promo commissions!

so here’s the dealio. i’ve been sick for the last 6 months. i had a virulent intestinal infection which i’m told is finally gone yet i’m still suffering a lot of pain and discomfort and meds aren’t helping yet.

as many of you guys may know i do theme commissions and they are my one and only way to make an income. even before my infection i was unable to work due to both physical and mental hardships (if you want more of an explanation on that feel free to ask me in private) and through these last 6 months i’ve barely been able to make themes at all, therefore having little to no income coming in. where i used to do at least a few themes a month, i’ve completed only 2 themes since march and have been struggling to work through another as my health has been even worse more recently.

while thankfully i have a roof over my head and food in the fridge anything else i need has had to be neglected because i just don’t have any money. since i haven’t been able to complete any themes recently i’ve decided to try and do a push for some promo commissions to come in to at least make a bit of money in a much shorter timeframe. themes used to only take me around a week at most but promos i can usually do a few in a day and even more if i’m inspired. i miss being inspired and working. not only has my health made it physically hard to sit up and be on the computer to work but it’s made coming up with new ideas for themes really difficult too. i consider myself an artist at heart and when everything is shit it’s hard to create my art ya feel?

so long story short i am offering all kinds of promo or regular graphic (like mobile headers etc) commissions at what i consider fair prices. if you are interested please send me an IM and if it’s not something you can afford please do me the huge favor of reblogging this to get the word out? thank you ♥

Regina jumped, clearly startled when he cleared his throat behind her. She dropped the make-shift curtain and spun to look at him with a faint smile. “It’s more than I could have hoped for,” she tried to argue with the way he depreciated his offering, wandering back over the couch to have a seat. Her coat shrugged off as she sat, feeling the warmth of his radiator finally starting to seep into the chilled air. “It looks like it’s been loved,” she commented, spotting a weak spot in a cushion that caved in like a bowl. She laughed a little and shook her head. “Quite a lot,” she added in a low murmur. 

She could make out Rocky taking in hsi new surroundings with a disapproving haughtiness, and tried scratching at the couch to get his attention. However the offended feline simply glared at her before disappearing behind the door she could only assume led to her host’s bedroom. 

“Hm?” she asked, having gotten distracted with worry, wondering how she would get her cat out of there before he did something to get the both of them evicted, in turn not really hearing what was being said. She looked at Jefferson, and the cereal in hand, and tilted her head. “I’ve…never had them,” she replied, almost as if it were a question of her own. She was hungry, however, and it seemed wrong to deny his kindness simply because her mother had never believed in sugary cereals. Slowly smiling, she nodded.

While he saw to serving, Regina tucked her feet up under her on the couch and glanced around. “Do you live here alone?” she asked of him, her gaze drifting slowly and anxiously to the ajar door her cat had disappeared into.

Jefferson's expression was like one out of a cartoon at her response; each brow finding an exaggerated position, both different and equally ridiculous as he stared at her across the small apartment. "Never had Lucky Charms? Where have you been living?" He tried to contain his shock somewhat, it was only cereal after all, but it was strange to hear nonetheless. He'd basically lived off the stuff since he'd moved in.

"I'm afraid I'll have to insist you try it," he said in a more mock-shocked sort of way, giving her a look like wherever she'd been must have been crazy. He filled two bowls and surprisingly found a second spoon to match the only one he ever used, and grabbed the milk carton to bring with so she could pour it herself. "Yeah I do," he answered on the walk back over to the couch with bowls in hand, milk tucked under his arm. He handed her a bowl before taking a seat himself, cracking the carton open to pour his milk; "I didn't know how much you'd want, personally I like it extra crunchy so I don't add much. That and it saves me having to buy milk all that often."

It was weird how, frankly, at ease he felt. Or more accurately how at ease he felt being nice to a girl for reasons not connected to getting her into bed at the soonest possible point. He wasn't all that good at just making friends with one, and maybe he shouldn't have been trying at all; this girl wasn't going to be sticking around to be his friend anyway, but it was a nice enough change, he guessed. Handing over the carton, it was then that he saw the now open carrier on the floor.

