@themindofmalha
lilith was created before eve from the same soil as adam to be his wife
she refused to lay beneath him, wishing to be his equal, only willing to have sex with him if she was on his side or on top
adam tried to force her to have sex with him the way he wanted, so she left him and became a demon…
…go off
i mean we could talk about how lilith was a badass who’d rather be a demon than be subservient to a man or we could talk about the allegory here where a woman who demands agency is LITERALLY demonized… or the reality that this story means that the first man in the bible (or the first man ever, if you subscribe to that) was a rapist! great start, boys
If you say veganism isn’t a diet, you are a vegan who…doesn’t even understand veganism.
Like how are you that ignorant? choosing what you eat is a diet. The things you eat is your diet. Veganism is a DIETARY CHOICE. Veganism is a diet, plain and simple.
Like gods, I don’t know who is worse. Vegans who say veganism isn’t a diet or Christians who say Christianity isn’t a religion.
You label yourself as the ‘vegan educator’ but it is you who does not know the definition of veganism. Firstly, a person whom only obtains from eating animal products and nothing more is simply following a plant based diet. They may also label themselves as a ‘strict vegetarian’. Secondly, veganism is not JUST obtaining from consuming animals and their secretions. It is much more than that. It is to live without using and exploiting animals as much as practically possible. The term vegan was coined in 1944 by Donald Watson when he co-founded the Vegan Society in England. Here is the true definition, “The word “veganism” denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude — as far as is possible and practical — all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment.“
So to summarize, eating any animal product - not vegan. Using products that contain animal derived ingredients and/or is tested on animals - not vegan. Going to zoo’s, Sea World, riding elephants and so on - not vegan. Wearing fur, leather or silk - not vegan. Supporting animal breeders - not vegan. I think perhaps you should refrain from tagging your posts with “vegan educator” until you actually understand what veganism is? Because you are clearly uneducated and ignorant in regards to this subject.
GUYS LOOK I HAVE A NEW HARASSER
First off, I’m sick of dealing with shit for the tag I use, so I will say the story once more: A follower needed something to block these posts. I couldn’t use something like drama or vegan cause that blocks EVERYTHING with that word ANYWHERE. So I needed to be creative. But I couldn’t think of anything. So I asked my friend and his least offesnive suggestion was “vegan educator” so I went with it. It was a JOKE. Now it’s just a tag that I’ve used so long to allow people to block these posts on my dash I’m not going to change it.
And I know plenty about veganism.
So you don’t care about animals basically. Zoos are important. You clearly don’t know two facts about conservation if you think zoos are as bad as riding elephants. Riding elephants is bad. Zoos are not.
Basically you don’t know shit.
There’s nothing wrong with responsible animal breeders.
There’s nothing wrong with fur cause fur farm animals are treated better than meat farm animals.
You don’t get to tell me what to tag my posts as. Thanks for proving once more that vegans have no life by actively going through my blog to find stuff to reblog.
You’re the ignorant one. You don’t know the first thing about conservation.
I’m not the uneducated one here.
So how about you get your head out of your ass, walk out that door and go bye bye cause I don’t want to deal with your special brand of ignorance and stupidity.
