Colette trying to get information on the Rose in hopes of proving that the king is still a monster/ prove that his son is the exact same, is just my favorite thing cause she’s so determined at first then just slowly gets involved with like, Archery and learns she can be her own person is just...it’s *chef’s kiss*

Cedrick stopped in his tracks. Yes, at times he was wondering around Auradon Prep, making sure he got an impression of every new person that had come to their side of the land. And yes, even at times he was looking at people. He didn’t mean to stare in a rude way but apparantly, that’s what she thought happened. “I’m actually really sorry.” he apologized, knowing for sure she didn’t enjoy it at all. He could hear at her tone. “I didn’t mean to be rude. I guess, I am just trying to remember everyone’s face whoa rrived here since the big day. But I do fnd myself havign trouble with that.” he softly chuckled. “Would you mind telling me your name?” he asked her with a smile.

       Eyes narrow at his words, arms cross over her chest. She waits a moment or two because there’s a second where she thinks he’s joking. “Memorizin’ faces? THAT’S what you were doing? Why is everyone here so weird?” Especially since she DID know who he was, at least by name. “One day you’re going to stare at the wrong person and they’re not going to be nice enough to give you a warning like I was.” IF one could consider what she’d done as an act of kindness. “Colette. I’m Colette LeGume. I’m assuming you’re Cedrick? I’ve heard of ya’, thought you were supposed to be more handsome.”

        “Monsieur LeFou.” Oh it’s a RARE day where her usual hostility seems to be much less apparent, she’s obviously a bit distraught and while Colette does lash out at the man from time to time {a bias placed on her by her father}, she also knows that, when advice is needed, perhaps he’s the only one she feels she can go to. “You got a minute?”

       “somethin’ on my face?” colette snaps in a harsh tone. She’s not particularly in a bad mood, or at least she wasn’t until just a few moments ago, but the huntress hadn’t been adjusting well to being in auradon, much less in CLASSES, surrounded by princesses and princes who she SWORE had been staring her down since she arrived.

          “cause if you look at me again, I’ll make you wish you’d stayed in bed today.”
