared as he looks up at Rick.
"Look, we just want a calm discussion. The men you were with took our friends, we just want them back." Ricks kneels down.
"...I'll lead you to them." The young man says quietly as he glances at Daryl who was glaring down at him.
Glenn and [Name] share a look as they see all the elder people in the rooms they walk by, "holy shit." She hears Glenn say as an elderly woman smiles up at them.
"Oh, it's you!" She says happily, making the two stop in their tracks, a bit confused at her words. She walks up to [Name] who still that confused expression on her face.
"Excuse me?" She says as the older woman pats her shoulder.
"I was a friend of your grandmother." The elderly woman says, "you used to come visit her a couple years ago." Glenn looks up at the [h/c] haired woman who simply stares down at the elderly before she nods slowly.
"...but you stopped coming after she passed away. Thought you've forgotten about me."
[Name] takes a step back, bumping slightly into Glenn. "Yes, I remember now. I apologize for not coming to see you all ever since her funeral, I just got consumed by grief and the preparations." Glenn gently places his hand on her back to stabilize her, she flinches slighty at this, stepping away from him.
Glenn walks a little ahead, looking around the place and notes that it's mainly elderly people, so it must be a nursing home.
"My mother, has she spoken to you before all this?" [Name] asks, sitting down to speak with her grandmother's friend.
She shakes her head, "no, she also stopped coming shortly after as well although I did still got daily postcards in the mail." Watching her stand up slowly, the [h/c] haired woman follows her into her room where a stack of postcards sat on her bedside drawer.
"This was the most recent one from about a month ago," she hands it to the woman who looks it over.
"...yes, this is her writing." [Name] says, fingers gently tracing the elegant cursive writing on the postcard. Carefully reading her writing, she bites her lip, wincing slightly when she forget that her bottom lip was busted from one of her and Glenn's kidnappers hitting her in the face when they struggled in the car.
Ignoring the lingering pain, she continues to read.
Her grandmother's friends watches her silently, watching as a almost saddened expression grows on her face.
"....she mentioned going back to our hometown." Glenn peeks his head in slightly, a smile on his lips but he stops himself, seeing the way [Name]'s shoulders are shrugged and her head downwards as she looks at something in her hands.
"I doubt she made it back home, and she didn't mention my younger brother eitherβ"
"Well, you never know, maybe she's fine and your brother as well!" The older woman tries to keep thinking positive, "here, you can keep the postcards she sent. I'm sure you miss your mother."
Accepting the cards, [Name] puts them in her backpocket since she had left her bag behind when they got jumped in the alleyway so she figured Daryl just have it with him.
"Hey [Name], there's a guy saying he knows you." Glenn says, getting her attention. "Or something."
Following Glenn out of the room and into what seems like a small auditorium with a couple round tables and chairs. Other elderly people occupying them as they spoke among themselves.
"Mr. Gilbert." [Name] smiles at the older man who smiles back at the sight of her.
"[Name], it's so good to see you. I'm so relieved to see you alive and well." He says as his hands reaches out and grips her hand gently. "It's been so long since you've come to visit us."
"It's been only four years since my grandmother passed away." [Name] says to him before Glenn sends her a look.
He couldn't help but think of how [Name] knows some of the elderly here, they all seemed so happy to see her so he can't think much of it.
As the two talk among themselves about the past and how things have been, Mr. Gilbert suddenly brings up a certain redneck.
"Is Daryl not with you? It's strange to see you without him since he's always hovering around you." Mr. Gilbert asks the woman who shakes her head, gently patting his hand. "Actually speaking of Daryl," he smiles big, laughing, "tell me dear, did you two finally tie the knot?"
Glenn smirks at this, sitting back a smile when he sees [Name] freezes up slightly, looking a little bashful at his words.
"Was it Daryl who proposed or was it you?"
Glenn bursted into laughter, he liked Mr. Gilbert already.
"Mr. Gilbert, please...." [Name] groans quietly, rubbing her face to hide her embarrassment at his words.
"Tell this old man that I don't have to watch you two continue toβ" Mr. Gilbert continues to laugh happily before he stops, holding his chest, struggling to breathe all of a sudden.
Without hesitation, [Name] quickly looks around for his Inhaler but doesn't see it anywhere. The other people around surround Mr. Gilbert, trying to calm down his panic gasps while trying to find his inhaler. An elderly woman quickly walks out the building, mumbling about looking for her grandson.
Daryl quickly follows behind Rick, gripping onto his crossbow tightly, looking around for the familiar [H/c] hair in the crowd of people. No one saw her with Glenn when they held the poor young man on the rootop, tape on his mouth as they threaten to throw him off the roof if given the command for their leader.
His eyes immediately spot the familiar woman kneeling beside the old man who was being consoled to breathing slowly by Felipe, giving him his inhaler.
"Just breathe and let it out." She spoke softly, rubbing his back as the inhaler gave a off a quiet hiss. "Mr. Gilbert, you really need to stop speaking so fast. It always triggers your asthma."
Daryl takes a step forward as Rick looks over at Glenn who was watching the scene.
"What the hell is this?" The cop says before Glenn looks back, arms crossed.
"Asthma attack. Couldn't get his breathe all of a sudden when he and [Name] were catching up." Daryl pushes past Glenn and T-Dog who continue to talk.
"I thought you were being eaten by dogs, man!" T-Dogs huffs, the adrenaline of almost going to war with the vatos finally wears off, sweating profusely as he looks at Glenn.
Glenn simply looks back at the three, small chihuahuas who adorably bark, tails wagging as they look up at them.
"Those dogs?" He points, smiling.
Daryl immediately tugs [Name] to his side as she stands up to greet him, his hand gripping her shoulder as they speak among themselves.
"Daryl." She says, relieved at the sight of him. He doesn't say anything but the way his hand was squeezing her shoulder meant he was glad to see she was okay.
"Who the hell did this to you, huh?" He huffs, tilting her head up as he thumps gently traces the bottom of her lip that was busted slighty, dried blood as she winces.Β
Rick's voice is heard in the background, "could I have a word with you?" He pulls Guillermo to the side, "you are the most dumbest son of a bitch I ever met. We walked in there ready to kill every last one of you." T-Dog turns, listening to their conversation as Glenn watches Daryl pull out a rag, cleaning [Name]'s lip while holding her chin so she wouldn't pull away when she winces at the touch.
"I can patch her up." Felipe offers as Daryl stops to glare at him. "Like hell I'm gonna let you touch her."
"Daryl, pleaseβ" The woman tries to argue with him but he gives her a look and she sighs quietly. "You beat her and Glenn, now you decide you wanna patch the wounds ya'll did?" Daryl angrily huffs at the man who puts his hands up and steps back, "I'll bring a first aid kit."
He walks off and Daryl continues to clean [Name]'s face, his touch tense.
While the two do that, Rick, T-Dog, Glenn and Guillermo went into a room to take in private while Daryl and [Name] asked Glenn to inform them about it later.
"Ouch." [Name] winces slighty as Daryl touchs her face with a bit more force.
"Stop moving, woman." He mumbles.
"Well, stop being so rough." She says back, wincing once again as Daryl finishes up, carefully putting a couple steri-strips on her lips while ignoring her wincing and whining.
After Rick and Guillermo discuss a couple things, Daryl watches as [Name] spoke with the two familiar old people he's seen when he used to accompany her to see her grandmother years ago. Biting his thumb, he remembers her words from a couple minutes ago.
"...Mr. Gilbert, Ms. Riko, Daryl and I are going to leave soon with our group." [Name] spoke softly to them who seemed sadden at the news.
"Can't you stay here?" Mr. Gilbert says quietly, frowning.
She shakes her head, smiling sadly. "I can't, Daryl wouldn't like being copped up inside like this."
The old man looks at where Daryl is standing at and the redneck takes this as a sign to go to [Name]'s side.
"Plus, we have people we've grown to care about. I'm certain that you two will be safe here, Guillermo and his group have a strong determination to keep this place safe and sound." Daryl places a hand on her back, rubbing it softly.
"...and if fate allows it, we'll meet again in the future. I'm certain." The two elderly nod, tears in their eyes from [Name]'s words. They gesture the pair in for a hug, Daryl, hesitating for a moment before looking at [Name] who was looking down while trying to have her hair hide the tears building in her eyes.
Stiff and tense, he embraces the old people who pat his back softly.
"You take good care of your wife, you hear me?" Mr. Gilbert tells Daryl nod glances at [Name] who gives him a look before he nods. Gripping his hand, "course, would die than anything happens to her."
