I’m primarily here to talk about Best Jeanist, sometimes touch on Edgeshot, and occasional focus on other pros and everybody else. I am also deeply invested in the worldbuilding of BNHA, mainly focusing on the in-universe scientific study, classification, diagnosis, and treatment of quirks + the socioeconomic system and general political implications of heroism.

tsunagu + plushies are an underrated combination, so here are some headcanons:

what started as a fun way to learn to use his quirk as a child has turned into on of his passions.

he has so many plushies from both his childhood and adulthood, and he decorates his house with them like one would decorate with porcelain statues.

while he can absently create one, he always give his full attention while creating them. this means he may go a while without making a new one, since work is very busy.

calls them his friends and believes they have real feelings.

puts little stuffed hearts in them like at build a bear, which he makes wishes on to wish them a good life.

can bring them to life with his quirk, and gives them all at least one trait to stand out among the rest. this can be as simple as liking a certain hobby or having a quirk of their own to explain a special feature.

many of his plushies have clothing accessories, since he loves fashion and combining his interests.

most of them have normal japanese names, though the ones from his childhood may have sillier ones.

will get very upset if he finds one abandoned, and he restores them into looking brand new if he does find them.

though it is hard for him to part with his creations, he does make plushies to donate to hospitals and orphanages under an assumed name. the public suspects this, however, but he will not say anything as he does not want children sad if they do not get a best jeanist plushie.

How To Get Best Jeanist’s Face On A Magazine

My personal take as to why Best Jeanist never shows his face is not that there’s anything wrong with it, or anything unusual he is trying to hide, he just really struggles with his appearance. He is, however, quite beautiful under there. Also I think it is fun to imagine his sideburns being longer… this is based on nothing I just like it. Based on a photo I found on Pinterest :3

a thing ive noticed from reading mha fanfics is that a lot of people write edgeshot to be extremely serious.

Everyone arguing about the best ship in MHA is WRONG.

The best ship is Edgeshot and Best Jeanist and no I will not be taking criticism nor arguments.

All Best Jeanist fans should be paid ten thousand dollars of emotional damages due to the existence of BNHA Smash

5% of BNHA criticisms: thought out criticisms of plot elements, characterizations, themes, etc that fell flat or were offensive because the author has underlying biases or makes mistakes worthy of pointing out, and what this means for the story at large.

95% of BNHA criticisms: I felt upset when this thing happened and it’s not humanly possible to intentionally write a story containing upsetting elements and this means that Horikoshi is bad at writing.
