QUESTIONS/ANSWERS ABOUT THE ZINE!
What is a Zine?
A zine is a self published book/magazine created by an individual (like me!) or a group (you guys!) they are usually a small DIY book, small art magazine, or curated ebook! They often focus on niche, personal, or pop culture content!
What is the purpose/goal of a Caine-centric Zine?
This zine will be celebration and collaborative effort to show our love for a certain AI Ringmaster! The only goal is to show and pour our little hearts out!
What is self/yume shipping and will it be included?
This zine will include self/yumeshipping where individuals who like/love a certain character so much that they will include themself in some form within canon! In this zine it has come in the form of artwork and writing about an individual’s interest in Caine!
What is a E-zine and will this zine have a physical copy?
A E-zine is an electronic copy of a magazine! Think PDF file or ebook! Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to make a physical version that would require a much larger team to handle especially if it’s for profit, charity or even has additional merchandise! I will revisit this idea in the future so stay tuned after the wrapping up for this one! Consider this a trial period!

This is a for profit zine! However, most of it will be going back to funding the printing services and merchandise for the zine!
When do applications open?
The application period has not been opened yet! This zine is still in the organization/planning stage but shortly a week from now or until the timer on the original interest vote ends! I do have a set date to be ready by March 18th tho!
How to apply/participate?
The first stage of when applications open I will have a link to direct y’all to a google form that you will be filling out! Make sure to read all the information there and fill it correctly this first application period is more of a formality but necessary to know how many of you will be officially participating!
What can I submit?
The second stage of applications will be for art submissions and while they haven’t been open yet… you can submit absolutely anything! Artwork, writing, animation, photography, etc. as long as it’s Caine related you are free to submit your work! When official applications for art submissions begin you’ll have the option to submit either SFW or NSFW (or both!) but it can only be 1 submission per section!
How will the SFW and NSFW work be sectioned?
2 books will be made available!
The SFW version | The lover with a heart
Will have all the SFW material available and NOT include any of the NSFW content!
The NSFW version | The lover’s after hours
Will have the all the SFW content and NSFW content! There will be a label in place when the NSFW begins as a final warning!
If all entries are accepted how will submitting an animation or audio file go?
For these sorts of submissions you will be required to upload the video or audio file to a streaming service (YouTube, SoundCloud, or TikTok) and I’ll have redirected links embedded into the section of your submission in the zine.
I’m a beginner artist but I still want to join am I allowed to?
Yes! I know that everyone has to start somewhere so I will be making a dedicated section for my beginner artists… though this means you won’t have a spread or page to yourself but will be sharing with other beginners in small spaces. Everyone has to start somewhere and personally I am NOT a fan of excluding beginner artists! All artists of any skill level should be celebrated and this zine was made for the purpose of loving!
However, if you consider yourself a beginner but I deem you skilled enough your art will go under my review and I’ll decide if you get a page to yourself or not!
Am I still able to drop out of the zine if I can’t complete my work?
Yes! If by chance you want to drop out of the zine send me a message with the name you’ll put in the application and I’ll gladly remove you from the participant’s list!
Are you really only one person organizing this?
Yes! While it may seem like a lot I actually already have experience hosting and handling artwork for events and closed circles alike! So no need to fear this zine will not be dropped randomly!
