Have you ever wondered why when the size of the image you upload under the text post reduces when the text post is published when, in fact, the image is a high resolution? Here’s why, Tumblr reduces the size of an image to 500 x 500 pixels automatically when it is more than 500 pixels.

It doesn’t look good, right? Yikes.

BUT.. We have a solution for that! We can make the reduced image size return to its original. ;)

First, Edit your post. Then click the settings/gear icon (1) on the right corner at the top. Then select HTML under the Text editor.

Put the width and height you desire. Then click Save.

TADAAA!! All set! ^_^