Mr. Gilbert smiles at him, gripping his back with the strength he had.
[Name] and Daryl share a look when Rick called out to them, "alright, let's getting going before it gets dark."
Sharing a final hug with them, [Name] pulls away, quietly thanking Ms. Riko for the postcards from her mother.
Daryl had to practically tug on her hand to get her to walk with them to the exit.
"Come on." He ushers her and looking back one last time, they're given a wave and a tearful smile before the door to the building is closed off behind them with a quiet click.
Walking back to the van in silence was calming, you didn't say much but Glenn had teased Rick about only going back for his hat which Rick smiled, saying not to tell the others.
You were pulled away from your thoughts at Daryl's voice. Looking up, the van you all rode in was gone, Rick said Merle's name.
"...he's gonna bring some vengeance to camp." Daryl spoke quietly before he started to run ahead, his hand gripping yours as you followed him.
Rick, Glenn and T-Dog followed soon after you guys.
Desperately running back to the camp was quite the excerise you needed to clear your mind on the elderly people you left behind.
But you were certain they would be fine where they were at. They had nurses and people who had the man power to protect the weak.
The sun was setting as you caught your breathe, sweat rolling down your face as in the distance, gunshots were heard which made everyone run faster.
Arriving at the camp, no one hesitated on shooting the undead. Sticking near Daryl to watch his back while he watched yours, you continue to kill the undead threatening to eat everyone they could grab.
The chaos ended as soon as it started, the adrenaline wore off and you felt so mentally exhausted as you looked around, spotting Dale and Andrea near Amy who was on the ground, clearly had been bitten on her throat and arm.
You simply watched as Andrea cried for Amy who was looking up at her, scared of what comes next.
No one slept the night, the children where too scared to and their parents made sure they slept inside the RV and everyone one else was too paranoid, waiting for another group of the undead to come out of the woods.
Sitting next to Daryl, head on his shoulder as he gripped his crossbow and your eyes glued onto Amy and Andrea. His hand found yours and gently squeezes it which moves your gaze to his and he had this determined look in his eyes.
"...ain't gonna let that happen to ya." He says in a hushed voice before you bury your head into his chest. "Gonna keep you safe. Promised the old man I would."
Relaxing from his words and touch, you finally let sleep win over take you.
Daryl looks down at you, making sure you were fast asleep before looking at Andrea who was still kneeling beside Amy, her hands gently rubbing her hand. He won't let that happen to you, not now not ever.
Using one of his hands that was free since you were holding onto the other one tightly, he reached into his pocket and pulls out a small polaroid, his eyes trace the picture before glancing at your peaceful face.
Sighing, he looks up at the camp with all the undead corpses and people from their camp that were killed by them.

ཻུβΈΝ summary: after learning that Rick and the others left Merle back in Atlanta, you, Daryl and the others go back into the infected city only to get ambushed
βAuntie [Name]! You looked over at Carl, who ran up to you; Sophia was busy braiding your hair since Carol was busy doing some chores.
βYes, sweetheart?β Smiling at him, he sat down in front of you.
βMy mom told me to stay near you because she went out to the forest again.β He said as you raised a brow, but nodded anyway.
βOf course, how about we play patty cake until Sophia is done braiding my hair?β Carl nods eagerly at this, smiling as you smile back at him.
βI want to play too!β Sophia says.
You laugh at this. βYou'll get your turn, alright?β The little girl nods as she quickly finishes doing the braid, although it's a little messy, you keep the braid for the rest of the day.
When Lori came back, calling for Carl, who waved at you before running to his mom, you told Sophia to get some books so the two of you could read until her mother came back.
After a good hour or two, Sophia fell asleep, her head resting on your lap. That's how Daryl found you; he scoffs at the scene but doesn't say anything once he sees the tiny smile on your lips as you pat Sophia's head.
He went to find Carol; she thanked you for watching her as she walked Sophia back to their tent, the little girl still half asleep as you sighed tiredly.
βCome on, gonna skin some squirrels I got.β He says as you stand up slowly, feeling your legs ache slightly.
Following Daryl, you two sit away from the rest of the people and begin to skin the small prey he hunted that day. Putting aside some meat, you gave the rest to the other women to cook for dinner later.
βWhen do you think Merle is going to come back?β You ask quietly; you two often shared a tent when you didn't want to sleep alone.
βDon't know. He'd better come back in one piece.β He says, lying down beside you, leaving some space in between as you lie there, staring at the roof of the tent that he made sure was warm enough for the night. βWell, he and the others better be back soon, Glenn promised to take me next run.β You say to him, but he shakes his head.
βYou crazy woman, ain't gonna let you go where those geeks are.β He says back after hearing what comes from your mouth.
βCome on, Glenn knows what he's doing. Plus, I can take care of myself.β You say, frustrated, but he lets out a scoff.
βDon't ya remember how I found you?β He says, reminding you as you bury your face in your blanket.
βI already told you I was coming back from a family dinner! A family dinner!β Your voice is muffled but playful as he cracks a tiny smile.
After 30 minutes of you letting out your frustrations of being the babysitter of the group, you fell asleep pretty quickly after he promised to take you hunting tomorrow.
Sitting there in silence, he keeps watch for a bit, glancing down to look at you, your hair braided into a long braid. He's been telling you to cut it short, but you keep refusing to do so even after he explains the dangers to you. You say back that, one, you can take care of yourself, and two, he won't let anything hurt you.
β.....crazy womanβ¦β he mutters to himself, lying down and facing the wall of the tent before going to sleep.
In the morning, he woke up to the sight of you buried in his chest, sleeping peacefully as his arms were wrapped around you protectively. Quickly sitting up, he rubs his face before putting the blanket over you, and he steps out of the tent. The sun wasn't up yet, and Shane was spotted on top of the RV.
β[Name]βs gonna hunt with me today, find another babysitter.β He says, not bothering to hear what he had to say. Getting his things ready, he wakes you up; he has that tiny smile as he watches you watch the sunset once away from everyone else.
The group of men surrounds the dead deer, which had been eaten by a dead person before the sounds of sticks being stepped on made them freeze. Shane and Rick point their guns at the bushes, while the rest nervously hold a weapon in case of any more dead people.
Rick didn't expect to see a man holding a crossbow step out and a woman following closely behind, who was quickly shielded by him, almost alerted by the guns pointed at them.
βSon of a bitch.β The man with the crossbow says, upon seeing the deer on the floor, βThat's our deer.β He says angrily, his hand gripping onto the woman's before letting go once in the clear area.
Rick only watched as she sighed quietly, as Daryl kicked the dead person for eating the deer. She helps him take the arrows out of the deer, asking if he should just cut around the area where it was chewed from.
Which was quickly rejected by Shane. βDamn shame. Got a dozen squirrels, that'll have to do.β He says, before the decapitated head beside his foot moves, making the two women watching gag as they quickly walk away. Rick sees the woman kneeling and stabbing the head with an arrow.
Crossbowman nods slightly, approving of her actions, before he walks past the others while she follows. βIt's gotta be the brain, don't y'all know nothing?β He scoffs as Rick watches the two walk back to camp.
βMerle. Merle! Get your ugly ass out here!β
βHe's probably asleep.β The woman says.
βGonna wake his ass, gotta stew βem up.β The woman laughs a bit at this, but Shane steps up as they both turn around.
βDaryl, [Name], stop for a minute. We gotta talk.β Shane says as the pair stops in their tracks.
[Name] raises a brow at this, sharing a glance with Daryl. βAbout what, Shane?β [Name] asks.
βAbout Merle.β He says as Daryl tenses up. βThere was a problem in Atlanta.β The two froze, and [Name] stepped forward a bit. βWhat happened?β She asks.
βHe dead?β Daryl says.
Shane and Rick share a look as the woman stares at them. βWell, is he or not?β She says, knowing that if they don't answer quickly, Daryl would go apeshit.
βWe're not sure,β Shane says as Rick speaks up, walking to them.
βLook, there's no easy way to say this, so I'll just say it.β [Name] places a hand on Daryl's arm as he huffs in Rick's face.
βWho the hell are you?β
βRick Grimes.β The [h/c] haired woman glances at LorI before Daryl gets into Rick's face. βOkay, Rick Grimes. You got something you wanna tell me?β
βWe handcuffed him to the roof and left him there,β Rick says as Daryl stares back at him for a moment, his eyes tearing up as [Name] quickly goes to him, placing a hand on his shoulder as he wipes his eyes.
βYou left Merle in the city? On the roof when it's 100 degrees out?β She says in disbelief. βHe was a danger to us all.β Rick tried to reason, but was cut off.
