forcemeadow:
â he saw the flash of something like ADMIRATION flash in the bright eyes of the iso, before it faded away and the girl took upon herself to put on a more polished facade â a COLDER one, if one would go as far to call it so. he reacted in no visible form to it, but he did stash the information in his mind, for knowing details about your new padawanâs personality could be very much vital to the progress made in a master-apprentice relationship. listening to her measured words, he nodded briefly to acknowledge them visibly.
âhe certainly will, young one.â he affirmed, smiling lightly at the youth â a reassuring smile, characteristic of a friendly master. in a way, both jedi were playing their ROLES. âi hope for nothing more as well.â turning his head to pay attention to a small beep coming from his datapad, he assessed the information while his ears still paid mind to the young jedi nearby. it was nothing URGENT, merely a small update regarding statistics. at her remark about his appearance, however, he trailed his eyes back to her â no offense taken, but CURIOSITY showing softly in his visage.
a small laugh came from the lips of the older jedi, accompanied by a small SHAKE of his head. âah, worry not. i have taken no offense on your words, though i was perhaps amused by the data you seemed to want to share about my species. CURIOUS, if youâd rather call it so.â he offered her a more sincere smile this time around, certain that the new padawan was now feeling self-conscious due to her own small slip. there was no POINT however for him to be upset over such simple thing when they were amidst a war.Â
he paused, regarding the girl for a moment before continuing to speak. âi do appreciate your CONCERN, though i assure you i am fine as it is. iâve grown USED to this weather myself, after a week in this planet. i suppose that happens when you grow used to traveling all over the galaxy. you will soon see it for yourself.â there was absolutely no harshness in his tone, only a casual enunciation of words as he tapped away at his pad.
She let out a small sigh of relief when she realized sheâd caused no emotional damage. She had to be more careful if she was going to prevent herself from making that kind of mistake again...
Her ears had picked up on the small beep of the datapad, but since she saw no change in his face she figured it wasnât that big of an emergency, and if it was he was pretty amazing at hiding any signs of being alarmed, but she went with the first of the two theories. âWell Master Flynn always said I had my mind buried in holocrons instead of the living force.â she said with a small chuckle when he pointed out her use of knowledge.
âI find I can spend countless hours drowned in facts and stories.â she explained unable to hide her enthusiasm in her thirst for knowledge. âMaster Flynn always told me knowledge was not the same as wisdom, but I argued that it never hurt to expand your mind and learn either.â she said with a soft giggle as her mind went back to the fond memory.Â
She then cleared her throat and nodded her head when he mentioned he appreciated her concern and a small smile graced her lips for a short moment. âIâm a hundred percent sure that youâd be right about that.â she said in response to him saying sheâd learn soon herself when she had the chance to travel. Her tone not cold nor warm, she was simply letting him know she agreed with him.
As she looked around the makeshift headquarters she spoke once more:
âIf Iâm not mistaken...youâre running short on fuses to keep the power generators rolling yes?â she asked as she looked back at him. It was an observation sheâd made from the moment she arrived. The lights flickered constantly, it wasnât enough to be aware of, but she had spotted it immediately. âNo doubt youâve already asked for another shipment to be sent with supplies, but perhaps I could offer my knowledge and services and help what fuses you have to last a bit longer?â she asked while returning her attention to him.