"You are keeping an eye on him, right?"

There were plenty of reasons not to be doing this. Her own pride topping the list, but if in the morning he remembered none of it, and only she was left with the weight, how terrible could it really be? How much scorn would she suffer from seeking comfort and pleasure from a man who by all rights likely wanted her dead, when he would neither realize his hate nor remember what was exchanged? She ached for something. Anything. A reminder of why she’d ever cast this wretched curse. If she could not have the satisfaction of her own happiness, at least she could revel in the loss of it in everyone else. And while Jefferson had already more or less paid his debt with her, there was still a lingering spark. A memory that could not be scrubbed out. A love once known and like a splinter, embedded deep beneath the callouses of her black heart. 

Regina groaned loudly, her fingers jerking against his hair when his teeth roughly took her in, the sudden jolt of pain and pleasure somehow reawakening her to the reality of their situation. She couldn’t allow herself to succumb too fully to past feelings for him. Though even as she chided her pounding heart, she knew the battle was quickly being lost. Mastering her emotions had never been something she was especially skilled at. 

Letting go of her hold on his hair, Regina let them slide down to his back, pressing the tips of her fingers into the flesh of his bare shoulders, leaving white indentations around them for the pressure she applied. She needed an anchor. Something. Anything. Any means of keeping herself in control. A deep frown began to crease her brow as she fought against the pleasure he was igniting, just from something so meager and simple as this, feeling her cheeks flush for how aroused she already was, and how evident it would be to him when he bothered to venture to more intimate territories.

She disliked feeling so much at another’s mercy. She found it terrifying, to be honest. And though she tried to remind herself that, despite being without magic, she was still the one in power here; Jefferson’s uncanny ability to find the single strand required for her complete unraveling somehow had eluded the the curse’s grasp. And the fact that she was not only allowing this to continue on, but enjoying it – despite that fear –  well, perhaps in a moment she would find the clarity of mind to make the right choice. But for now, she would choose to allow this man who had ruined her and broken her beyond repair to touch her as if he had any right. Because she was lonely. And because no matter how little sense it made, when he kissed her, even as this person who was no longer him, she felt.  Felt something more than misery, and it had been nearly a decade since last she’d felt anything at all.

There’s an almost discernible shift beneath his lips. That in a kiss she’s somehow changed, a feeling that she relaxes, barely perceptible but it’s there. As though she’s been holding a breath and finally let it out. His teeth retract so only lips have contact again, lavishing her in a way that is beyond shame. If he lets himself realize this shame it will be over, the weight too great to bear without turning on her and so in an expert depiction of insanity he’s able to ignore it entirely, focusing a near deadly passion on her in its place. Deadly to them both if he wields it improperly.

The hand is his hair keeps his focus narrowed, tight and unrelenting and he only hopes it will stay that way. As a means to possibly ensure it does he moves down a little farther, still focusing his attention on her breast but showing the slightest threat that he could stop, pull away and leave her wanting if she doesn’t keep him in her grip. It’s the only kind of threat he can possibly let through and he relishes in it like it were so much more threatening.

A hand joins his work again, sliding from her stomach down to wedge itself between her legs, a few glancing brushes on her thighs as though that’s all he intends to do. But it isn’t, and it’s evident just as quickly, his hand upturning itself to brush higher, more gentle and intimate in its exploring. He’s glad to see that his attention has not gone unnoticed, that she is still as expressive as she ever was. All that’s left is to hear his name and he will have her right back where he left her, all that time ago.

At first his effort to put her there is slight, as if he cares to ease her back in, with only the gentle caress of fingers sliding against her and nothing more. But it’s a charade in itself, done only for as long as it takes for him to kiss a lazy trail back up to her neck, to feel her pulse beneath his lips before he pushes one and then two fingers inside her, groaning out against her neck for the warmth he still feels there, and how terribly familiar a warmth it is.