βStill, he has family here. Daryl, his brother.β She says that before Daryl throws the squirrels he had tied to a string and throws them at Rick before he lunges at the man, but Shane intervenes; Daryl falls to the ground as he takes out his knife, but Shane quickly holds him down in a chokehold.
Rick squats down and talks to Daryl. βLook, I just want a calm discussion.β
βWhoa! [Name] put the gun down!β Glenn says as the woman points a gun at the back of Rick's head, making Lori call out to her. Shane quickly points his gun at her, only for her to point a second one at him as well.
She signals to Shane to let go of Daryl with a tip of her head, and the two stare at each other before Shane lets go of Daryl. Putting the guns away, she kneels to Daryl as Rick speaks up again.
βYour brother doesn't play well with others. It had to be done or else everyone who was there would've died.β Daryl swats away [Name]'s hand as she checks for any injuries before looking at T-Dog, who speaks up.
βI dropped the key, it's my fault. Dropped it in a drain.β
Daryl stands up, clearly angry and frustrated. βAnd to make you feel better, I chained the door; the geeks can't get in,β T-Dog adds.
Grabbing the [h/c] haired woman by the wrist, he walks away from them. βHell with y'all! I'm going back, just tell me where he is.β He says, his voice breaking.
After Rick says he'll go back to bring Merle back, the two go back to his tent, [Name] starts to pack a few things as Daryl cleans his arrows.
βYou're staying.β He says. βDon't want ya out there with those geeks.β
The woman ignores his words, stands up, and starts to walk out to where everyone is. βYer hear me? You're staying.β
Glenn watches as the two argue, T-Dog beside him. β...don't think I've ever seen she pulled out a gun.β T-Dog sighs. βOrβ¦anything like that.β
βShe's tough, saved my ass out in the forest.β He explains to Glenn, watching as Daryl huffs, clearly frustrated as [Name] climbs into the back of the van.
βWell, we know who won that argument,β Glenn says, the two smiling slightly. βI didn't expect her out of all the people to go help save Merle,β Glenn says quietly.
βThat's her brother-in-law,β T-Dog says. βSeriously? They're married?β Glenn says, surprised. βI've been flirting with a married woman.β
βAuntie [Name] isn't married,β Carl says, suddenly showing up. βShe doesn't have a ring.β He says, like it's common knowledge, before walking over to the van. The two see Carl speaking to the woman before hearing Shane and Rick's voices.
The two arguing because Shane thinks it's not a good idea to go save Merle, but Rick insists before asking Glenn to come along. He hesitates but agrees when [Name] says he's good at doing this type of stuff.
βI still think you should stay,β Daryl says again to [Name], who lets out a hum while watching Carl go back to his mom.
βIt's your brother, Daryl, even if he's aβ¦.interesting person, after all, you're helping me look for mine as well.β She says to him, smiling as Daryl huffs, looking away from her as his face heats up slightly.
βOf course, I'll help you.β
She smiles at this before looking back at her gun, βGuess guns are going to be a no-go.β She mumbles before Daryl hands her his knife.
βTake it.β He mumbles to her.
Before he turns around, yelling at Rick and everyone else to hurry up.
As soon as anyone who was going got into the van, they started to drive back to Atlanta to find Merle.
Sitting beside Daryl, your gaze was down on the knife he had given you. βHe'd better be okay,β Daryl says, staring at T-Dog. βIt's my only word on the matter.β
T-Dog sighs, βI told you the geeks can't get him; the only thing that's gonna get through that door is us.β He says confidently.
The van came to a stop, Glenn saying that they would walk from here. With Daryl's help, you jumped off the van, and all five of you started to jog in the direction of the city.
Carefully walking through the department store, following Rick's lead, you were standing behind T-Dog. Something shiny caught your eye, and you looked down to see a necklace with a purple cat as a piece of jewelry on it. Staring at it, you didn't notice Daryl looking back to see where you were, and he followed your gaze.
βGrab it, and let's go.β He says to you quietly.
Getting to the rooftop of the building where Rick and the others had left Merle, he was gone, and it clearly affected Daryl as she stood there in disbelief, tearing up once he saw the handcuffs were empty.
A bloody saw was lying beside a hand, and a bloody handcuff was still connected to the thick pipe.
Sighing quietly as you look away from the scene, rubbing your forehead.
Daryl raises his crossbow at T-Dog, while Rick points his gun at Daryl. You could only watch from afar, knowing Daryl wouldn't pull the trigger. Getting a rag from Glennβs backpack, you walk over to the hand as Daryl kneels to grab it once he calms down slightly. Carefully wrapping up Merle's hand and putting it in Glennβs bag, who just closes his eyes, trying not to think of it so hard.
Following the blood trail, all five of you went down the stairs and into an empty and messy office, finding some dead geeks along the way. Merle was well enough to kill the random geeks wandering around. Walking in the kitchen, the stove was on, blood splattered on it as Glenn gagged from the smell of human meat burning.
Walking ahead of them, you look through the broken window. βHe left the building.β You say as Daryl comes over to you, sighing. βWhy wouldn't he?β He scoffs at you, clearly frustrated with this whole thing.
Watching as the men start to argue, you manage to sneak away, deciding to go ahead and scout the route to the bag of guns.
When Glenn was making his plan of route to get the bag of guns, he realized that you weren't there. Once the plan was set, Daryl quickly went outside, kneeling behind a trash can. He grabbed your shoulder, βThe hell are you doing out here?β He shouts quietly at you.
βScouting the place.β You answer back at him.
βNext time, stay with the group.β He scolds you, and once Glenn started to run to the bag of guns, he had you next to him, pressed against the wall, and his shoulder behind the trash, and the sounds of quiet footsteps are heard before Daryl gets up, holding his crossbow to the young man. Daryl had asked him if he had seen his brother. The boy, obviously scared for his life, started to scream for help.
Trying to calm him down so the dead wouldn't come swarming you three in the alleyway, Daryl gives up going the peaceful way as he hits him across the face with his crossbow, covering the boy's mouth. For a moment, you thought that everything was going well until two men ran into the alleyway, looking at you and Daryl kneeling next to the boy, crying for help. Clearly not expecting them, the two men run over, kicking Daryl to the ground while the other hits the side of your head with a baseball bat, making you stumble over next to Daryl on the floor.
Glenn, running back, freezes upon seeing the scene, taking a step back before trying to run off, but they spot him. βThat's it! That's the bag, vato!? Take it!β They lunge at Glenn, fighting for the bag before a car pulls up, while dragging Glenn to it, before Daryl shoots an arrow at one of the men.
βDaryl! Daryl! [Name]!β Glenn screams.
Taking this opportunity, you stumble to your feet and run to Glenn, trying to get him back, only to get dragged into the car with him.
Daryl quickly gets up when he realizes that you got caught as well, β[Name]! Glenn!β He shouts desperately, running over to the gate, but it's too late as the car speeds off, taking you and Glenn.

SUMMARY: arriving at treasure island, senku still thinks it's a bad idea to bring you along
It's been a year, the ship was complete and Minami was insisting on taking a photo to mark another milestone done by the kingdom of science.
Standing beside Ryusui, smiling at the camera everyone grinned happily as it went off. It took a year, but the ship was done, and now it was time to set sail across the ocean.
Things between [Name] and [Senku] had settled down to some degree but the tension was still there. Sitting down on the railing of the ship, legs kicking the air the [H/C] haired girl hummed to herself as Ryusui called out names of people he wanted as crew. Some people cheered while others waited, desperately hoping they would get called. After all, to get hand-picked by Ryusui was a big deal.
Watching the blonde calling out people, obviously, Senku was going after all. Except, just like him, [Name] too was surprised when Ryusui extended his hand to her.
"Last of all, [Name]." Her [E/C] eyes meet his eyes, clearly surprised, Senku had intervened.
"No offense but [Name] isn't going to be useful on this journey across the ocean." The green-white haired boy says, trying to change Ryusui's mind but he's quite serious in his choice to bring her along.
Raising her hand, she hesitates to place her hand in his but eventually grabs onto it tightly as he helps her up to her feet to stand beside him. With a proud smile, Ryusui announces that all the names he called out are the ones he's chosen for the mission.
Shortly after, it's decided that they would depart into the ocean the next day, and soon enough, it was bittersweet watching those picked to go get emotional with friends and family.
Β The morning breeze makes your hair sway around your face, watching as Kohaku and her father share goodbyes to Ruri. The rest of the villagers of Ishigami Village crowded Chrome, Kaseki, Ginro, and Kinro, bidding tearful words of encouragement.