forcemeadow:
â orto plutonia was not a kind planet, not even in its best days, but by now, after weeks of climatizing oneself to the weather, kenobi found himself capable of thinking as sharply as usual without the constant bothersome reminder of a chill that seemed content to set itself deep into his very BONES. his gear was comfortable enough, too, certainly more than that of his soldiers, given his rank (which was a bother â he needed his soldiers away from a frostbitten state if he wanted to make progress), but nothing could ever truly cover oneâs body from such HARSH CLIMATE.Â
he had been sent a message from the council a week or less ago, a holomessage by master yoda himself, assigning him to a new padawan, whose master had died before completing her training. she was of a rare sentient species, in what came to force sensitives, and the grand master had made sure to relay enough details to make him aware of what ground heâd be stepping on â grieving younglings could be reckless and rebellious, and as someone who had lost his master himself, he could perhaps RELATE to her pain, even if he had not been assigned to any other jedi after qui-gonâs death.Â
before quorra entered the makeshift hq where he was laying his strategy plans down for his commanders, he felt the presence of a new force sensitive breach through his mental radar. that must be her, he thought to himself while he kept with his explanations. finishing his debriefing rather swiftly (and as eloquently as ever, he hoped), he was done by the time she had taken to the room, only fiddling with his datapad to see their current status â troopers alive, food & available water, plus medical resources. it was all REQUIRED material if he was meant to keep on pressing on this offensive.Â
the soft voice that rang, full of uncertainty, coming from behind him, had him pry his eyes of the pad he was holding to turn around on his heels. âah, hello quorra. i had been informed youâd be coming by the council. it is a pleasure to meet you.â he smiled at her, though exhaustion was clear on his features. nothing unexpected for someone with his responsabilities, really.Â
âas you know, i am obi-wan kenobi and i will take charge of your jedi training from now on. my condolences for your late master, i hope we can get along well.â his voice was as warm as he could muster under his circumstances and he hoped the girl did not mind his attempt of sensitivity. knitting his brows together for a moment while he assessed her state, he then offered, sympathetic to her condition. ââwould you like some caf or any sort of extra gear for the cold? you seem to be freezing, young one.â
For a split moment she was awestruck probably because sheâd been dreaming of meeting a master like Kenobi her whole life. The only ones she knew personally who was just as keen in the ways of the force, were Yoda who taught her as a youngling and Windu who had made a special connection with her when he found her. Immediately her mind brushed away the starstruck mentality, her logical ISO brain reworking and telling her there was no need for frivolities.Â
âThank you for your condolences Master Kenobi.â she said in a more serious tone as her mind quickly shifted to her late master. âMaster Flynn will be sorely missed.â Again her mind negated thinking on it for too long, never really allowing her to become emotional over her loss of Master Flynn. âbut Iâm most excited to learn from you and I too hope weâll get along well.â she said with a nod of her head, changing the subject and offering him a weak, but warm smile of her own.Â
Already the gears in her mind were shifting, calculating everything in her environment and him as well. It was part of her nature to be analytical. âWell, Iâm sure Iâll adjust soon...Iâve just never really experienced cold weather before...at least...nothing like this.â she said with a small chuckle. âbut thank you for the offer, however I promise Iâll be fine.â she reassured him with another nod of her head.Â
âI think itâs I who should be asking about you...you seem rather worn down.â she said as luminous blue eyes took in his facial features. âWhich is typical of your species given the harsh environment and conditions.â she said a little coldly. She couldnât help it, it was her way of trying to empathize, but she had a long way to go in terms of learning to be a little more subtle and kinder with her version of âsympathyâ...
Thankfully she caught herself, it was almost as if a miniature version of Master Flynn was floating in her mind telling her that wasnât the way to go about things. She winced and gave him an apologetic look. âI didnât mean anything bad by that...Iâm sorry.â she apologized. âItâs just that I spend a lot of time reading up on other species and I know humans can only take so much.â she said trying to explain herself so her comment wouldnât seem so harsh or make her seem as though she thought humans were inferior.
...so much for making a good first impression...

@forcemeadowâÂ
Sheâd been on pins and needles about it all day, and her nerves were starting to get the better of her, but this was no time to go into a panic. It wasnât everyday youâd get this kind of assignment, but she had to handle it with dignity...or as much dignity as her nerves would allow her...
When sheâd been told she was to train with Jedi Master, Obi Wan, Quorra almost went through the roof with glee, but now...now she wasnât sure.
What if she wasnât good enough? What if he was too different from Master Flynn? What if she was too reckless for him? What if he didnât like her? What if they clashed? Would he send her away immediately?