fucknovegans
A new “harrasser”? You reblogged one of my posts first and also use the vegan tag. You are also throwing a tantrum and attacking people who respond to your posts about veganism that are tagged ‘vegan’. Of course you are going to get responses from vegans. Especially when you make very ignorant posts about how veganism is a diet or ignorant assumptions like veganism is expensive. “Thanks for proving once more that vegans have no life by actively going through my blog to find stuff to reblog.“ You literally tag all of your posts with tags that vegans actively use, and you dedicate the majority of your blog to being anti-vegan. And I find it quite hilarious that you had to tag ‘fucknovegans’ on this post, a blog that harasses vegans and actively trolls the vegan tag. Of course vegans are going to respond to you, and that is clearly what you want. So here you go… I’m vegan, I clearly care about animals. “Riding elephants is bad. Zoos are not.” Okay, let’s talk about Edmonton zoo. As I’m sure you would know, animals can not thrive in small enclosures (especially when they are in unnatural climates). Elephants walk up to 30 miles in just one day. But for Lucy, the captive elephant at Edmonton, this is not possible. During the winter months and when the zoo is closed, she is locked in a barn, meaning she spends the majority of her time indoors with hardly any room to move. The constant confinement has caused her to develop arthritis. Captive animals like Lucy are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them and so as a result of this they become extremely bored and lonely and often suffer from a condition called “zoochosis”. This condition is so common within zoo’s that some are known to give the animals mind altering drugs such as Prozac in order to hide this behaviour from the public. Some animals are so unhappy that they risk their lives in desperate escape attempts. Captive animals also do not get to choose their mates and are often artificially inseminated in order for their babies to be sold or traded to other zoo’s. This also often results in miscarriages, death at birth or the mother rejecting her young. Inbreeding is also a problem among captive populations. Most animals housed in zoos are not endangered, nor are they being prepared for release into natural habitats. In fact, it is nearly impossible to release captive-bred animals into the wild. About 2% of the worlds endangered or threatened species are registered in breeding programs and around 1,200 zoo’s out of over 10,000 are registered for captive breeding and wildlife conservation. It is said that those species who are endangered may have their plight made worse by the zoos’ focus on crowd appeal. George Schaller, the scientific director of the Bronx Zoo has said that zoos are actually contributing to the near-extinction of giant pandas by constantly shuttling the animals from one zoo to another for display. Animals do not exist for our entertainment. These zoo’s exist all over the world. They are cruel and always put profit before the animals wellbeing. They need to be boycotted. To save endangered species we need to save their habitats and combat the reasons why people are killing them, not breed a few species in captivity. Let’s talk about hunting and conservation real quick seeing as you brought it up on my post. Hunting is told to help with conservation and population control, but in fact hunting causes overpopulation of animals such as deer, many hunters preferred victim. It destroys animal families and also leads to ecological disruption and also askew population dynamics. As state wildlife agencies are mainly funded by hunters, such programs are in place to manipulate the habitat and artificially boost “game” populations whilst also ignoring the “non-game” animals. Such programs lead to overpopulations and unbalanced ecosystems by favouring things such as “buck only” hunts, pen-raising birds as living targets, transporting species to other states to boost populations so hunting can still occur and also killing predators to increase prey animals to hunt. This is then used as a justification to hunt to control populations. Here is another post I wrote regarding hunting that I’m sure you would love to read. Whilst we are on the subjects of veganism, human destruction and animal extinction let’s talk about the consequences of eating animals and their bodily fluids. A June 2010 report by the United Nations identified animal agriculture and food consumption as one of the most significant drivers of environmental pressures and climate change, stating that a substantial reduction of impacts would only be possible with a worldwide diet change away from animal products. Raising animals for food generates more greenhouse gas emissions than all the cars, trucks, trains, ships, and planes in the world combined and over 50% of global human-caused greenhouse gases can be attributed to livestock and their by-products.The production of one calorie of animal protein requires more than ten times the fossil fuel input as a calorie of plant protein. It takes more than 2,400 gallons of water to produce 1 pound of meat and only 25 gallons to produce one pound of wheat. It takes over 4,000 gallons of water to produce a days worth of food for a meat eater as opposed to a vegan whom uses around 300 gallons. Animals raised for food produce approximately 130 times as much excrement as the entire human population, animal farms pollute our waterways more than all other industrial sources combined. Run-offs of animal waste, pesticides, chemicals, fertilizers, hormones and antibiotics are contributing to dead zones in coastal areas, degradation of coral reef and health problems. Raising animals for food (including land used for grazing and land used to grow feed crops) now uses a staggering 30% of the Earth’s land mass and seven football fields’ worth of land is bulldozed every minute to create more room for farmed animals and the crops that feed them. I can go in to much more detail but you get the idea. How do you expect to stop the extinction of animals when we are constantly destroying the habitats they live in? “There’s nothing wrong with responsible animal breeders.