Yosemite National Park by Jack Moriarty
oh my god
everyone needs to see this video at least once in their life
I think my favorite thing about dogs is that they can, in fact, perceive the tone/mood of music, just as they can with human voices.
I think the best part about this is that there was an actual academic study done to find out what music dogs preferred, they set it up by kenneling dogs and figuring out which kind of music caused them to be more relaxed in the situation, and they found out that most dogs prefer soft rock and reggae.Â
He probably really digs it.Â
i love ben wyatt
Animals Sleeping Anywhere.
This is so true itâs not even funny.

Every computer needs a âcleaning keyboardâ mode where the keys would be inactive while you wipe them down
This might be my favorite post hahaha
I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD YO BECAUSE DONâT THEY KNOW ITâS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE???
The last few days have been difficult. Learning of your passing was heartbreaking, but after your service I was filled with an overwhelming sense of peace that only the Holy Spirit could provide. I thank God for all the Wednesday nights at youth, hot days on mission trips, and fun times at Pilgrimage. Zach, you were an amazing servant of God and I am confidant that your heart was and is with him. I can't wait to see you again, oh what a beautiful day that will be! 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 (at McLaurin at Pinecrest Memorial Park Funerals & Cremations)
oh my god
When I was ten years old, a dog bit the back of my head. The doctor said, within earshot but out of sight â he didnât think I could hear him â that had the dogâs teeth been a little longer, they could have gone in under my skull. Hit my brain stem. Killed me, crippled me.
I donât know whether or not he was right. All I know is that for a decade and a half after that, I harbored a complete and unreasoning terror of dogs. It didnât matter how big they were, or how tame, or how kind. Someone else could assure me that they were the best dog in the world, that they knew the dog, that he would never hurt anyone, and it didnât matter, because I was convinced that any dog could suddenly turn on me, bite me hard enough to kill me.
There were two dogs I slowly learned to trust during that time period. And, eventually, I learned to understand dogs again, to understand their body language, to like them again, because my husband convinced me to get a puppy, to raise a dog from when it was small, that this would help me get over my fear.
No one ever told me I was crazy or irrational for not wanting to be around dogs after Iâd been attacked and nearly killed by one. Â No one. For fifteen years, it was understandable that I would be afraid â terribly, unreasoningly afraid â of dogs. A dog attacked me. I bore the traumatic scars. I found dogs terrifying, unpredictable. I could not trust any of them â no matter how kind theyâd been to my friends, no matter how well-recommended they came or how well theyâd been raised â not to turn on me and injure me.
When I was fifteen, I was raped.
Do I even need to finish this?
THIS IS WHAT I SAY ALL THE FUCKING TIME AND NO ONE UNDEFSTANDS.
Josh Thomas talks about male suicide
I wonder how feminists will react to this
Probably ignore it then go back to making male tears mugs and gifsÂ
Actually this is a very common idea among feminists
Itâs something feminists have been talking about for years itâs called toxic masculinity and itâs one of the common threads among the topic of âPatriarchy hurts men tooâ. If fact the first time I read about toxic masculinity was on a feminist blog.
If you actually read things feminists talk about instead of straw manning them you might know this but OH WELL
my father told me once to never date anyone who talks smoothly around you from the start because if someone likes you they should be a little nervous and honestly i think thatâs some of the best advice anyone has ever given me
i told my dad about this text post and he got so excited he teared up and then he said he felt like he just adopted forty thousand new children to share his wisdom with and he hopes all of you meet kind, sweet people he would be proud of
Reasons why Parks and Rec deserved an Emmy
- Set in small-town Indiana, still manages to have 40% of itâs ensemble cast be POC, and not one of them is a token either
- 40% of the cast are women. ž are POC. All of them are badasses.Â
- Every single fucking episode is funny. Seriously.Â
- Perd fucking Hapley. I canât even explain, you just have to watchÂ
- Pawnee citizens holy hellÂ
- The flawless political commentary behind the Langmanâs and the Male MenÂ
- The scene in Comeback Kid where Get On Your Feet is playing and theyâre all struggling to walk on iceÂ
- Chris Traeger and his mental illness. They worked it in so that it was comedic, but if it glorified anything, it was asking for help and accepting it.Â
- Okay just Chris in generalÂ
- Gary Jerry Larry Terry Gary Gergich Gengurch GergichÂ
- Donna, the character who is exactly who she needs to be throughout her life. She acknowledges the need to change her behavior occasionally, but it doesnât dent her confidence one bit.Â
- Ann Meredith Perkins, you beautiful sun-ray nurse. The best friend everyone needs. Quirky and grounded and intelligent.Â
- THE FUCKING SAPERSTEINSÂ
- ESPECIALLY JEAN-RALPHIOÂ
- Everything Tom Haverford has ever saidÂ
- Ben fucking Wyatt. I canât even elaborate without crying and combusting. Much better nerd than any weasel from The Big Bang Theory. Feminist. Best Husband Ever.Â
- ANYTIME BEN OR LESLIE ARE DRUNK HOLY SHITÂ
- Cones of Dunshire and Requiem for a TuesdayÂ
- FUCKING ICE TOWNÂ
- April Blart, Mall CopÂ
- Aprilâs character development *heart eyes*Â
- Andy and Aprilâs loveÂ
- Mouse Rat and hits like The Pit, Catch Your Dream, and - 5000 CANDLES IN THE WINDÂ
- LIL SEBASTIANÂ
- Bert Macklin, FBIÂ
- Johnny and Johnathan KarateÂ
- Andy Dwyer, secret geniusÂ
- Ron Swanson, the manliest man to ever man, owner of the worldâs best character development, hater of Canada and vegans, beautiful beautiful manÂ
- Duke fucking SilverÂ
- I dig your groovy tunes man
- Ben and Leslieâs healthy, realistic, and beautiful relationshipÂ
- Benslie proposalÂ
- Benslie weddingÂ
- Benâs triplets freakoutÂ
- the BOXÂ
- Amy Poehler plays the most amazing woman to ever grace any screen. Leslie Knope, a socially inept but selfless woman who dedicates her life to public service, her family, and her friends. Deeply flawed main character that wasnât made lovable by her unfortunate but relatable love of sugar and hatred of vegetables, but instead by her love for others and thoughtfulness and work ethic and optimism. Food habits aside, her character flaws were acknowledged by the writers, her loved ones, and her. No one is an enabler for Leslie Knopeâs bad behavior. When she does something shitty, she gets called on it and apologizes. But at the end of the day, hard work and positivity make a difference, and she achieves her dreams.Â
- Positivity. The people on this show like each other. They believe in and support each other. They apologize when theyâre wrong. They forgive when theyâve been wronged. They go out of their way to make lives better. And it is still funny.
