She is not sorry//Rebekah & Jean AU
A bit surprised but happy to have to deal with such a brave young lady, Jean took back his jacket. “Since you like it on me. I have to put it back then”.
He rapidly wrapped his jacket around his shoulders; then he protectively wrapped one of his arms around hers. “If you were a burden you’ll be a very light and lovely burden, Rebekah.” Of course she wasn’t a burden but she clearly was a problem. How will he be able to convince her to don’t call the police after what she saw tonight. For the moment, she was still under shcock and looking at him as a loyal savior, a knight. Once she will get her mind back that will change and she will notice the weirdness of his behavior. “Here, Let me guide you. and please call me Jean. Just Jean.”
He lead her to a table near the bar and made her sit. “Please stay there while I’m preparing you something hot to drink.” He went behind the bar and starter to prepare a calming herbal tea. He took his phone out of his jacket inner pocket and rapidly dial on it. When he got an answer, he started what was looking like a monologue in french.
"Ah!
He hung up and then come back with 2 cups and a tea kettle that smelled like chamomile. He was all smile.
"Do you like tea? or maybe you would prefer hot chocolate?"

Rebekah had actually started to like that jacket of his but she smiled at him as he took it with no show of reluctance. ''Please. It suits you far more better than it does to me.''
His gesture was much appreciated, though Rebekah still had that feeling that something was not just right and along with the weirdly friendly approach of the owner of the place was making her fuzzy. ''Whatever you say. But I would still be a burden, Jean.'' She sighed and then quickly half formed a smile on her lips. Maybe she could try to talk herself out of this place but this would only succeed in making her behavior seem more suspicious and she was sure that the man would make sure to have her followed. In other words, until Rebekah could find a good excuse, she was trapped in there.
She sat willingly at the table to allow, supposedly, to herself some relaxing and quiet peaceful moments that would help her recover from the metatraumatic shock she was into. ''Thank you so much, Jean. You didn't have to do any of these.'' By that, she didn't only mean the hot drink and the confronting words but the shelter he was offering her generally.
Even though she didn't want to overhear the conversation he was having, the vampire couldn't help but do so. When the chat was over, not even Rebekah would be able to explain the look she had in her eyes. Terror?Desperation?Arrogance?Impatience? She couldn't tell. But one thing was sure. One of Jean's friends was coming for support and she was definitely not pleased by that. She couldn't believe that the situation was getting more and more messed up with each passing second.
Thankfully, she heard his footsteps approaching soon enough and that gave her time to change her facial expression to a more normal one. ''Tea is just fine, Monsieur. And again, I thank you dearly.'' The level of politeness she was reaching was making her stomach grumble with disgust for herself but she just chuckled and sat still on her chair.

There was nothing Rebekah hated more than the very early wake up calls but since it was part of her job there was nothing she could actually do about it.
After visiting the F.B.I. offices to get more disclosure for her teams' new case, she took their private jet and travelled to Seattle so as to move on with her investigation there. Her appointment with Christian Grey was due to an hour and she used that time to freshen up in her hotel room.
When her gun was placed on her belt, hidden by her jacket, she entered the building of Grey Enterprises. She had make sure to make an appointment as a businesswoman who wanted to close a good deal so that she could work undercover on the staff.
Once she was in his office, Rebekah extended her arm for a greeting and gave Christian a smile. ''It's such a pleasure to see you, Mr. Grey. I am Special Agent Mikaelson from the F.B.I.'' She took a moment to show him her badge before getting to the point. ''The reason why I am here is because someone might be targetting you.'' She said, locking her gaze with his, trying not to stare at his outstanding figure for too long.