Sitting on the railing of the ship, your eyes linger on the scene before your eyes droop slightly, realizing that you don't have anyone to come back to. No family....friends. No one would miss you if something happened during the journey, maybe the others, because they all had someone beside them.
Except.....you maybe did have someone once ago.
You almost didn't hear the footsteps behind you but looking back, it was Senku. He stood a few feet away from you, hands on his hips. "Not saying your goodbyes? I thought idols were supposed to be all that to their fans." He says sarcastically, picking his ear. He expected some fake, positive idol nonsense from you, but his hand dropped from his ear, expression dropping when you looked away from him quietly.
He swore he saw this sad look in your eyes when you looked away from him.
"...hey..." He spoke softly but you suddenly stood up, jumping down from the railing.
"...I'm going to check out the rest of the ship." You say softly before walking away from him, away from the scene of everyone.
β
Ryusui had found you curled up in a ball, face buried to your knees in the sleeping quarters. It's been around a couple of hours since the Perseus had taken sail and was heading to Treasure Island, and he finally had time for you.
Luckily, everyone was busy roaming the rest of the ship, sitting down on your bed; he gave you some time to speak first, but when you didn't. He spoke first, voice so quiet, so soft just for you.
His hand lays on your head as you slowly look up at him, his fingers sliding down to your cheek as he speaks to you.
His words make you smile, as he grins back at you.
With his help, he brought you up to date on what everyone was doing on deck. There was a man from the power team who had no name; it turned out he was from the island Byakuya and the others lived on thousands of years ago.
Ryusui was watching you sleep, his hand gripping yours as you slept before letting go. Francois had walked in, holding a cup of tea, before spotting you fast asleep already.
"....nightmares again I presume?" Francois says to Ryusui as he nods, his finger gently caressing the side of your eye, puffy from crying before his hands go down to your throat.
Francois sees a scar there. It's barely noticeable since it's covered by a ribbon most of the time, but Ryusui had untied it while you slept, and his fingers touched it.
"This is...."
"A bullet wound." Ryusui says, "Just before she was turned to stone on stage. Someone shot her right through the neck luckily it was a clear shot, so the bullet went in and out clean. If the world didn't turn to stone, [Name] would have never been able to sing again." Francois grimaces at this, in the year they've known [Name], the two were quite fond of her.
"All she got was a scar from it, a miracle." Deciding to let you sleep properly, he carefully tied the ribbon back, covering you with a blanket before leaving the room with Francois. "But she scratches her neck when she's stressed."
"Master Ryusui, may I ask when you'll court [Name]? It's been a year and you've been pinning after long before the world turned to this. I would've thought you would make a move."
Ryusui walks ahead and grins at Francois's observation. "As much as I want to, it's not the perfect time just yet." He looks back at Francois who looks surprised before smiling back at him.
"You're right, my apologies, Master Ryusui, everything has to be perfect for the right time."
β
Senku woke up from loud singing on deck, clearly still fast asleep, groaning and waking up the stairs to find [Name] singing cheerfully, with a big grin on her lips as she sang along with everyone else who was already awake.
Even Kaseki was singing proudly as [Name] danced with him, the old man laughing as he twirled around.
Eventually, after all that was done, [Name] ran off to help Francois make breakfast, much to Senku's delight since he wanted peace and quiet.
"How the hell do you guys have that much energy in the morning?" Senku asked as Nikki responded cheerfully. "[Name] managed to fire them up pretty well so maybe they'll actually do their jobs well without complaining. Even Ginro was pumped up with so much energy." She says proudly.
"I'm so glad Ryusui brought [Name] along, we really need that kinda motivation and positivity on this journey."
Senku listens, and although annoyed, he can't help but agree for once that everyone needed the most needed motivation for this. Even if [Name] played a big role in it.
During the year spent building the Perseus, [Name] had fought to actually help him, and eventually, his defenses against her had crumbled. There was a playful banner between them, but he still hated her.
But he had softened around her....just a little bit.
After all, he knows it's illogical to hate someone who clearly wanted to help him with his goal of reviving humanity. But when it comes to her, the argument they had just seems to overcome any logic he has towards her.Β
That stupid argument.....he knows it's stupid to hold a grudge against someone from an argument they had when they were young teenagers...he knows that.
Senku looked up at [Name], who was helping Francois pass breakfast around with that stupid grin on her lips. The grins and smiles she gives people.....he swears he can see behind them...but deep down, maybe once he thought could read her. He isn't sure anymore; he can't read what's on her mind, the smiles, her actions. Senku knows that she isn't the same person she was when she was beside Senku as a kid, helping him with experiments at the park.
He looks away from her when she makes eye contact with him and her smile brightens up, his brows furrow as he frowns.
Maybe it's best not to understand this version of her because once humanity is back, she'll go back to being that person behind a screen.
It's best not to get attached to someone committed to her fans.
β
Sitting on a barrel, you watched as Senku called in the scout team to scout the island first. Knowing you weren't going to be picked, you just sat humming to yourself, only to jump in surprise as Ryusui slammed a barrel harshly to the floor before sitting on top of it. Francois made sure you didn't fall over from the scare.
Looking at Ryusui, his expression was serious, arms crossed as Senku and everyone else looked at him confused.
It wasn't until Senku and the others left that you knew why Ryusui did what he did. Turns out Suika had snuck on board while Ryusui was scolding her; you jumped off the barrel and walked over. Ignoring Ryusui's words of letting Suika have her punishment, you took hold of her; she looked at you, expecting scolding as well, but you smiled down at her warmly.
Taking off her watermelon helmet, you wipe her eyes, as she sniffles. "It's okay, all Suika wanted to do was be useful, right?" She tears up at this even more as you hug her gently.
"There, there. [Name] will protect you from Ryusui." You say as Ryusui looks at you.
"Stowaways need to be punished-"
"I'll look after her until we go back to Ishigami village." You tell him as you grin at him. "Don't worry, that's a promise."
Francois watched the scene, eyes narrowing slightly as you calmed Suika down; there was something off about the scene. They couldn't help but notice the way you held Suika, voice softer and.....almost motherly.
Did youβ?
They shake their head, erasing those thoughts, surely they're just overthinking things. Maybe you were just good with kids in general. Yes, maybe that's it.
Yet, there's a question in the back of Francois's mind as she watches you cheer up Suika like it was second nature to you as Ryusui tries to scold the little girl.
Was it possible you had children before the world turned to stone?Β

SUMMARY: Now out of stone, Senku visibly shows that he dislikes having you around. Idol in the stone world = useless
Standing in front of the mirror, your reflection stares back at you. Winter would be over in a couple weeks. To say that any progress with Senku was going well was another lie, he still kept his distance despite you always offering to help.
Lifting your fingers to the corner of your lips, tugging them into a big, bright smile. Practicing smiles in the mirror was a habit you did for years; after all, everything had to be perfect for the fans.
Tonight would be simple: planning to sing an unreleased song that your manager had been against releasing since it was a song written by you and it wasn't quite upbeat like the ones you released.
With no music playing in the background, you hoped it would turn up fine.
A knock at the door was a sign back to reality.
β
Everyone was sitting, waiting for the performance to start.
"It's gonna be like what we heard in the record right?" Kohaku asked.
"Something like that."
Suika and the rest of the children were people more excited than Senku. "Lighten up, be happy for your friends for once." Kohaku scolds Senku who had tried to sneak away only for the girl to hold him by the back of his neck.
[Name] walks onto the stage, and everyone erupts in cheers; the spotlight shines down on her as she smiles and waves at the crowd.
Senku remembers the conversation that she had, asking if she wouldn't feel colder wearing a short dress with no sleeves, but she just smiled and said she was fine.
As she started to sing, Senku stood not quite facing the stage, mostly sideways, arms crossed.
He expected to hear the usual songs she had sung before, but he froze up at the first phrase.
" In candlelight, as time unwinds, I find myself lost in your eyesΒ
In midnight tolls, as darkness folds
I see your tears, when we say goodbye "
[E/C] eyes stared back at him when he looked up at the stage. The [H/C] haired girl walks along the stage, mic in hand as she lifts her free hand, reaching up to the stars above.
" Watching stars, as we drift on by
A touch, a glance, fly away
Will our paths converge 'neath the sun?
A silent desire in melody sung "
Everyone was surpised, confused. Nikki mumbles, "I've never heard this song before....and I'm a superfan." She says quietly as others agree.
" Beyond this stolen night
We share a cherished dreamΒ
Between souls whispered that it seems "
"So, is this like a super ultra rare song we're listening to?" Suika says excitedly. "Like finding a super rare rock!"
