#tbt #TheMentalist #CBSHere are some completed set photos from 2013. The seven seasons that I was the police/medical technical advisor was an amazing experience. Met so many great people and made some lifelong friendships. Grateful to all the Mentalist fans that kept us going. This is for you. More Mentalist #tbt photos to come in the upcoming weeks!

INTERVIEW. After realizing his dream at the end of Mentalist by becoming the director of his first film, Breath (released in 2017 in France), Simon Baker reveals his new life since the end of the series (still broadcast on Friday at 9 pm 00 on TMC).
What is your life like today since the Mentalist end ?
Simon Baker: The end of the series allowed me to take care of myself and the people I love. It also gave me the opportunity to return to live in my country, Australia. Every morning I go swimming or surfing. My house, which is near Sydney, is close to the beaches. My quality of life is much better since I no longer plays the role of Patrick Jane.
Are you missing Mentalist ?
The series had such an impact on my life that it left me a scar that did not close. When I think of all these hours of work, I absolutely do not miss the show. On the other hand, I often feel a sense of nostalgia when I look at a photo album of the entire team.
Have you kept in touch with the members of the series?
Every time I come to Los Angeles, I visit Robin (his ex-partner Robin Tunney, editor's note). We stayed extremely close. I also regularly see Bruno (the creator of Mentalist, Bruno Heller, ed). We work together on several projects. The Mentalist team continues to be part of my life.
What are your best memories of your years as Patrick Jane?
Without a doubt my relationship with the fans of the series. The French played such an important role in the success of Mentalist. They are and will always remain in my heart. Since the end of the series, I had the opportunity to return to France. My best memories are definitely my stays in Paris. I was treated like a king and I was always found at the last minute a free table in a restaurant. (He's laughing. )
Mentalist has brought you world renown. Who helped you not to catch the big head?
My family. My wife ( Rebecca Rigg ) and my children (Stella, 24, Claude, 19, and Harry, 16) have always been direct and frank with me. They never hesitated to criticize me. Even today, they help me to keep my feet firmly on the ground and play an extremely important role in my balance.
You will celebrate your 50th birthday next year. Is this an important step in your life?
I think I'm going through the midlife crisis. (He laughs.) But, instead of changing my wife or buying new Ferrari, I prefer to invest in new film projects. My family, however, nowadays foremost. My wife did not hesitate to stop her career to take care of our children. The time has come for me to listen to his desires and needs.

you know how in movies/tv shows, sometimes writers have to make up a list that will be shown for only a few frames
so they just write whatever because only really bored people who hit the pause button in order to have enough time to read it would ever see it?
i can’t tell which one is my favourite between P.A.N.I.C. (People Against Naming Infants Chad) and Organization for the fight to end Women’s Suffrage

“IT'S A WRAP! My first choice was to have a photo with Robin Tunney, but I'll take what I can get.”
“He's a nice guy, he took time to come into the back office and take pictures with everyone.“