Kisses his wife as only he can

There was something so tender in the way his hands brushed against her, and how his lips claimed her own. As if they hadn’t done so countless times over, or that they had not been reunited on this very same night countless years ago, only to fall prey to a toxic hatred for one another, fueled by hurt and need. Yet somehow they’d come far enough to be here. Secure. Safe. Full of love for one another; it was honestly something she had once believed would never be a possibility for them. She enjoyed the privacy of their union. The raw intimacy that was only them. Rather than force themselves into a crowded bar or diner, surrounded by people neither of them could stand, they did as they always did; stayed home. Hidden away from the tortuous reminders of what might have been, had either of them been stronger, or better – instead simply accepting what was. They had one another and it was all that was needed. Music played soft and aimless in the background of their home, something she couldn’t even remember turning on, and the wine they’d shared warmed her through, making her mind drift far away from any other trouble that plagued her otherwise. For just this one moment she didn’t need to worry about making the town trust her, or her son love her. She didn’t need to prove anything – she simply stood, held fastly in the strong arms of a man who had long since stolen her heart, and chosen to love her despite all she had ever done to hurt him in return for a treachery long since perpetrated. Pulling closer to him, fingers threading through his hair, she smiled against the kiss, which had lasted much longer than the countdown itself had, leaving her breathless and dizzied. Happiness what not something she had come to believe she deserved in recent years, a far reaching leap from when she had believed it something she was being denied — but with Jefferson it was different. He was every bit of happiness she had thought herself incapable of ever earning, and perhaps the most devastatingly beautiful part of it all, was that he gave his love so freely and so completely. Never would she be able to doubt him, to fear his love was a lie or only for a fleeting moment. Despite the ring fitted securely around her finger, she knew. It was clear in the way he looked at her most of all, like she was something worth believing in. And she couldn’t wait to spend one more year being his.

“You won’t let me down, either, apparently…” Regina laughed, wondering why it was he had yet to do as she’d said, and why she hadn’t made him do so. Her gaze seemed transfixed, hypnotized by him almost. The way he grinned, and watched her, she couldn’t decide if she liked it or if it made her feel uncomfortable; the trembling in her stomach was something all together new. He was – unpredictable. Dangerous, in a way. Dangerous to everything that she should be doing and keeping safe. Her power. Her position. Her head. Who knew what the consequences were for something like this. A queen not only defying her husband’s command to stay in the palace, and dabbling in the all too forbidden art of magic, but traipsing around into other realms in the company of a known thief? She shuddered to think what might come of either of them were they to be discovered.

And yet….

A slow smile began to blossom over her lips, as she cleared her throat and raised both eyebrows at him. “However if this is your way of asking me to accompany you on more of these journeys… I can’t say that I would tell you no.” Was it foolish? Most decidedly. Just moments ago she was fairly certain he didn’t even LIKE her at all, and now… Well. Now she wasn’t sure what to call them. But somehow, she was finding she didn’t mind being held by him so much after all. 

It wasn't until she pointed it out herself that Jefferson realized she may not have been enjoying herself the way he was. But the way she stared at him gave him pause, stopped him still from letting her down, stopped him from looking away from her at all; his gaze an icy burning straight through her own. It was if he was seeing something he couldn't put a name to, hidden away there just behind her eyes, that if only he swam a little deeper he could figure it out.

When she spoke again though he was shaken from it, left laughing almost awkwardly despite himself, and finally decided it was time to set her down. "I'll have to think about that," he spoke just as her feet touched the ground, his hands both reluctantly dragging themselves off and away from her, leaving her to stand in her own space once again.

"I would say it depends on how well this visit goes." He couldn't stop the smirking grin that pulled at his lips, just beginning to show his teeth. If it did go well he didn't see anything wrong with letting her peek into a handful of realms his hat granted access to, so long as she kept her word and didn't try to run away. The last thing he needed was to have to drag a kicking and screaming queen back through the portal home.

“I’ll keep it in mind.”