Ryusui watches his idol on stage, arms crossed, his face stern. He and [Name] had spoken about this; the two had gotten extremely close during the winter, so Ryusui had spoken to her about what songs she would perform,m, and she had mentioned that she had an unreleased song back in the modern world.
Of course, she sang it to him in private and had approved of it, and as of right now, only he knows the meaning behind the words.
"Oh my, such lyrics." Gen says from beside him. "Senku had prevented me from speaking to her alone, but these words are quite concerning, don't you think so?"
" Will shooting stars align 'neath the sun?
In whispered hopes where journey's begun?
In dreams, we waltz the sky "
Senku made eye contact with [Name] again and could see the nostalgia in her eyes, lifting her hand and reaching towards him.
" You watch me drift on by
In your memory
A whispered song
A seed of hope where we belong "

After the show, you were drinking water when Gen walked over to you. "Let's talk, shall we?" He says as you finish your water to look at him, an unreadable expression on your face.
"I was wondering when you'll come to me, let me guess, Senku finally decided to let the leash loose?" Gen smirks down at you; he can feel a shiver down his spine when he sees how dark your eyes got, a grin on your lips.

SUMMARY: why? why? why? that's all everyone can think of when they see Senku interact with [Name], did they have a fallout? bad blood between them?
Standing on a cliff, the breeze makes you feel colder, but despite that, you stay rooted to that spot. Your gaze follows Senku and the others who are working on something.
He's been avoiding you ever since your first day being revived, guess he was serious about the idea of bringing you back. If not for Ryusui, you would still be stuck in stone and if there was a chance Senku would fully bring back all of humanity, you would be the last on his list.
Head downwards, your bangs cover your face as a rare frown on your lips. Never once letting your true self show, never letting your guard down, neverβ
"There you are!" Lifting your head, you turn to Ryusui, the same big smile on your lips as you look up at him. "It's cold, I brought you a coat." He says.
"I'm not that cold." You say.Β
'...I lie. I automatically say whatever will work in a given situation...Even I don't know what's a lie and...what I really thinkβ'Β Your thoughts are loud in your mind; that's all you have been thinking about since being revived since your idol activities had been keeping you extremely busy. '....that's why Senku...'
Your faze falters slightly, and he catches it, even if it's a glimpse, as he stares at you for a moment before placing the coat over your shoulders. His hand cups your chin, making you look up at him fully, and you swear your heart beats slightly.
The air around you two is tense; your heartbeat spikes up again as the blonde leans down; his nose brushes against yours, as he stares into your eyes.
"You don't have to perform if you don't want to. We can always push the date back." He says, pulling away as he looks down at you worried, and your lips open to say something, but nothing comes out.
"It's fine, I can perform." You turn around to look down at Senku and the others; Ryusui stands beside you to see where you're looking.
"I don't know the history between you two but.."
"Don't worry about it, you can't fix what's broken after all."
Getting closer to the edge of the cliff, Ryusui's hand twitches slightly when you face him. "You can't fix the fact that Senku hates me; I lied to him you know."
Ryusui watches your face, especially your eyes because he can tell that the stars in your eyes dim every time Senku is involved.
"I lied to him just like I lie to all my fans. Idols are like objects of worship, you know? The magic of lies is what makes us shine."
You look down to where Senku was once, they probably went to bed already since it was getting late.
"...although even us idols have their own feelings and problems we go through but nobody realizes it."
.
.
.
Ryusui watches as [Name] looks back at him; the starry night behind her only makes her shine even more; he swears her eyes shine so brightly it captivates him.
"To me, lies are an outstanding kind of love." The way she stood there, looking back at him with the brightest smile on her lips, made him speechless.
[Name] as a person, to him, is a wonderful woman, he's sure that he wants to be the only person to see this side of her. A side Senku despises. He wants her.
He wants to uncover the mystery; he wants to know the real her, and most of all, he wants her. Although he's not sure if it's just his greed talking or even something beyond it to romantic feelings or whatnot.
When [Name] was about to step away from the edge of the cliff, she lost her balance, and if not for Ryusui's quick thinking, she would have surely fallen back and most likely fallen to her death right in front of him.
"Thanks, I can't be dying when I'm the world's most beloved idol." She says playfully, looking up only to realize how close the two are. His arm wrapped around her waist tightly, his face a bit red probably because she's quite literally pressed against his chest.
Senku was walking back to get something he had forgotten when he looked up just in time to see Ryusui holding onto [Name] by the waist as she pressed into his chest. The two look quite flustered before [Name] pulls away.
He can see the two talking but can't make out the words before they finally walk away together.
"Tch." He mumbles, scratching the back of his head before deciding to just leave.
β
It was almost winter, meaning that the progress on the ship would get slower and that meant having until it got warmer to get ready for your performance. You had to at least convince the doubtful people that there was still hope for humanity and that they had to trust Senku and the rest of the main cast.
Luckily, you had managed to become roommates with Yuzuriha, which she was most excited about. The two of you were sitting down on the floor while she was busy designing a winter clothing line, learning that before Ryusui brought you back, she actually held a fashion show with the people of Ishigami Village.
"I want you to be my main star." She says, fired up as she starts to sew up clothes.
Participating in Yuzuriha's fashion show was actually so much fun. Sure, the outfits she made specifically for you were a bit too much, but the magazines you would model for in the modern world were so boring. So you didn't mind.
A fashion show is like being on stage, except without all the singing and dancing you're used to and it was very relaxing in a way. Being the one to start the fashion show and closing it, you were last to walk down the runway, wearing a similar outfit to one of your old tours. Yuzuriha must have taken inspiration from it.
Your eyes glance around the crowd, much to your disappointment, Senku wasn't watching. Of course, he wasn't, he had more important things to do.
Once you make your way to the very end, you spot Ryusui and Francois. The way Ryusui looked up at you, a proud look on his face as Francois clapped smiling at you.
You couldn't help but smile at them, a real smile.
β
Winter had come, and much to Senku's annoyance, he still didn't let [Name] do any of the heavy lifting, saying he rather not get sued by her agency if she lost a finger or something.
"Ryuji!" She yells, catching up to the blonde man who looks back at her; he had been making a model of the ship they would build, so he's been busy these days.
"It's Ryusui." He corrects.
"Right, sorry!" This doesn't bother him; he's gotten used her personality, so he knows she's really just playing around.
"Ryusui, I'll join your agency!" The girl exclaim loudly which Senku looks over at you two. "Only if we find my manager! We don't have to bring him back yet but I want to make sure his statue is safe until there's enough revival fluid. That's my only condition."
Shaking hands to seal the deal, the two stare at each other, grinning.Β
Ryusui's words echo in Senku's mind about [Name]. About how she was dazzling like a star in the night sky. He doesn't deny that her eyes shine like the brightest star in the sky, but how much is she lying about?
"Francois, get the contract ready!"
"Of course."
And so, [Name] had joined the Nanami Agency, despite being the only idol under Ryusui's management.
Ryusui doesn't mind if all [Name] does is fabricate lies. Because he knows that his goal to make sure she can live without thinking she had to lie to be loved by all.

Ryusui stared down at the statue that was frozen in stone, the face of the woman he used to watch from behind a screen and he kneeled down in front of her. His fingers ever so gently brushed to remove the vines that held her figure so tightly.
Grabbing the clothes that Yuzuriha had made especially for the idol in stone, he carefully slid them onto her figure, his fingers gently trying the ribbons on the side of the dress.
He stood up, staring down at the stone statue who looked back at him, her hands holding onto her neck, forever frozen in time. The blond-haired dug into his pocket for a small vital and carefully raised it, pouring the liquid onto the statue. Watching as the sleeping woman inside the stone fell back, into his arms as he carefully held her.
Her hands fell from her neck as he held her, her unconscious figure against his chest as he stood up. Senku would definitely scold him for reviving the idol without his knowledge.
Ryusui made his way back to Ishigami village, making sure to keep the [h/c] haired woman stable in his arms, and he looked up when he heard something fall from ahead of him.
"What did you do?"
Senku's voice rang out, almost....angrily?
Ryusui just gave him a grin, finding the scientist's reaction extremely odd. For someone who wants to revive all of humanity, why act like this to a certain person?
"Having a chef is better, but the stone world can be more lively if we had entertainment!" Ryusui exclaims proudly, laughing as Senku feels his eye twitch in annoyance.
"You could've picked anyone and you chose her." He says, gritting his teeth.
Ryusui walks by him, clenching the unconscious woman more, "Ha ha ha! She's the best candidate for entertainment! Japan's most beloved idol."