It was question after question and no matter how hard she tried to quiet her mind it simply wasnât happening. Brilliant blue eyes, that carried a natural luminescence of their own gazed out from her transporter in anticipation. âMaster Flynn...if you can hear me...I need your guidance more than ever.â she whispered to the nothingness around her. Itâd been months after losing her Master to Dooku, but she could swear she felt the eclectic manâs presence whenever she seemed to feel lost.Â
Sheâd been taken to Orto Plutonia, a vast freezing wasteland of a planet, because it was where her new Master would be waiting for her. The bitter cold winds that blew through the transport chilled her to the bone, despite the gear sheâd been wearing. âHow could anything live out here?â, she thought as the transport finally landed...
A clone trooper with yellow markings came out to greet the young 17 year old. âYou must be the new blood.â he said with a laugh. Thankfully the winds had died down enough for her to hear him. âIâm Commander Cody. General Kenobi is waiting for ya inside.â he said while nodding his head to a makeshift HQ.Â
Inside the temperature was freezing...not as cold as outside, but enough to keep her shivering. That was when she saw him..well, the back of him. She went numb and she wasnât sure if it was the cold her her nerves finally giving up on her. She stood there frozen for a moment before taking a deep breath and walking up to him. âM-master K-kenobi.â she said feeling her teeth chatter some. âCome on! First impressions are important!â, she mentally yelled to herself. âI-Iâm, your new Padawan learner, Quorra.â she said forcing her voice to find some strength as she bowed her head in a respectful manner.Â

The New Master || Quorra & Anakin
   @gcncralxskywalkerâ
Needless to say Quorra wasn't a hundred percent excited about the news of her new master. Ever since Master Flynn had passed on, the young padawan had been passed on from one Master to another, and while it had been tiring, she didnât expect her to end up here...with him as her teacher...
Everyone knew General Skywalker...everyone. Quorra was no different from the rest, and all the stories she heard scared her out of her own mind. From what sheâd learned, the man was reckless, a loose cannon, a chaotic whirlpool of a Jedi..and well after having someone like Master Flynn who was very zen and calm...this was going to be one hell of a transition...
Still, she was geared up to learn what she could from him.  In Quorraâs eyes every experience contained a lesson, after all it was Master Flynn had taught her.Â
The flight to Geonosis was nerve wracking, probably because she was nervous to meet her new master. âHeâs just a man like anyone else...calm down.â she mumbled to herself as she boarded her carrier when her ship landed on the dusty red planet. It would seem that her first lesson would be out on the field, for things were getting kind of tight on Geonosis and she was being sent with a battalion of fresh clone troopers to Skywalkerâs location to provide him with backup.Â
Once they reached the basecamp Quorra hopped off the carrier and allowed the force to guide her to the largest presence she could sense. That was another thing about him, he had an aura that almost stretched a mile wide...at least finding him would never be too difficult of a task. She spotted the man standing with a few clones going over a holomap of sorts and went still.
There was still time to turn around and run right?
No...she couldnât do that. She had to face her challenges head on, running would get her nowhere...
Taking a deep breath she steeled herself and made her way over and when he was done speaking she politely interrupted him. âMaster Skywalker.â she said nodding her head in formal greeting. âI am your new padawan learner, Quorra.â she said introducing herself to him.Â

new on the field || quorra & ahsoka
×° âGood to hear that somebody else also shares my passion for food,â Ahsoka replied, the corners of her mouth curving into a smile. Partly due to the fact that her stomach would be making horrible noises any minute, and her mouth watering, she, without waiting for a response, headed out of the medical base and straight to the âkitchenâ. Of course, it was no real kitchen, but it was enough to satisfy the troopers and Jediâs needs when it came to nutrition. As she took herself the liberty of grabbing two cups and pouring hot caf into it, she got around to answer Quorraâs question. âObi-Wan, huh? If youâre looking for some good stories, that are just as strange as entertaining, then I suggest talking with Anakin.â A cheeky smile was sent to the other, along with a wink, as she put the cups down on the table, ready to dig into the food.
