The Yogi remains unaffected by criticism, acclaim, praise, or blame. He is impervious to the attacks of his adversaries. Because his confidence and ability comes from within. Many people are seeking degrees to prove their values to employers and many still fail to secure good jobs. This is because a piece of paper, will never increase a person’s self-confidence. For confidence in ourselves, we must look deep within. The mental ability and physical vigor will wane with age. Yet beyond these outer aspects of our experience, there is a Divine spark within, which is eternal. When we can see this in our meditations, the concerns about the outer experiences drop. When we rely upon this spark of Divinity within ourselves, no outer obstacle can stop us.
