"Hey, its what I’m here for." She said. Joanna knew that in his current state, nothing would get accomplished. The reason she was there in the first place was to help her brother get better, in one way, shape or form. And if that meant staying up all night and making sure Jonathan stopped crying, then that was fine by her. "And if you ever need me and I’m not here, I am one phone call away."
He nodded into her shoulder and fell silent. He didn't know what to say now. Eventually, however, he did stop crying, and he did manage to pull himself away. With his one hand he brushed away the tears in his eyes, wary of the claws. "Thanks again Joanna." Standing up for a second, he snatched up a tissue box and blew his nose into a tissue.

He smiled in return to her, nodding, taking the book as best as he could. “Thank you…” The brunette told her as she moved to the chair. Pale fingers ghosted over the cover before opening the book almost silently. It was rather eerie, especially with those claws standing out among the white pages.
Barbara smiles watching the man as she cuddles up on the chair. “You’re welcome.” She nods picking up her own book.
It didn't take long for Jonathan to get a quarter way into the book, and after that, it didn't take him long to fall asleep after that. It was gradual, and silent, but soon enough, he was asleep. Blue eyes sealed shut with the book resting on his chest. Hist breaths, along with his heart rate, slowed dramatically.

"Hm, I think that would have been a pretty big maybe unless those heroes’ fears aided in their death or something." She commented, adding sourly, "That or butcher them because of greed."
"But it'd at least give them leverage to stand a better chance. Both sides are strong, it's just... The Sinestro Corpse tends to not be able to realize they could do something completely different and eliminate them eventually." Then again, now that he thought about it, he didn't really want the Green Lanterns gone. They may be a pain in the butt for people like him, but they are some of the only people keeping Earth safe enough for the villains already roaming this planet to dominate. "Exactly... Rather sad if you ask me."
"Who did this to you?"
"I-I don’t know, they caught….me by surprise and i-it was….too dark." She answered slowly through uneven breaths, having some difficulty.
"I understand the who ‘waiting until you’re in a safer place’ but even when you are, or at least a safe enough place, you still tend to ignore or forget about your own injuries." She responded and added, "Besides you’ve already seem to have decided that you’re going to stay so of course I’ll come back so I can visit you."
"You've only ever seen me when I'm still at a risk for trouble. Or at least, those are the only times you have seen me injured." He explained calmly with a shrug. "Nevertheless, I do tend to them eventually really. Whether it be on my own accord or not changes frequently." It was here he shook his head. "I never said I wasn't going back to Arendelle... It's just... Some new things have come up that only made the decision far more complex then it was prior."

"What the hell are you doing out there?" He shouted to the female, pulling her inside and closing the door. "You’re soaked… I’ll go get you a towel." It didn’t take him long to grab the cloth and return, handing it to her.
"Alright then…" He paused for another moment. "However, if you want to stick around for when I call your father over to talk to him about this situation, you can. I’ll be doing that in the morning." Jonathan explained, watching her closely before going into the kitchen. "Are you hungry? I can make something if you are."
Shea sighed softly just thinking the tongue lashing she would get from her father. She debated about staying, really she’d much rather take off and never see her father again. She could taste a faint metallic tang on her tongue and realized she’d chewed through her lip again. Thankfully the man had moved to another room so he hasn’t witnessed it. “No t-thank you.” Her voice was soft and she turned her gaze back to the window. “Once the rain s-stops I’ll h-head out anyways.”
He let out a sigh. "Alright, I'm not going to keep you here. But just know, avoid the allies. That is, unless you have a weapon." The brunette explained, continuing to work on some food. "Are you sure you don't want any, I'm sure the rain wont be letting up soon." But if she really didn't want any, he wasn't going to go through the trouble of making something.
"Alright then. I’ll try my best to walk there." It is a little bit embarrassing for someone to carry her somewhere in her point of view. Standing up, she tried to go around the table drowsily and accidentally hit her face against a wall. Stepping back, she went back to her seat. "…Please lead the way…"
Jonathan sighed as he watched her, shaking his head. It was here he grabbed her arm, his nails slightly pushing on the flesh of her arm, and the brunette began leading her to the bedroom. "Alright, here you are. Do be careful in here... I have some... Sad memories here..." The villain could still see the noose with the girl dead in it's hold.

