There have been several counts of people being robbed at gunpoint at Poke'stops already. The robbers have been using the Lure Module items to attrack other players to the Poke'stops in more secluded and “ out of the way ” areas

Be safe fellow trainers and stay away from Modules in low populated areas, and never Poke'venture alone !!

The robbery was real. Make sure that when you go out to catch Pokemon, try to be with a small group of people you trust. Don’t let people like that ruin the Pokemon experience for us. BE SAFE.

Always be safe and aware, especially at night (especially ESPECIALLY if you are a kid), and remember; Ash always travels with at least two friends. Use the buddy-system. If you can’t be with a group, for whatever reason, just be smart about where you go and let people know where you are going

real talk yeah please be careful out there. if you’re going around at night make sure you stay in well-lit areas regardless of if you’re in a group or not.

if someone has a car, please please please opt to drive around instead of walking!! you can hit a LOT more pokestops that way and if there ARE shady people you can literally just nab it and drive off.

be aware of any fire / police stations as well and go to them for help if you’re being followed or feel like you’re in danger!!
