How To Attract What You Desire
Before you begin:
• Know what you want. What you really want. And don’t think of “how” you’ll get it. • Write the desire in present tense on a card. It is now your goal card. • Carry this card with you and read it often. This is putting the desire into your subconscious mind. • Check if your goal is really what you want. Can you imagine bigger? Are you letting fear stop you? Are you answering your soul’s calling with this?
Night:
• How you fall asleep determines what shows up in your life. Everytime. Without fail. So we start our day how we fell asleep the night before, actually. Ask your self one question before you sleep: “If my wishes were fulfilled, how would I feel?” Fall asleep to that question satisfied. • Record an MP3 or voice note of your OWN voice, reciting positive affirmations. Get examples online but personalize them. Your subconscious mind trusts your own voice. Use it. • Never ever let yourself fall asleep feeling stress or failure. Don’t invite it in.
Morning:
• When your eyes open, set your intention for the day. • Did you have any dreams last night? Write them down. • Write 5 things you’re grateful for. Increase to 10 after a while and begin to include wishes that are yet to manifest e.g. “I’m grateful I now weigh __”
Day:
• Read Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. (PDF’s online) Read slowly and reflectively. • Read Feeling Is The Secret by Neville Goddard (PDF’s online) • The Secret book/DVD is great for beginners but you’re going to have to dig deeper to pull this off. • Do what makes you smile. Read, play your music, call a friend, go for walks. Do whatever you can to lighten your mood. •Write about your desire as if it’s already happened. •Visualize your life ASSUMING the desire has already happened. How do you feel? What are you wearing? Where are you? Was manifesting easy and fun?
Remember:
• Bruce Lee, Jim Carrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oprah Winfrey, Big Sean, Conor McGregor and countless others have used this formula. It works, and it will work for you.

Want Soul Fulfilled as your life coach? Let me know: [email protected]
I've learned that one of the ways true happiness in life is achieved is through the feeling of fulfilment, which can only come with the constant achievement of personal goals. The euphoria one feels after finishing a set intention is stronger than any drug, and imperative for human well being. The hard work you're pouring right now into an specific project, completing school, or starting a business will eventually manifest itself in pure joy. The joy of knowing that you were capable of creating something great. Everything else is irrelevant, you were created to leave a signature in life, one way or another.

The Strategies of Rationality, Part 1
The following strategies are designed to help you bring out that inner Pericles or Athena: - Know yourself thoroughly. - Examine your emotions to their roots. - Increase your reaction time.
Asking for a Letter of Recommendation
I’ve seen some people post about being nervous/scared of rejection/etc so here is my strategy for requesting a letter of rec:
1. Title the email clearly, so recommender can access later: “Recommendation Request for NAME LASTNAME”
2. Greet them formally: “Dear Dr. X,” (I tend to do this no matter how close the relationship is)
3. Make the request: “I am writing to ask if you would be willing to write a letter of recommendation to support my application to WHATEVER THING.”
4. Tell them the deadline: “I would need the letter by MONTH/DAY/YEAR.” (If you want to give a reason, you can also say that the application is due, or that you are hoping to submit your application by that date.)
5. Why Them?: Share 1-2 sentences about why you think they are the right person to recommend you, or what they might add to your application. “Given your role as my advisor/mentor/colleague/etc, I believe you could offer a clear picture of my interpersonal skills/research abilities/developing strengths/academic abilities/etc.”
6. Offer to Help: Let them know that if they accept the offer, you will provide guidance and support in letter-writing. “If you are willing to write the letter, I would be happy to share more information about myself and my experiences, as well as information about where to send the letter.”
7. Help them decide if they are the right fit: Attach your CV, so they can take a look and make a more informed decision about whether they can confidently recommend you. “I have attached my CV in case you would like to review it.”
8. Thank them for their consideration and/or time
9. Sign off: Make sure your contact information is included in your email signature.
5 secrets for success from the first black woman to build a billion dollar company
Janice Bryant Howroyd dishes her best advice for anyone hoping to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality.
When Janice Bryant Howroyd was at the start of her career, she was appalled by the way she was treated when applying for jobs in Los Angeles. “I met with several employment companies, and they had posters on the wall and dollar signs by each applicant’s name,” she recounted to Know Your Value “It made me feel like a commodity and not a person.”
Bryant Howroyd knew there was a better way to recruit and retain talent. Specifically, she knew there had to be a shift from simply filling a position to focusing on the applicant and making sure they felt satisfied and empowered. “If the employees are placed well and are happy, the companies they work for will do well,” she said.
Taking a $900 loan from her mom and a giant leap of faith, Bryant Howroyd started her own company in 1978. She founded ActOne Group, a global enterprise that provides employment, workforce management and procurement solutions. The company has since grown into a billion-dollar business with more than 17,000 clients and 2,600 employees in 22 countries.
Today, Bryant Howroyd is one of the richest self-made women in America, with a net worth of $390 million, according to Forbes. In her new book, “Acting Up”, she shares her insight and offers advice how people can use their uniqueness to take on the business world.
Below, some of Bryant Howroyd’s best advice for anyone hoping to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality.
Focus on empowerment
“When people feel empowered, they find success,” Byrant Howroyd said. By investing in your employees, building relationships and knowing how to provide them with opportunities to reach new goals, the entire company will benefit. Employees will be happier and in turn, will stay motivated and work harder.
When helping others feel empowered, it’s also important to realize that you don’t have to arrive at your destination in order to give back to others. It’s just as helpful to give back to others throughout your journey, before all of your own dreams are fulfilled, she added.
Nobody wins alone
Byrant Howroyd emphasized that it takes a village to find success. “It’s important to not lose sight of this,” she said. The path can also be winding. “It’s common for people to feel like they are losing if they don’t win the first, second or third time, but if they are learning and understanding the gaps, it sets them up for bigger wins,” she said. “It always takes a team, and even if you are a company of one, there are people contributing to you in dynamic ways that are helping you along your journey.”
“I like to remind others that it took a village for us,” Bryant Howroyd said. “We all contributed to our company’s success, and I’ve got some of the most committed, dedicated, talented and strong people in my organization…”
Ask the right questions and really listen
“When you show up, make sure you not only get there on time, but really show up and make an impact,” Bryant Howroyd said. A big part of this involves clear and concise communication. Take extra steps like preparing questions and presentations. In addition, really listen to the answers you receive. “Keep everyone involved in the communication process, and make sure that everyone understands,” she added.
Never compromise who you are
When Bryant Howroyd mentors young professionals, which is a major passion of hers. She said she continually reminds them about the importance of staying true to your values. “Never compromise who you are personally to become who you wish to be professionally,” she advised.
View education as a lifelong process
“Education is freedom,” Bryant Howroyd said, explaining that her education helped her define herself and rise above any racial barriers or other obstacles that stood in her way.
“It’s also important to recognize that education is a lifelong process,” she said. Continually seek out new opportunities for learning and don’t be afraid to look for new insight in unexpected places. Mentoring others, for example, could broaden your perspective and teach you something new.
