New doodle drop. And I also wanna talk about them cause I created such a specific version of them in my head I feel crazy about it. Okay so

I'm following my little au that I posted abt once before on the 'if Robin lived' idea. I draw him pretty happy despite the things that happened to him and Finn and the reason for that is I think that he views him being saved as a second chance at life and he refuses to ever waste any time now. He doesn't fight as much as he used to (he still def does but it's like he's somewhat mellowed out), he seems more laid-back and ready to face the world head on. He feels antsy when he doesn't have something to do and he hates being left in silence, so you usually see him hanging around Finn (his only friend), Gwen and/or Ernesto. And for Finn, it's pretty much the opposite. He's definitely not as angry as in TBP2 but he still harbors a lot of hate and fear in his heart. He fights more than Robin does in recent days, which surprises everyone around them. He says he's fine with being alone but secretly savors Robin's company, afraid to let him go in fear of losing him again. They both bottle up emotions constantly which causes #FIGHTS and #MISCOMMUNICATION but they still stick by each other and have dramatic venting moments because they're the only ones who could ever understand what it was like down there. Kinda messy this trauma is crazy.

Their designs I decided their outfits on a whim to keep it simple and now I draw them in it as default so I guess it's staying. Robin has a blue bandana now instead of green to both show that he grew and isn't the same person as he was before the basement but also because that green bandana is long gone. Like it's somewhere all bloody from that one clip in the intro. He ain't looking for that!!! Maybe he cut his hair after he was saved y'know hair holds memories thing but felt so unnerved by the shorter hair that he just grew it out longer than before. Finn just has the same hair he don't gaf.

Dynamic wise I draw Robin pretty assertive and suave I guess while Finn acting angry out of embarrassment/shyness. As kids they could wrap an arm around one another and lean into each other just fine but now that they're 17 and more conscious about their actions Finn doesn't much appreciate PDA while Robin does it just to fuck with him a little. Finn's definitely not the romantic of the two. But maybe he'd drop a line every blue moon like maybe the stars are so perfectly aligned because we got the chance to be with each other and Robin's like hello? Also Finn's taller #DONTCARE

Dude idk what I'm even saying. I suck at explaining things. There's more but again I suck at this I'll draw more about them soon. HOPE U LIKE GUYS THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT 😊😊😊