"Feisty." Demetria commented sarcastically. "Tell me, my dear. Is it foreign to hear that your bothers might need a witch to help with whatever they need on the occasion?" She questioned, her tone holding impatience. "I help your brothers with whatever they need, and return, they ‘let me live’." She finished, trying her best to imitate Klaus’ voice.
Rebekah shot a reckless look on the witch, holding back her anger and regaining the control over her emotions.Whatever was what this witch was doing for her brothers, the vampire was determined to find out. ''I wonder though why would they neeed especially you.'' She replied in a cool tone, looking at her straight in the eyes. ''Why would Elijah want to kill you?''
Lucas shrugged. There was a lot salt could do, and the answer towards Rebekah’s question depended on the context of the conversation. She was lucky the context—although Lucas was sure it was desperately kept hidden by the both of them—happened to be on his level of expertise. “It makes a demon’s skin burn and chases ghosts away”, he said dryly, somewhat enjoying the fact that he was slightly teasing her. “It is very handy when hunting them down. Both demons and ghosts can’t enter a circle of salt.” He raised his eyebrows once, grinning. “I bet you know what a dagger can do, Rebekah. May I ask… What is your last name?”
And as if the other part of the conversation was not taking place, Lucas jumped to the other. He shrugged. The answer to that question was slightly starting to bore him, especially when the motels had bad beds and cockroaches in the bathtub. Lucas was lucky that both Nirvana and Silah did not really mind bugs. Both were fascinated by them, each for their own reasons. “I’m staying at the motel just outside of town”, he muttered, glancing down at the surface of his drink. He sighed deeply, decided he did not care any longer and drank it empty. “Another?” he questioned when he pointed at his and her empty glasses.
It seemed, that he was taking his time to consider his options about how to answer the question. She really didn't know what salt could do, though she doubted it could harm her even a little bit. There was nothing she should be afraid of except from a few special daggers. Rebekah secretly wished that he didn't have such weapons in his possession. ''I see...'' She chuckled and leaned a little bit closer so that only he could hear. ''And what happens if a ghost is brave enough and doesn't run away?'' She tried not to giggle, holding her semi serious expression. He liked teasing? Rebekah did too. ''I'm not really fond of daggers. Yeah but if they just stay out of the circle, waiting till you get tired and pop out, eyeing you with their dark gaze the whole time?'' She smirked and pulled back. ''Now that would be creepy. It's...Mikaelson. Why?''
Rebekah was slightly tempted to offer them shelter. Her apartment would be much more comfortable but- She suddenly opened her eyes widely and looked away for a moment. Am I out of my fucking mind? She thought and cursed herself. Lucas and his sort of gang were hunters. How could she even be so stupid to think about providing them shelter? She nodded for another drink with a shy smile and traced her fingertips on the bar counter. ''I hope you guys don't fight over who's going to get the most comfortable bed.'' Nice joke, Bekah. Well done.
Bryce felt like a heel when he saw her look for a moment and knew that it was his fault undoubtedly. I’m so getting into trouble for this. But, what’s life if you don’t take risks and enjoy it from time to time? “How about after I get rid of this nuisance, we could, maybe, get a coffee or bite to eat? I’m sure I could find something to occupy your mind.”
Rebekah raised her head immediately and happily nodded. He was not going to spill about the different cases and criminals but he would eventually. They would do baby steps at each time. ''Definitely.See ya at the cafe at the end of this street in...an hour or so?''
He frowned. “I understand, I am not longer a son of a bitch… times have changed but should I worry about it? How many people here in this town hate Damon?” Dorian rolled his eyes to say that name, then shrugged. “I had a perfect life until to be ruined by supernatural, I lived hell in Vancouver, when I recovered I ended up in this city, let’s say I’m under control now.” He smiled. “Don’t you remember? How old are you? If I may ask.”
Rebekah chewed on her lower lip for a while before replying. ''Actually, the right question would be how many people in this town love Damon.'' She smirked and raised just one finger in front of him. ''That would only be Elena Gilbert. That girl is out of her mind. I have slept with him but I still hate him. And everyone else hates him more or less. So,yeah. Sorry buddy. You are screwed.'' The original vampire patted his shoulder in a gesture to show him that she sympathizes him. ''Being out of control means that...you killed many innocent people? Chill, we all have been through that phase.'' She nodded in agreement. ''No.This place was burnt down ages ago. I am 1018 years old. That young. You?''
"Yes, you definitely should find a new nickname for me. That way, Blondie would stick with you," he laughed, tilting his head a little bit. He bowed to her calling him the smartest guy in the room. "Good to know you think that," he chuckled as he looked around the room. "We should get something to eat. I’m starving," he said with a nod as he rubbed his stomach.
''And you will be stuck with something like Potato Head or Pewdiepie or something so that's not entirely good for you. '' She giggled and shrugged. ''I can handle Blondie.'' Folding her arms on her chest, Rebekah nodded happily. ''That's what I meant when I called you a genious. Food is my second favorite F word. Let's do this.''
'They do exist..But yeah..most of you, humans, haven't seen one.”
''But...I'm not human.''
As the two females’ hands closed in on one another to greet, she felt it. She felt that dark and foreboding aura again. Rebekah isn’t just an ordinary supernatural. She’s a vampire! But not just any vampire, an Original Vampire. Josephine became shocked at this discovery. She has only heard about the Originals in stories her mother and other witches had told her as a child. She took a step back, breaking eye contact with Rebekah. “Rebekah,” she mumbled to herself. Which one was she again? Was she the really psychotic and murderous one? Was she the hybrid? She could quite recall what she heard about Rebekah. Josephine took another step back, debating whether she wanted to make a run for it.
Judging by the other girl's reaction, she immediately knew that she realised who she was. And since she was definitely not a vampire, all she could be was a witch. A smirk was spread all over Rebekah's face by the time Josephine started withdrawing. ''Oh, don't even bother.'' The vampire stated, closing the distance once again. ''Do you really think you could get away from me by just running.'' She laughed softly, her small devilish giggles echoing around them. ''That would be brave, but not brave enough. '' Tilting her head to the side, she chuckled. ''Are you another one of the Benett's?''

Kate wasn’t so sure how she ended back up in Mystic Falls. Was she even in Mystic Falls? The presence of the other blonde seemed rather familiar, even if they had never met before.
"H-Hello? Is anyone there?" she asked warily. For some reason, she felt as if she were being watched.
Another new face in Mystic Falls? Rebekah wandered what was making so many people attracted to this place. Maybe it was the murders. Or the supernaturals. But none of it seemed interesting to the Original Vampire.
Walking towards to the new blonde, she smirked and folded her arms on her chest. ''Hello there, darling. Are you lost?''