The rich man turns to the other blonde-haired person.Β "Francois! Prepare a bedroom where [Name] can sleep properly." His butler bows at this before getting to work.
β
Sitting on what seems to be a throne, you stared down at the blonde man who kneeled down to you like you're some sort of goddess. You only woke up an hour ago and were escorted outside by Francois, who walked you over to a throne. Sitting down and seeing a familiar blonde-haired man.
Now here you are, he's told the situation. Humanity turned into stone and it's been 3700 years since then.
He walked you to meet the rest of the people who were revived as well. Of course, you were met with people who instantly recognized you.
The biggest supporter had to be Nikki. She started crying upon seeing you, shaking your hand ever so gently like you were a piece of glass.
"Don't worry about lifting a single finger! I'll do all the heavy lifting for you!" She says, sobbing as you try to calm her down. Even Minami tried to do an interview with you but Ryusui had carried you over his shoulder as if you didn't weigh a single thing.
"Enough with the meet and greets, it's time to introduce you to the one making it possible to revive all of humanity!" He says proudly and loudly as an annoyed voice is heard.
"I could hear you from a mile away," Senku says, picking his ear.
You look down at him, mesmerized just from seeing him after 3700 years of being asleep. Ryusui put you down beside him, his hand lingering on your waist before letting go.
"Senku, this is [Name] andβ" Senku abruptly cuts him off, all logic thrown out the window. So out of character of him.
"Yeah, I know who she is." He says, annoyed, as he looks at you. "We used to be friends when we were children."
Ryusui smiles at this, "Great! A reunion between old friends."
"Friends?" Senku says disgusted. "We used to be friends; I am not even a millisecond interested in working with her; I bet she'll complain about all the physical labor we do." His eyes darkened slightly as he stared at you, the heels given to you making you slightly taller than him.
Ryusui looks over at you, and now you know you have to make it seem like Senku's words don't hurt you, but they do.
"Oppie Daisy! Caught me there!" You exclaim cheerfully. "I'm not interested in lifting heavy things, my hands will get blisters!" You laugh, grinning at them. "But for the sake of humanity, I'll do my best.....Senky!"
Senku feels his face twitch at this. "It's Senku! You idiot!"
"I'm just so bad at remembering names!" Ryusui bursts into laughter as you stick your tongue out at Senku. He wraps his arms around your shoulders, "Now, this is the energy we've been missing!"
"Yeah, you two are so alike!" Senku argues, feeling a headache coming on as you and Ryusui continue to laugh.
Soon enough, you meet Yuzuriha and Taiju, and to Senku's annoyance, you hug Taiju happily, even though Taiju is clearly hugging you too tightly.
"Taiju! It's so nice to see you again, it's been so long!" Of course, Taiju was crying as you patted his back, and meeting Yuzuriha was a delight, "I finally have the face of the creator of my famous outfit from the modern world!" Yuzuriha almost fainted from your praise.
A few months before the world turned to stone, your agency held a contest for fans to make an outfit for your tour overseas and Yuzuriha's was one of the winners.
"I won the VIP tickets but with the amount of people pushing, I could only see you for the crowd." Yuzuriha sadly says as you pat her head.
Senku stood on the side, arms crossed as his gaze was anywhere but on you. "Yuzuriha, we're friends now! After all, it's not the modern world anymore...I'm not sure if it's best to call me an idol."
Ryusui, hearing this, looks at Senku. "Build [Name] a stage, speakers, and microphone. Some lights as well!" He says, Senku immediately shoots down this idea.
"Hell no! We don't have time for concerts!" You smile at this.
"From what Francois told me! You guys are building a ship right?" Senku looks over at you, making eye contact with you.
Looking determined to get on his good side, you stand there with a big grin, hands clasped behind your back, "we can win the cooperation of people with a performance." Senku narrowed his eyes, "One performance will win them completely to your side."
"I want her! I want that confidence!" Ryusui says proudly, "I'll open up an agency just for [Name]!"
You blink upon hearing this, the grin still on your lips despite being completely confused by his outburst. "Agency? I already have one...although it would be great to get my manager revived as well."
"Not happening, Ryusui might have brought you back but to be blunt, I never saw the need to bring an idol along with us."
"Ah right."
For a split moment, Senku saw your facade drop upon bearing this. Before you laugh, "I mean, you're totally right! An idol is useless in a stone world!"
β
Once [Name] had left with Taiju and Yuzuriha, to get the [h/c] haired girl to meet the villagers.
Senku and Ryusui were talking to each other; the scientist was clearly displeased with him bringing back the idol. "Bring her into this wasn't the best idea you know."
The blonde just shrugged his shoulders, "Senku, I have a feeling you hold negative feelings for [Name]." He says seriously, looking at Senku with a stern look, frowning.
"I didn't expect you to hold a grudge towards someone."
Senku chuckles, his eyes darkened, "Yeah? I have my own reasons to dislike that girl."
The two men stare each other down before Ryusui turns away, looking into the distance where [Name] is speaking to the villagers, smiling with them.
His eyes softened at the scene, "Well, whatever your grudge...I want her." Senku rolls his eyes at this, hands on his hips.
"Good luck with that. All you'll get in return are lies."
Just as Senku was about to walk away, he paused at Ryusui's words. "I've watched her performances through a screen...but seeing her in person, I say she's as dazzling as the evening's first star."
"...dazzling huh?" Senku mumbles to himself in his mind, flashes back to a distant memory.
"Her eyes glisten like bright stars, simply magnificent!"
Unable to listen to more of his praise about [Name], Senku walks off, and just as he's about to climb into the observatory. "Senku."
Groaning, all day has been giving him a massive headache.
"What theβ"
His voice cuts out as he realizes who it is. [Name] stood a good distance, the grin she always wears on her lips is gone.
"It's really good to see you again." She says quietly. "Iβ"
"Don't give me that 'I love you' bullshit, you sure as hell don't mean it."
Without another word, he climbs up, leaving the girl to stand there, the breeze swaying her hair as she stares up at where he was once. Her eyes darkened as she slowly looked at her feet, and quietly walked away.

SUMMARY: no one would had have guessed that senku was once friends with the beloved idol from the modern world at some point. the two have unfinished business due to senku's clear hatred towards the idol
Senku stared down at the screen of his phone, reading the article, the bright red header, "SHOCKING NEWS: IDOL [NAME] GAINED 20 POUNDS A WEEK,"Β he scrolled through it, a scowl expression on his face.
Yuzuriha walks by, hearing the quiet 'tsk' he lets out and she looks at his phone. She immediately stops what she's doing, placing the box of fabric down the table beside her.
"I read that article too." She begins off, startling Senku a bit as he immediately closes off the tab, "just some stupid article." He says, crossing his arms, trying his best to look nonchalant about the topic but Yuzuriha could tell he was annoyed. Senku was always annoyed by any articles he came across about the idol, [name] [l/n], even if they were good.
The brown-haired girl frowns slightly at this; she wouldn't dare say this out loud, but Senku and [Name] used to be friends, very close friends during childhood. She learned through Taiju about their shared past before she came along, but Senku never brought up the [h/c] haired girl. Although sometimes, when he thinks no one notices, he always reads the latest of her and hides the fact that maybe he's still looking over his former best friend.
"Stupid article or not, I hope [Name] hasn't read it." She says worriedly. "The media can be so hard on idols."
"Yeah? Well, she signed herself up to that life." Senku scoffs. "Ten billion percent she won't last soon enough." Yuzuriha's frown deepens at this.
"..Senku." She begins.
"Anyways, isn't that box of fabric needed in the arts and crafts club?" He changes the subject before she can tell him something again about how he talks about the idol.Β
Yuzuriha jumps at this, immediately grabbing the box. "Right! I forgot, see you later!" She says running off.
Senku sighs, glancing down at his phone before deciding to get back to working on his experiment.
β
In the early morning, you stood before cameras, posing to advertise the new brand of lipstick. Your manager sitting and watching as the flashes of the cameras go off every few minutes as the makeup artists touch up your makeup with each shot.
"Come on, [Name]. Gotta show the media that you didn't gain 20 pounds in a week. Maybe we should stop accepting fast food commercials." Your manager says sighing. "They're just ruining your image."
For another hour, after posing and smiling at the cameras, it was time to head to the next location.
Sitting down outside of a cafe, with a plate of pastries and a cup of coffee, a crowd had started to grow behind the area of the shoot, some shouting your name as you give them a big, cheerful smile, waving.
