DICK GRAYSON¡:
Everyone is worth the opportunity of saving, Dick knows that. Itâs something he learned so long ago, something heâs always just known. Besides, all differences aside - Lex isnât always bad. He did save Dickâs life from that damn bomb, after all. In a manner of speaking, at least. âCâmon, you know it doesnât work that way.â Dick reminds him with a furrowed forehead, shaking his head as he glances around at the thugs whoâd caught Lex in the first place. âThe authorities will take it from here. You better stick around too, theyâre going to want a statement. And you should get checked out by the medics.â
IT WOULD'VE been fine perhaps, if lex had nothing to hide â which might've been the case if he drove to the docks for no other reason than to enjoy the view of ships and cargo. "i'm fine." he replies, curtly. "and i'd rather not have gotham's police department involved here." it's a stretch to hope nightwing would go along with lex's vague need for discretion but it would be near impossible to conceal anything once a third patry comes in. "not yet, at least."