“ WRONG. Here is why, breeding animals = killing animals. How? For every animal born and purchased from a breeder or pet store, it takes the spot in a home that could have been filled by a dog or cat stuck in a rescue shelter. Because of breeders, rescue shelters are becoming incredibly overpopulated which of course results in a ridiculous amount of animals being put to death, many of which are young, healthy and completely adoptable. Inbreeding is also a huge problem that results in so much suffering. It leads to many genetic disorders, for example deafness is common with Dalmatians and heart disease is a big problem among Boxers. Such selective, appearance-oriented breeding has led to a plethora of problems for animals. Not all desirable traits for breeders can be passed on genetically, which results in cruel practices like tail docking and ear cropping. Health and wellbeing is essentially a non issue for breeders as their main concern is how much money they can make through breeding and exploiting animals. “There’s nothing wrong with fur cause fur farm animals are treated better than meat farm animals.“ WRONG, again. Both are as bad as each other and both are completely unnecessary. About 85% of the fur industry’s skins come from animals held captive on fur factory farms. Farming practices are very similar all around the globe. The animals are kept in small wire cages their entire life, and to cut costs many animals are packed in to said cages. This means that the animals do not get to to anything that is natural and important to them, which often results in animals going insane, self-mutilation and also cannibalizing their cage mates. The cages are often kept in dark dirty sheds that are not cleaned. Because of this, the ammonia that accumulates from the animals secretions burns their eyes and lungs. Or sometimes they are kept outdoors, meaning they are not sheltered from the weather and have to endure the freezing cold, rain and scorching heat. It’s also no surprise that in these conditions parasites and disease run wild, making the already miserable lives of these animals even more unbearable. Killing methods on fur farms are gruesome, to say the least. The animals are forced to endure extreme suffering when being killed and having their fur taken from them. They have clamps attached to or rods forced into their mouths and anuses, and they are painfully electrocuted, or are poisoned with strychnine (this suffocates them by paralyzing their muscles with painful, rigid cramps) or have their necks snapped. It is also known that many animals are conscious when being skinned. And lastly, you are constantly spreading false information regarding vegan food and it being expensive. So here are a few links showing you that vegan food can indeed be quite inexpensive (and delicious)! - The Cheap Vegan Pantry - Plant Based on a Budget - Vegan on $2 a day - Vegan on $5 a day - Vegan on $15 a week - Vegan on a Budget: Tips for Creating Delicious and Affordable Meals - 6 Tips to Eat Vegan on a Budget - Eating a Healthy Vegan Diet for Less Than $5 a Day - Eating Vegan on $21 a Week (The Food Stamp Budget) I’d also like to mention that 4 billion people on this planet live on an almost exclusively vegan diet due to poverty and that when meat consumption goes down, so will the price of produce.
I do know shit, I am not ignorant nor am I uneducated. So let me know if you want to know anything else regarding all of these topics. You don’t know plenty about veganism, like I said, you didn’t even know the meaning of it. But it’s so cute that you’re trying.
Let me clarify: I am not a vegan because I “love animals”. Rather, veganism is about justice. It is not a “lifestyle choice”. It is not a “personal preference”. Veganism is not about you or me at all. It is about the fundamental right of nonhumans not to be used, owned, labeled, branded, enslaved, exploited and generally commodified to serve our interests and convenience.

Why Vote Bernie?
–Bernie is the only presidential candidate that has never voted against LGBTQ+ rights & has always voted for same-sex marriage legalization
– He is pro-choice “ we are not returning to the days of back room abortions, when countless women died or were maimed. The decision about abortion must remain a decision for the woman, her family, & physician to make, not the government.” -Senator Bernie Sanders
– Pro-Gun control , he agrees that people should have the right to bare arms in the case of self defense or hunting but nobody needs a bazooka to go hunting. he is for strict limitations on the purchasing of guns & getting a gun license.
– Free health care to everyone. though this wont be a big deal for people with higher wages, the majority of americas is lower middle class & by cutting down a monthly bill can help alot
– raising minimum wage to a living wage $15 , anyone with kids or in general should be able to see their families & friends instead of working 2 jobs to barely live
– by raising minimum wage we will be lowering poverty rates in america , & we do happen to have the highest poverty rates.
– Free or almost free education in all public schools, plans to substantially lower student loan payments for everyone & plans to make all public colleges free , giving everyone the right to education that they are able to obtain
– free or very cheap access to internet for everyone, for research , school , etc. without hidden rates etc.
– gender equality in the workplace, consisting of equal wages & making it illegal to deny someone work for their gender identity or sexual orientation.
– for the legalization of marijuana for medical & recreational usages , & adding taxes to it. letting everyone in jail for marijuana related charges out.

A handwritten note, scrawled in Arabic on a torn cigarette pack, was discovered on the ground last week in Pozzallo as migrants filed off a ship. It was from someone initialed “A” to someone else initialed “R.”
“I wanted to be with you,” read the note. “Don’t you dare forget me. I love you very much. My wish is for you not to forget me. Be well my love. A loves R. I love you.”