Unknowingly to you, a pair of red eyes stared at you, watching before walking away from the crowd.
"Give us a big smile!" You do as you're told to, only did you glance up to see familiar hair in the crowd and immediately stood up, confusing the photographers and your manager.
Your eyes stayed glued onto the spot in the crowd, but as your eyes looked around, the sight of green and white hair, just as it came, was gone.
Feeling the stares of everyone on you, a grin grows on your lips, "Sorry! I got a cramp on my leg!" You say playfully, your fist lightly hitting the side of your head as you wink. Your fans only squeal louder, "I love you, [Name]!!" The poor security guards have a hard time keeping them from running over to you.
The day ends, your manager is going over tomorrow's schedule and your meal plans for the day.
You could only sit there and listen; hands clasped on your lap, shoulders tensed before she stopped. "Or, you can take an hour's break if you finish the photo shoot early tomorrow."Β You look up at this, before smiling big at her as she sighs but smiles back at you.
"I know being back where you grew up is bound to bring up old memories, so enjoy your free hour; just make sure to wear a disguise."
You jump at her, hugging her tightly, "I won't disappoint you!"
"You never do." She says patting your head.
The next day comes fast and managing to perfect every pose during the photo shoot, you're free to roam around for an hour. Putting on a cap that you stuffed your hair into and a pair of sunglasses, you stroll along the place before deciding to go to your childhood home.
Senku hadn't expected to ever come across his once childhood best friend; he decided to take the long way home, the route leading near the orphanage, and now he regrets it. She stood in front of him with such a soft, affectionate look in her eyes; he could clearly see the nostalgic writing all over her face as she stared at him.
Her lips opened, but no words came out; she had so many things to tell him, but where did she even start? Maybe she could invite him to her concert andβ
Her expression flashed with hurt as Senku looked away first, walking by her as if she were just a stranger on the street. Her hands immediately grabbed onto his frantically. "...tickets to goβ" Senku immediately snatches his hand back from hers as if her touch burned him.
That vibrant sparkle in her eyes fades as she watches him rip the tickets she tried to give him moments.
He looks into her eyes, the sunglasses she wore were off since she wanted him to look at her directly. Without another word, just as a group of students were walking by, Senku loudly exclaimed with sarcasm, "It's the idol [Name]. Wow."
The group hears this, immediately stopping in their tracks as they see [Name]; Senku swiftly moves aside as they run over to her.
"It's actually her?!"
"Can I get an autograph?!"
More people started to swarm [Name], who kept staring at Senku, clearly betrayed in her eyes as people surrounded her fast. At some point, she looked away from Senku and started to pay attention to her fans who were eager for her.
Senku had slipped away.
When he bluntly told his friends the next day, Yuzuriha scolded him while Taiju agreed, "Senku, that's no way to act with a lady! Especially when she's our friend!" Taiju exclaims.
"Correction, ex-friend." Senku corrects him annoyed.
"Just because we haven't talked in a while doesn't mean we stopped being friends!" Taiju argues, sure none of them had spoken to [Name] ever since she blew up as an idol but... "She's just busy, she'll come back."
Senku huffs at this, "She's too busy playing pop star."
And no one said anything after that.
Later that same day, Senku was watching a livestream of the concert [Name] had tried to give him tickets to but his attention to it wasn't 100 percent on it. He was working on an experiment when Taiju barged in.
"Senku! Today's the day I'll confess to Yuzuriha after 5 years!" His friend says boldly. Senku wouldn't be surprised if Yuzuriha heard him across the school.
So after that whole conversation, we all know how it goes.
Senku was watching the live stream with the volume high enough that he could hear the idol singing and dancing. It had happened in a split second; if he had blinked, he would have missed why [Name] had stumbled back, one of her hands holding her neck as blood poured down her neck and drenched her hand.
The way her singing cuts off and Senku could only watch as she trembles, could see the fear in her eyes.
The outfit she wore grows red as she stumbles back, the painful groans she lets out, the microphone catching the way she begins to choke on her own blood.
The horrified screams of the crowd before a bright, green light covers the scene, and in that moment, he looks up and out the window. He sees the same green light coming straight in his direction and everything goes dark.

Silence fills the air as Senku stands there, petrification device in hand as he catches his breathe before he walks past Ibara's statue and Ryusui's broken one. He walks and walks until his knees gave out and his mind finally calms down from the adrenaline.
"Alone." He mutters faintly.
"I'm....all alone."
Staring out into sunset, his eyes droop slightly. He's gotten so used to the noise and chatter from his friends that he's back to where it was just him in the beginning. Standing up, he continues to walk back to the center of the island to see if he could find anything useful.
Senku jumps as the sudden voice of Ruri from the telephone he's carrying on his back. "Are you faring well, Senku?"
Reaching a cave he decides to spend the night so in the morning he can start on reviving Chrome first. Taking off the telephone, he sets it to the side before trying to get a fire started to keep warm during the night.
With the light of the flames growing, he doesn't notice something deep in the cave until he hears a crack behind him, "hm?" Looking back, he almost falls back from the shock at what's behind him.
It was a crystal, as big as a boulder, but that's not what surpised him, it's what's inside.
A woman with [H/C] hair, her eyes closed, her body curled in itself as her arms wrap around her legs and her knees pressed into her chest.
Reaching up, he places his hand on the crystal before it starts to crack underneath his touch and he jumps when it suddenly shattered. He stumbles forward to catch this unknown woman, not caring that she's basically naked.
β
[Name] stood at the rail of the ship, staring out into the ocean's endless waters. The breeze making her hair sway in the air as she looks behind her, a smile appearing on her lips before walking towards Senku who was holding a cup of alcohol in his hand.
Being the newest member of their journey to America, Francois had made it their mission to include the woman in their activities. Despite Senku always interrogating her each moment he got.
"Here, Francois made it. They weren't sure if you even like alcohol." The woman takes it, staring at the cup in awe and Senku takes this time to really study her.
Yuzuriha had crafted an outfit for her, saying it definitely suits [Name].
A large hooded veil draped over her head which was crafted using blue fabric and white cloth with silver trimming. A backless and sleeveless white dress with the same color palette. Although he thinks is a bit overkill but [Name] didn't complain.
"It's sweet." She mutters after drinking the whole drink in one go, surprising Senku.
"I'm surprised you can even if finish alcohol that fast, maybe you're not a lightweight like I thought you were."
She blinks at this. "Is it unusual?"
He shakes his head. "Nah, some are lightweight, other's aren't." Shrugging his shoulders, he walks off and leaves [Name] alone as she watches him. Her eyes filled with a longing expression before pressing a hand to her chest.
β
"What exactly were you even doing in a crystal in the first place?" Senku asks, [Name] looks at him as the moths flutters around them from the lights they held and while everyone else was admiring the moths, the two were speaking quietly.
"...I'm not sure." She says, looking up at the creatures fluttering in the night sky, "I can't....fully remember."
"It's strange, yet everytime I see you it's like seeing this brilliant world for the first time..." Senku watches as she places her hands on her chest, squeezing her hands tightly.
"....just like he said it would be."
He blinks, opening his mouth to talk when Tsukasa's voice rang out and then bullets begins to rapidly rain down.
Everyone scatters and Senku looks back to where [Name] stands just to see a bullet rip through her shoulder, he's eyes widen at this but she stood there, before looking down at her shoulder. Her hand coming up to touch the wound before her knees gave up.
"[Name]!"
β
Sitting down in secluded room, Yuzuriha left Senku and [Name] alone to discuss what everyone just saw when Senku put pressure on the gunshot wound.
"What are you?"
Senku demanded, hands on his hips as he stares down at thr woman who stares back at him. Even faced with integration, she always keep eye contact with him at all times.
"...me? I'm human, I have to be." She responds confused. "Like I've told you, I have no recollection of the past before meeting you." Her answer held no deception and he knew, yet despite knowing each other for months. He still doesn't much about her past or origin. Nothing.
Either she was on that island before the petrification beam happened in the modern world or she knew the survivors of astronauts. Which one is it?
"Humans don't bleed blue blood, or rather, whatever that substance was."
He gestures to the towels on the table, drenched in blue as she looks down.
"I have to be human, I'm sure." [Name] says to him. "But that doesn't explain why I was even in that crystal in the first."
"No, it doesn't."
Neither of them say anything else.
β
When Senku was shot, everyone tried to remove [Name] from the room as Luna was getting ready to help Senku yet the woman was stubborn. Kneeling beside the table, head downwards while she held one of Senku's hand to her forehead with a strong grip.
Even when Luna had warned that things would get bloody, the [H/C] haired woman stayed put, not saying a single word.
