And this one.
I'm sorry; that was so cool I have to share this song, taken from John 4.
Well, this. 👀
Brilliant exegesis.
It's a sad day when the once-mighty Washington Post doesn't have enough pull to get a Vatican spokesperson to address these questions.
Amid renewed tensions between the Vatican and traditionalist Catholics over the teachings of the Second Vatican Council, Pope Leo XIV defend
What God Himself says about tradition:
If your traditions are getting in the way of justice and righteousness, you're doing it wrong.

So, AI isn't going to produce new converts for you.
Boo frickin' hoo.
Maybe you could try being a living example of your faith.
And maybe, you could take a look at the quality of Catholic converts AI is producing (Looksmaxxers and White nationalists, primarily), and decide that all your whining about it isn't worth the trouble.
The problem is the biblical illiteracy of all concerned. With the new influx of self-styled Catholicism the US, we see an open and proud contempt for the Bible, and a complete and unquestioning adherence to the teachings of (once again, self-styled) Catholic thinkers.
Nowhere is this more strongly exemplified than in the public statements of Vice President, JD Vance. Similarly, in this article, we see it in the bumbling search of a former Catholic who had been told by equally bumbling and biblically illiterate clergy that the Pope shares equal divinity with God.
On the Pentecostal side, we see congregants and clergy alike sampling prosperity gospel the way a dieter samples chocolate -- secretly and shamefully -- albeit a little more arrogant about their chances of success.
The secret none of these people have learned is to know the Word better than you know anything else. That process should start with clergy, but congregants shouldn't wait.
Speaking of which, I wonder if the Pentecostals profiled here know this verse:
“Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are.”
— Augustine of Hippo
She is correct, but one thing is missing: You can't expect emotionally mature, rich, fulsome technology from emotionally stunted people.
We should demand psych assessments of those who seek to foist this technology off on us. The technology can only be as human as its makers.
Speaking of which, remember the shots they fired in San Francisco to signal the start of the AI revolution?
When your psycho, religious-nut parents refuse to let you see the school's ancient, animated film on menstruation.
Amazing what happens when you read the version that's actin the Bible.
More amazing what happens when you don't:
"Flirting with authoritarianism is, in a sense, part of the Catholic tradition — the part that far-right radical traditionalists want to rec
OK, cute; but what action are you calling for here? What, in your view, are the practical solutions to this moral quagmire?
Unless you present concrete steps out of this mess, you're just opining to hear yourself opine.
Anti-war, anti-ICE, anti-authoritarian Christians and Catholics are organizing around their faith in opposition to the version claimed by Tr
Oh, hey, Guardian! Regardless of the lies your Southern Baptist stakeholders keep trying to peddle, it's "Protestant and Catholic", not "Christian and Catholic ".
Catholicism is not only a Christian denomination; it is the largest one.
Perhaps if you spent less money on pundits, and more on copy editors, you might salvage your tattered reputation.
On Tuesday, the president read from the Bible in a taped message. Religious scholars were not impressed
That's Second Chronicles 7:14 for those who aren't afraid of being converted to Trump's wildly-secular christianity just by being exposed to a chapter and verse. There's a name for the people at The Guardian, and it's roughly similar to the, ah, epithet that Jesus applied to Herod in Luke 13:32.
Anyway, 2 Chron. 7:14 verse so ill-used it should be filing criminal charges.
"If my people which are called by my name . . . . "? God's name is not The United States of America. It is Elohim, from which "Israel" takes its name in part.
Second Chronicles 7:14 was addressed to the people of Israel then, as it is now.
Unless you have submitted yourselves to the adoption process described by the Apostle Paul in Romans 8 (Yes, the whole thing), stay out of this discussion, secular christians.
