my last cat was so massive... she was 24lbs when we got her and we could only get her down to 18lbs. the vet was like "yeah she's just kinda huge she won't get much smaller" lol. But these new ones are only 10lbs and apparently that's slightly overweight? they feel like they weigh nothing. they can jump on me in the middle of the night and I barely notice. dainty little things

I haven't posted in a bit while dealing with my cat. She was able to go really peacefully with me and my husband there. We cried for a few days but couldn't stand how empty the house felt, so we adopted a pair of sisters :) I still miss my last cat like crazy but these new girls are so sweet and have adjusted so fast! I love animals so much man they're so awesome

She’s gone now. I think we gave her the best day possible - she got to lay in the sun, I made sure to brush her (she LOVES being brushed), and we spent all day in bed cuddling her. She seemed really tired and ready to go but I already miss her so much ♥️

found out our cat has cancer. she won't eat at all now, even with multiple types of appetite stimulants. I can't keep making her hungry when she won't eat so we have to put her down tomorrow. please give your furry friends a hug today for me.

at least today she got spend time laying in the sun while I brushed her (her favorite in the summer after a dark PNW winter). she's been purring non-stop. the vet's coming to our apartment so she can be in the little blanket bed I make for her on the couch every night.