"Our first meeting had been the second time we had gotten separated, but we were also out in the streets just after people were getting off work and I had lost my phone so that has aided in my having a hard time in regrouping anytime we do get separated." Elsa explained. "I can understand why they would ask him to join and why he would turn them down.
She wondered what he was thinking about, as it seemed his mind drifted off. The only thing breaking the silence was the whistle of the wind outside until the guards entered the room in their heavy snow suits with some food, going to their rooms to shed the extra clothing and left the suit once again to spend time through the hotel.
"I see... So you've only been separate two to four times?" That in itself is actually a feat, he honestly expected her to get separated a lot more often judging by the time they last met. Nevertheless, it was still all lucky shots in which she wasn't attacked. His mind continued to wonder that far, and no matter how many times he tried to snap himself out of it, the deeper he fell into the landscape of his mind. Eventually, he did snap out of it, after he was practically unresponsive.
Edward soon returned, bearing bandages, medicine, rubbing alcohol, and some food. He sat beside Jonathan once more.
"How do you feel?" He asked, beginning to clean some wounds. He was worried.
Feeling the other begin cleaning his wounds, Jonathan winced. Oh did that hurt. “…Not too good…” He explained calmly, biting harshly on the inside of his cheek. “But not enough to really cause any real trouble…”
"Do you need something to bite down on? Or alcohol? I doubt there’s any alcohol, but still." He tried to smile, continuing to clean.
"Don’t worry. You’ll be just fine."
Jonathan couldn't help but roll his eyes as his sharp nails dug into his palm again. "One, I don't really drink alcohol." Actually he couldn't if he wanted to. Mix alcohol with the Fear Toxin and you get a horrible conclusion. "Two, a rag would be great." The tone of his voice was laced in irritation.
"Oh... And I have no worries... After all, I have the smartest man in Gotham working on my injuries..."
Edward soon returned, bearing bandages, medicine, rubbing alcohol, and some food. He sat beside Jonathan once more.
"How do you feel?" He asked, beginning to clean some wounds. He was worried.

"I do have some guards with me, but this is a crowded place so getting separated has proven to be something that is quite easy to do, on accident or on purpose." She explained and added, "I haven’t met him yet, but I will be in the next day or two. It’s sad that out of such a large city the only police officer that is seriously trustworthy is the commissioner, no wonder the city is in so desperate need of some caped crusader."
"But do you ever get separated for that long or that much? I believe when we met you were separated, correct? Does that happen often?" The brunette asked her, seeming more curious to find her answer than matter-of-fact. "I see, well that's good. You finally get to meet the good side of Gotham City. Funny thing about the Batman though, they actually asked him to join the police force, no wonder he turned them down." It was here, the brunette's mind drifted to what Harley Quinn said about him. A sinking feeling entered his gut, but as quickly as it came, he brushed it off.
'He just wants to see us all get better, to become real people instead of criminals. He just wants us to get better.'
Not by my Lonesome (@elsasnowqueenofarendelle)
"Yes, unfortunately from experience." Elsa answered and listened with some interest. "Yes well they are people’s fears so there is a reason it is kept locked away inside."
"Indeed, though there are many things humans have in common with other species than they realize."
He didn't continue on with that, Jonathan had that strange feeling that Elsa would tell him eventually, but not now. Continuing onto the next part calmly. "Exactly. I just wished the majority of the Sinestro Corpse would have figured it out sooner. Maybe they would have been able to defeat the warriors of Will Power, the Green Lanterns." He paused for barely a second before going on. "And yet we tend to butcher those species out of fear."

Shea turned around when she heard him speak, pulling her hand away from the wall and crushing the tissue in her hand as she did so. The look in his eyes made her feel small and her throat tightened up cutting of her apology. She just nodded and looked back at the wall wondering just what lesson it would serve to teach. She took a few breaths to calm herself and collect her thoughts. “I..I’ll just stay until the r-rain stops. I r-really don’t want to inconvenience you.”
"Alright then..." He paused for another moment. "However, if you want to stick around for when I call your father over to talk to him about this situation, you can. "Is that so…?" He seemed to be pleased with this, watching her moving to the shelf. Blue eyes focused sharply on her, not sure if he should one-hundred percent believe that this was correct, or right, to read on of her books.
The red head nods, searching for the book. “Here we are.” She smiles handing to book to him before moving to sit on her arm chair.
He smiled in return to her, nodding, taking the book as best as he could. "Thank you..." The brunette told her as she moved to the chair. Pale fingers ghosted over the cover before opening the book almost silently. It was rather eerie, especially with those claws standing out among the white pages.

