The Lost Bride is a reimagining of Bram Stoker’s iconic novel Dracula, where you have full control over the story.

Play as Mina and shape her fate. Customize her name, sexuality, personality, and relationships with everyone you meet.

Jonathan Harker (M): Your sweet fiancé who is currently in a land far away from that of your own.

Van Helsing (M/F): An experienced and knowledgeable Dutch hunter with a wide range of expertise.

Dracula (M/F): A mysterious Transylvanian noble with dark secrets.

i need you to know that the whole of the lost bride is incredible, truly. i loved every second of it! But (positive)

the... how do i put this without spoiling it for others... the last night between lucy and mina is just... words cannot even begin to describe. ive went back to it three times and its beautiful. start to stop from the door to the carriage, all of it, simply... staggering. amazing. im a sucker for a bit of best friends to lovers and that whole scene was so good it feels strange to be playing the demo for free. i havent written in a while so the depth of just how much i adore this scene is like a puddle, but i hope there is luck in all that you do and love in all that you see, since i dont see another way to thank you for your work

first of all, love Lucy's confession scene, absolutely heartwrenching that the worst part of it is not even the fear that MC doesn't feel the same but that she can't speak of her feelings to anyone. homoerotic best friends with internalized homophobia <3 can't wait to see how things develop with MC's upcoming marriage to Jonathan.

that said, do you have any plans to expand on our potential reactions to Lucy's confession eventually? i could accept Lucy interpreting anything but enthusiastic reciprocation as total rejection (making the outcomes basically the same), but i feel like there's a whole spectrum of MC reactions between "yes i love you too let's be together" or "no i only think of you as a friend" that's going totally unacknowledged. what about "i feel the same but i can't bear to betray Jonathan with an affair", or "my affection for you is also deeper than platonic but it is against God to act on these sinful carnal urges", or "if one of us had been born a man i'd marry you in a heartbeat but i can't see a future in pursuing something that we'd have to hide for the rest of our days", or even "i find you desperately beautiful but you're my dearest friend and i won't risk that for a dream that can't last"?

it doesn't have to be all or any of those, ofc, but *something* between those two extremes would feel more appropriate for many MCs, i think

Oh yes! I do plan to expand on it and not only that part, but quite a few others as well.

I didn't get a chance to do so due to time, as I didn't wanna keep ppl waiting for the update.

Once Chapter 6 part 2 is done, I'm going to take a little bit of time to focus on adding all the things I wanted to include, along with some of the feedback I have received. I also want to make sure the stats page is fully working and that the stats are balanced.

I want all of that to be done before I move on to Chapter 7. 🙏

What is on my list to do,

Add Jonathan's early scenes, where you can visit and spend time with him before he leaves for Transylvania.

Expand far more on Lucy's confession.

Add the cut Van Helsing's scenes.

Add some of Drac's cut scenes.

Fix the stats and the stats page. And add more flavour texts to them.

Hmm, there are other small stuff too, but so far the ones I listed are the main ones.

I'm so sorry but even after playing Chapter 5 but I think I still don't like Arthur 😭 probably doesn't help that I played suit wearing Mina who wants Lucy and beat him on both chess and fencing but uggghhhh his judgemental ass...I know his view is simply product of the time but he also can't be dissing my girl Van Helsing!!! Kind of hoping there'll be more opportunity to humble/prove him wrong in the future.

Fair lol Arthur can definitely be a judgmental ass. Tho he does have good in him.

Now you have got me wondering how everyone else feels about him.

My focus now shifts to finishing Chapter 6 Part 2. Once that's complete, we'll officially be halfway through the game. And after that, I'll be returning to Chapter 1 to add Jonathan's new scenes.

Hello hello I am so sorry for such a specific and selfish question but I usually always play through the game whenever there’s a public update, but now I don’t have much time, and I have decided to play through it all again when the update that contains the marriage and the smut with Jonathan comes out for the public lol( unless that was scrapped idk) It’s okay to call me a slut😌 Anyways, will that be next public chapter or was that this published one? Sorry for the long sentence in the beginning omg, and thank you for this amazing game🙏

I will say do wait up for the next public update. It shall include both the wedding and everything that happens afterwards.

I feel sorry for Lucy, not because we can reject her and leave her heartbroken, but because she is living in a society that looks down upon same gender relationships and she has no support of other point of references to understand that what she is feeling is normal, that she is not a freak, that yes, two women can love each other just like a man and a woman can.

Can I just say how much I adore Van Helsing? I find it really strange they are the least popular RO so far. I mean, they're perfect?? Their intensity, their roughness around the edges, their (not so) secret soft core? Well, more of an unorthodox vampire slayer / professor for me, I guess. Also, I just really love the thought how my Mina with the 100% cold stat, who's freaked out by the voices in her head and who is pretty much "thanks but no thanks" about Drac, will naturally drift closer and closer to Helsing. I mean, who you gonna call - I mean, ask for protection - when there's a vamp in town? So, besides being their adorable gruff self Helsing will become a safe place for her.

And don't even make me start on that parting kiss. Because, of course I kissed them!

But, omg, next chapter will hurt, I mean, poor Jonathan! After all the things he went through only to know that not only the woman he loved agreed to marry him just for the semblance of stability and social appropriance, but that she also presumably met the love of her life somewhere between him being tortured and SA-ed.

Well, on the bright side, at least Drac will have no more reason to come after him, now that he's not technically a rival, right?...

Please, just tell me Jonathan is gonna be alright. As much as I love Van Helsing, my heart just breaks for the lad.

i just finished the new update and i really liked it, especially the Lucy scenes (even more the naughty scene...) besides this i also really liked the jealousy options, especially the one where MC can stares daggers at John. all of these make me think of a hypothetical ending, where Dracula is defeated, but MC continues the cycle with Lucy.

i have one spoilery question (feel free to ignore it if you dont want/cant answer it): since Lucy had quite some screentime, should i expect a "Lucy-drought" in the next (few) chapter(s)? as in Lucys presence (in person &in thoughts) will be none/very low compared to the other RO´s.

Just played Chapter 5 and I had to take a walk because I was going insane. I love it! I can't wait to see my hubby Jonathan again. He's a sweetheart.

And that Lucy confession scene was great. I'm queer and I definitely relate to Lucy's anguish. I'm glad we can still be friends even when the MC is not romancing her. I really enjoy Lucy as a character even though she is not my preferred LI.

Van Helsing definitely got to shine in this chapter. I love the kiss! I don't know what's more fun, playing a witty vixen MC who surprises Van Helsing with her boldness or playing a gentle and timid proper lady who gets Van Helsing to put his/her cigar away lol

I think Van Helsing might be my favorite LI after this chapter, tbh. I love older LIs.

I'm working on Jonathan's scenes in chapter 6 at the moment, and I cannot wait to show it. I'm especially excited to add his early scenes. I think they shall add so much to him.

I felt so bad writing Lucy's confession, more so if you reject her or call her out. I will say tho that way that night ended with her is going to have an effect later on.
