Back in Syndey after tripping 1,634 miles. Surfed Burleigh, Byron Bay, Snapper Rocks, and a few more I can't name, ate wonderful food, visited my childhood's heroes zoo, and met tons of cool people from all walks of life. It was a rather emotional visit to #australiazoo today. Growing up, some of my earliest memories are watching The Crocodile Hunter with Mom constantly. It was through Steve Irwin that I was introduced to a world far bigger, wilder, and more beautiful than the small one I knew. I learned how important it was to help protect that which you love, one being the planet and all its animals. I always dreamed of going to visit Australia Zoo and watching Steve with the crocodiles. Unfortunately I was unable to make it before his tragic passing however it was amazing to see his legacy not only live on, but grow so much.
