Christianity is an umbrella term for many religions, including Catholicism, Quakerism, Lutheranism, Episcopalianism, Presbyterianism, Greek Orthodox, and more. It is not a single religion, regardless of your battle plan to make it one.
We're wise to your attempts to do this:

Wake up! It's not gonna go your way.
Do not lie! Do not help the Clintons lie.
This is not "meritocracy"; there's no such thing. This is straight-up Southern Baptist prosperity gospel, the Word Faith cult.
There's a direct line from the Clinton years to this, the Southern Baptist battle plan to deny every other Christian denomination our religious rights:
OMG, these people think they can say anything they want about the teachings of Jesus.
It isn't just "forgiveness" because you want to trumpet your holiness. There are conditions. From Jesus. In the Bible.
"Unless you repent".
"There is forgiveness of sins for all you repent".
I don't care if you've been going to church since you were knee-high, or whether you're an agnostic reporter from a big-city newspaper. You don't get to make it up as you go along.

There are more examples in the article of this kind of un-Catholicism, but why belabor the point?
Barron and Vance need to confess: They are not Catholics, but Southern Baptists who revere Sts. Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, as do an astonishing number of Southern Baptists.
Augustine and Aquinas are quoted constantly in Southern Baptist social media, to the exclusion of any other saints. Clearly, this shapes, defines, and restricts Southern Baptist theology, including that of Barron and Vance.
Their theology is further defined as Southern Baptist by the heartless exclusion of women, the poor, the oppressed, and other marginalized groups, yet they continue to shelter under the protection of Catholicism, and the public perception of it as compassionate and all-embracing.
The truth is their catholicism (lower case c mine) is nothing more than cosplay.
It's time that Robert Barron and JD Vance told the truth about their religious affiliation.
Nobody is looking for spiritual guidance from political hacks.
JD Vance, shut up and govern.

Or, do something really Christlike: Get out there and improve the lives of people whose disabilities keep them from taking action.
Help them move to a new place. Take them grocery shopping once a week. Drive them to their medical appointments. Buy them a haircut or a hamburger and fries.

Christianity is, inarguably, the religious practice of following Christ.
Pictured above is a Bible. The Bible contains all the teachings of Christ. If you are to follow Christ, you must have a thorough grounding in His teachings.
Therefore, if you are not well versed with what is in the Bible, it is impossible for you to be a Christian -- full stop.
If you are biblically illiterate, you are not a Christian.
That's it. There isn't anything else.