It wasn't until Senku was out of the danger zone did [Name] finally let his hand go so he could rest.
Walking past everyone, their voices distant as she thinks about the very curiosity that's been bugging her since Senku asked that very question.
'What am I?'
'An observer of this world? A seeker of its origin or....a witness of life itself?'
She stops at the edge of the ship and looks up at the stars. Eyes filled with so much confusion before she closes them, gripping her chest tightly.
"....well, I think, despite everything else, you're human deep down inside right?"
Her eyes snap open as a distant, yet familiar voice rang out from her memories...memories from the past.
The voice that understood her better than anyone.
"So who cares if you're different, you're more human than more people I used to know."
Her lips curl up into a bittersweet smile, "....this memory, it's precious but I can't remember their face...why? Why does my chest hurt so much?"
Her shoulders tremble, "why do I feel like this?"
β
'...but unlike me, humans are blessed with countless possibilities soβ'
Walking to where Senku was now resting, [Name] entered the room and he tiredly looks over at her.
'βif it means that i have close my eyes and try to be one of them, then so be it.'
She smiles at him, relief written all over her face as she sits down beside the bed.
'I understand now, my purpose is born from the burdens you carry.'
She reaches over and gently grabs onto his hand, feeling for his pulse, wanting proof that he's better now like hours before where she felt his pulse slowing down. His skin pale and bloody.
She sighs in relief.
'I exist because of you.'
Intertwining their fingers together, Senku blinks before freezing up at her words.
"No matter where you go. Even to the ends of the Earth. I will be your harbor. No matter how far you go, I will always be here, watching over you." She says softly, looking into his eyes.
He doesn't say anything before the tip of his ears grow red.
"...Is this a love confession or something?"
[Name] blinks at this, pondering for a moment. "Could this feeling be.....love?"
She asked with a straight face that Senku thought she was being stupid but he could see that she looking at him for an actual answer to her question.
β
When Stanley had finally caught up to them, Senku had wanted [Name] to go with Luna and Chelsea but she refused to do so.
Now, kneeling beside Senku as he bled out from getting shot by Stanley and his team, tears well up in her eyes as she stares down at him.
"Misfortune seems to follow you wherever you go."
Senku grins, coughing up blood as the petrification beam gets closer to them. They share a couple of more intimate words before [Name] pressed herself into him as the light finally reaches them.
Yet, she opens her eyes and looks up to see everyone turned to stone, tears rolling down her cheeks when she looks down at Senku.
She let out a sob, "....I remember now, why I was in that crystal." Her hands gripping his clothes, "I was alone, he died and I was....alone in the end."
"I'm...all alone again."
[Name] looks over at everyone, silence greeting her as everyone was stone. The entire world was petrified once again.
β
When Senku woke up 7 years later, Suika was the first to greet him and when she smiled, hugging him tightly before telling him she wasn't alone whenΒ waking up a couple years ago.
A pair of footsteps were heard in the distance, Suika smiled as Senku stared in disbelief.
Walking to them, [Name] was holding logs in her arms but she didn't seem to notice him yet as her expression was distant. Her gaze focus on the ground before Suika calls her over in delight.
"[Name]! [Name]! It finally worked!" Her voice rings out as the woman slowly looks up.
Senku gives her a soft smile, eyes swelling up with emotion as the [H/C] haired woman drops the logs as she looks at him in disbelief.
"You haven't changed one bit." He says quietly as her eyes begin to tear up with tears as she smiles at him, relieved. "Even after 7 years."
She runs up to him and just as he thought she would hug him like Suika did, she froze, looking unsure if she should even touch him. Sighing, ears red, he lifts his hands up to gesture to her it was okay.
Without hesitation, she embraces him tightly. Smiling big as she begins to cry quietly. His hands wraps around her as his head rests on top of hers.
When everyone was revived, beside Stanley and his team, Senku found [Name] sitting alone, away from everyone else as she stares up at the stars.
"There you are. Suika was worried you wandered off again."
He sits down beside her and looks up at the starry sky as well. [Name] spoke first, her eyes never leaving the sky.
"...every since you were turned to stone, on nights I couldn't sleep, I would watch the stars and this particular one would help." She points to one, Senku immediately knows it's the North star as she smiles.
"Just seeing this star is enough to calm down any restless thoughts. It brings me peace."
Turning her body to face him, sitting on her knees as he looks at her, "and now, this star is here. Right before me."
Their hands intertwined, she raises the back of his hand to her forehead, smiling softly before it slowly turns into a frown, her brows furrow as she places his hand down on her lap.
"...I wanted...I wanted to answer your question from before. If I was human or not."
Senku could tell she avoiding his eyes as she spoke, her gaze to the side and he knows the answer.
"You're not human, huh?"
She nods, looking ashamed.
"During the first two years before Suika was freed, I was alone, and with such silence, my memories of before started to come back." Gripping a hand to her chest, she continues. "I met a group of people back on Treasure Island and I spent countless years on it, watching as one by one died of old age or tragedy."
"Yet, I didn't age but Byakuya did. And when he too died, I was alone and consumed by my sadness that in the end, I sealed myself away. Years later, I met you."
He listens quietly before nodding. "Guess the one from your memories was my old man. How did he....?"
"In a river, collecting things from it incase his son ever needed it in the future." She smiles, "I told him I would do it and he didn't need to drain his energy but that day, I had got caught with something and he slipped away to the river. And when I found himβ"
She pauses as her brows furrow with confusion, "....I found him? I can't remember if I found him or the others did."
He could tell that her mind was unintentionally blocking out that specific moment. A sign that Byakuya's passing was too traumatic.
"I guess, the one he was talking about was you." They both looked at each other and she gives him a gentle smile.
"Funny how fate works, right?" She nods.
Neither of them say anything else, letting the silence do its thing. Senku could tell that [Name] felt anxious, squeezing his hand every few minutes as if he would disappear again.
"Our goal is still going to the moon." She looks up at him, frowning and she squeezes his hand again.
"....can't we just stay here and live our lives peacefully?" She asks quietly, hands trembling against his.
"Nope. Our goal is the moon, Why man is up there and if we don't do anything about him who knows when he'll send another petrification beam." He stands up, wiping his clothes before reaching down to help her up.
"You aren't going to ask why I wasn't affected like everyone else?" She refuses to look at him again, head down.
"Well, you're not humanβ"
"I don't want you to go to the moon because I'm afraid of what will be revealed if you meet Why Man."
"Does it really matter? To me, you're [Name]."
She looks up, tears swelling in her eyes.
"What if I told you....that I'm related to whatever is on the moon? Would you still think the same?"
"....yes. My thoughts and feelings for you won't change."
β
Stanley and the rest of his team were finally revived. Which meant, Senku, Kohaku and Stanley were chosen to go to the moon. Although Senku couldn't quite put a label to his relationship with [Name], it was clear she wasn't extremely fond of him. He remembers how her confession played out.
For those three days inside the space ship, being petrified, he thought of her.
"I want to stay by your side, to see the skies you've seen, to tread the paths you've walked...I want to understand what happiness really means.
When I first discovered these emotions, i didn't know what to do...but every moment by your side, i finally understand what I'm feeling...
I love you."
β
Standing before Why Man itself, Senku, Kohaku and Stanley prepare themselves.
But just as things started to get messy. Why Man spoke,Β "Unable to honor request. Abandonment is your kind's fate. My kind will seek other planets and more intelligent organisms."
The millions of petrification devices pause, "but we will not leave yet. We seek the keeper. We want the keeper."
The three look confused.
"Unable to fulfill request means your kind will beβ"
And then, a voice rang out behind them. Senku froze. No, she was supposed to be back on Earth not here.
"It's been so long, hasn't it?"
They all look to see [Name] walking towards them yet she wasn't wearing a space suit as if the laws of space didn't apply to her.
"I failed my mission."Β
Why man rushes past them, gathering around the woman before taking her in their grasps.
"[Name]!"
She looks back at Senku, smiling down at him with sadness.
"This is the only way to protect the stars....and you." Senku reaches for her, their fingers touching briefly before he watches as Why Man leaves, taking [Name] with them into the endless space.
"Thank you for making me feel human, my star. I'm sorry." Her voice calls out. And they were gone, silence and one petrification device that seemed to speak. Agreeing to stay with them.
When they had returned to Earth, while everyone cheered, he stood there numb, brain scattering for an explanation as to what happened up there.
All he had left for her was the hood she always wore, and the things he's given to her over the years. The bed they shared felt empty, everything felt empty and for once, he didn't know what to do.