"I-I don’t know, they caught….me by surprise and i-it was….too dark." She answered slowly through uneven breaths, having some difficulty.
"Nothing that really needs bandaging that I can tell, just time." Elsa replied, she didn’t mind the touch, it was comforting. She chuckled at the constant questions, like a worried mother or something. "You get worse injuries and don’t even attend to them until hours later and you’re dotting over me like a mother or something."
"Alright... Good..." A sigh escaped his lips once more, although he couldn't help but chuckle as well with those following words. "Well there is a difference between you and I. For one thing, you are a foreigner, so when you leave here injuries and bloody, limping, you may never come back. Which, that in itself, makes me rather sad. The other reason would be that in a night of crime I never stop getting hurt, so I tend to ignore my injuries until I'm in a safe position, in Arkham does not count. So usually I end up ignoring them. I doubt that you, of all people, will ever get into crime, nevertheless Arkham." He paused, brushing some brown hair out of his face.
"There are thousands of other reasons but that would take too long to go over, so I gave two of the most prominent."
Edward nodded, going to try and scavenge together what was required, focusing mostly on the food. Poor Crane. Edward knew he must be deathly ill.
In the time span of the other gathering the items required, his hands wandered to his injuries. The bruises felt odd under his fingers as his hand ghosted over them. The ribs... He winced, they stuck out and he managed to count all the ones that were fractured or broken. 12 pairs of ribs in total. So 24 ribs all together. Fingers dancing over his wounds too, some bulged from infection, others were sunken from blood loss, either way, the feeling of it wasn't good at all.
Red Snow (@alluringtoxins)
It was the condition of his ribs that triggered an unnatural feeling of concern for him, and such a feeling was often only triggered by her precious children—or Harley. Why it extended out to him? She didn’t know. Anyone with any minute feeling of empathy within them would look at the condition of his physique with sympathy. Perhaps it coincided with the feeling of admiration she held over his talent in fear toxins. Whatever the case, it was not anything she would readily admit. Her actions of administering medical aid spoke for herself—until her digits ghosted over the grotesque bruises. There wasn’t much else she could do—nor that she knew how to do, in all honesty.
Inwardly cringing, she pulled her hand away so that she could glance to the outside world. The glass of her green house was fogged up, giving her only teasing glimpses of the snowstorm outside. She could have kicked him back out into the snow to send him on his way, but they shared something in common: The paranoia of Batman. Pamela could only assume that it was he who sent Crane over the edge — literally.
When her gaze returned to him, she had just managed to catch the sound of pained laughter. Laughter? Naturally, she scowled — but as he winced and bent over in apparent pain, she refrained from speaking any harsh words. That’s what he got, anyways. Tch. After prolonged of irritated silence on her part, the botanist spoke again. Hands stained with the crimson of his blood came to rest on her lap. " We have a few options. You can leave — not the wisest choice, but I won’t keep you here. I’m afraid there isn’t much I can do in regards to your ribs, until the serum kicks in. Or, you can stay here for the night. My apartment is in the back. " She paused, gaze purposefully remaining averted from his.
" … You can trust me. ”
He didn't notice her hand afterward on her bruises, he did feel something was there on his bruises, he knew it, but he wasn't sure. It wasn't like a touch, or at least it wasn't to him. But then again, he was as good as asleep in this condition. As Jonathan slowly awoke a little more, his senses returning despite the weakness and exhaustion, he managed to continue deciphering the world. Now beginning to find some sense in the situation. Give him a night or so, he'll be back completely alert, like always.
The injured brunette just barely understood what was being asked of him. His eyes moved to look at her, however, those black voids of his pupils will not be able to find Ivy's face clear, for the fact that he could barely keep his eyes open, nevertheless keep the fogginess of sleep out of his mind too, it made it difficult to keep them stuck on something. Because he couldn't see the female's face, whether she was telling the truth or not was beyond him. That was, until she spoke of trust.
His mind immediately, for a mere flash of a second, to the storm. Going back into that wasteland sickened him, repulsed him, seemed to kill him. A nod, he managed to get one in. Jonathan wasn't sure what he said, but he did know it was quiet, and almost dead. "...That would... Be Nice..."