âThough I suppose that wasnât the the answer you were looking forâ, she continued, before taking a big bite. âBut yeah, heâs a really calm gu-Master. His strategy actually kind of resembles yours.â It was true. Obi-Wan was a Jedi with a great deal of patience. Instead of making rushed decisions, like both Anakin and her has a tendecy to do, he keeps his cool, always making sure that his decision is a decision without big or many consequences.
âAlways tells me to reflect and think everything through. He isnât a big fan of doing something without a proper planâ, she explained, halfway through her meal. âThough he is also very kind and gentle, though with a dry sense of humor, so proceed at your own risk.â There was no denying in it, the young padawan was fond of Master Kenobi, but in her eyes, he certainly couldnât compare to her own master. Somehow, she had never been able to really get the hang of Obi-Wanâs humor. Though when it came to Ani, she was quite literally unstoppable. âBut from what Iâve seen today, Iâm sure you guys will get along just fine.â An encouraging smile was given, before her mouth and lips returned to more important tasks, such as, eating.
Just as she was about to to stand up in order to refill her plate, the sound of footsteps approaching echoed throughout the room. âSpeak of the devilâ, the Togruta muttered under her breath, feeling the presence of her master. And of course, another invidual. And that could only be Obi-Wan. She sat down again, before turning to face the newcomers. âYou just missed the action, boys.â ×°
Quorra followed the young padwan to the makeshift kitchens where the soldiers and Jedi were able to grab a meal. It wasnât luxury dining by any means, not that she was used to that either, but after a long day of using oneâs energy, it was nice to grab a meal and rebuild oneâs stamina. She grabbed herself a bowl of food and followed after her listening intently as she spoke. Mentioning Skywalker was a given. True she could speak with him if she wanted to hear any outlandish stories, but she was more curious to know of the manâs personality, and Anakinâs opinion would be biased.
As Ahsoka continued to speak she gained the answers sheâd been searching for. They had a like mentality? That alone made her heart flutter some. For as long as Quorra could remember she admired Obi Wan greatly. The first time sheâd met him she was just a youngling but from that day on she never forgot him. When she mentioned theyâd probably get along she was hopeful. Though she wasnât sure how sheâd act, it was one thing to admire someone from afar, but meeting them was another matter entirely.
Still Quorra did her best to conceal her anxiety and quietly ate until the Togrutaâs voice caught her attention once more...
You just missed the action, boys...
She stopped chewing almost instantly...well that escalated quickly. She had heard that they were on their way, but she hadnât expected the two Jedi to show up so soon...
âIâm sure I can make up for whatever I missed...youâre not beating my score, just yet Snips.â Skywalker said as the classic smug grin graced his features. The knight glanced down at his padawanâs bandaged arm and his brow furrowed some. âLooks like you had some trouble.â he said his tone half teasing, but laced with a deep amount of concern. As he looked at Ahsoka for a moment his attention shifted momentarily. âWhoâs the new kid?â he asked in regards to Quorra.Â
Quorra frowned slightly but it was gone as soon as it had come. Who was he calling kid? She wiped her mouth before getting up to introduce herself. âJedi knight Quorra at your service.â she said as she bowed in respect. âThe council received your request for aid and sent me to provide you with any help I could.â she explained.Â
back in the grid || quorra & sora
â â
It had been quite some time since Sora entered the grid. What use to be known as Space Paranoids, the whole computer network seemed different somehow. It was much more advanced in technology and Sora couldnât help but stare up at it all in awe.
It didnât seem like there were any heartless around, but he couldnât be too sure. It seemed like there was something going on though, so he had to keep his guard up.
It took the boy everything in his power not to shout as he was suddenly yanked out of the street and into the shadows. But it was light enough that he was able to make out a womanâs face.
âHowâd I get here?â Sora repeated and thought about it. âWellâŚ. I wanted to see how Tron was doing, but he never responded to me. So I thought Iâd come in here myself and find out why. I thought maybe he was in trouble.â
The keyblade master blinked as the program touched his hair, but he grinned. âAre you a friend of Tronâs too?â
She could see the confusion in his eyes and knew well enough he was lost. Part of her was suspicious of this. Perhaps he didnât load into the grid on his own. Maybe something brought him in....
....but what?
âNot exactly I never knew Tron personally, I know he was the hero of the grid...but heâs no longer part of this world.â she said with a solemn tone. âCLU destroyed him many cycles ago.â she explained. âI donât know how you got in here, I saw you load into Tron City and decided itâd be best to come and get you before a Recognizer showed up. Users are no longer welcomed in the grid. CLU has made a decree against them, and if he finds out youâre here heâll send reinforcements to have you derezzed.â she said with a frown.Â
âCome on weâve gotta get out of the city before itâs too late.â she added in an urgent tone as she grabbed his hand once more and began to lead him through the alleyways.

littlesnips:
×° âYou betcha!â the padawan said, a proud smile forming on her face. âIâve even beaten Anakinâs score a couple of times,â she stated, âthough he will most likely deny it, should you bring it up.â Ahsoka couldnât exactly blame him, after all, who would want to admit the fact that your own padawan could easily kick your ass?
A seat was taken in front of the medical desk, her experienced hands getting to work, getting ready to patch herself up. âYeah, Iâm fine,â she replied, an assuring smile sent to the Jedi. âJust need to fix this bandage and then wait until we get to a medcenter.â Thanks to a lot of practice when it came to stitching her wounds up, the job was done in a matter of seconds. She got up from the chair, washing the dirt and blood off her scarred hands.
âWhat about you?â the young one inquired, before checking the other woman for any major injuries. Though luckily it seemed that she was in good condition and that no particular harm had come her way.
A quick briefing was given over to her Master over the communication panel. The intel they received was that both Obi-Wan and Anakin would soon arrive, ready to instruct them on their next move. Ahsoka turned around, once again facing Quorra. âI think Iâm gonna grab some food and caf,â the Togruta stated. âYou care to accompany me?â
She laughed some when she heard the Togruta mentioned her score was higher than that of her masterâs. âNow thatâs mind blowing seeing as how your master is known for being a beast in the field.â she said with a giggle. She had heard tales of the young General. Anakin Skywalker was a force to be reckoned with, so to hear his padawan was just as aggressive didnât surprise her too much. However Ahsoka was still rather young, so to see that amount of skill in a padawan learner was a little intimidating.Â
She watched as Ahsoka seemed to patch her own arm up without much problem. Again another impressive trait the young padawan seemed to have. She was simply full of surprises. The younger girl seemed to be a season soldier in the few months sheâd spent out in the battlefield. When Ahsoka inquired about any injuries Quorra might have had she shook her head.Â
âIâm fine, just a few cuts and scratches, but nothing major. Iâm rather cautious out in the field, often Iâm the agressive sort in a battle, but Iâve learned that agression here can get you killed. So...clearing your mind, analyzing the battle and letting the mind work like that of a machine are what help me prevent myself from gaining any serious injuries.â she explained. âItâs a method my master taught me that I never thought Iâd get to use.â she added with a chuckle and a shake of her head. If only Master Flynn could see her now...
âYouâre going to learn that Iâm always up for getting food.â she said with a soft giggle. âSo yes lets. Iâm starving I could eat an entire bantha.â she said with another laugh. âSo um...youâve spent a great deal of time with Master Obi Wan right?â she asked as a small blush stained her face. âWhatâs he like?â she asked.Â

The droid was being humble. Actually, he was telling it exactly how he saw it. Threepio had never truly acknowledged how well he played chess mostly on account he had no burning desire to play such games.
âChess? I canât say Iâm too good at it, but Iâm willing to give anything a try.â she said with a small chuckle. âThen again I was never a pro at checkers either.â she added in a thoughtful tone. âWho knows, you just might teach me a thing or two.â she said while looking back to the droid.Â
âAlright threepio.â she said with a grin. âLetâs play a game of chess then, that is if it wonât be too much of a bother.â she added as she realized that in her excitement in meeting the droid she didnât know if she was causing any trouble or inconvenience for him.Â
