The real frustration with this song is wanting to sing along but not having a clue what the fuck you're saying. What was wrong with Sammy's tief? Why did it mek dem kill him? These are the real questions we should be asking.
REISS- "True To Form"
Reiss' "True to Form" feature is looking good. Achingly elegant, a series of ultra-sharp models conquer their urban environment in attire with striking names such as the "Emperor Coat " and "Napoleon Suit". In one shot, a "Kanye" coat sets the street ablaze with style, whilst in another an "Alpha Jacket" is tastefully paired with "Marx Boots", whose strong outline is presumably only matched by the strength of their political views. The tagline to this photo cries: "Mirror the contemporary architecture of the city you live in". Since I live in Oxford, should I therefore be seeking out clothes in some sort of "pretentious beige" colour?

But did you know thatĀ before they were coolĀ (sigh) The Who, working under the name The High Numbers released āZoot Suitā, a re-imagining (read: direct steal) of the Dynamicsā legendary record āMiseryā. Whilst the guitar solo was pretty spectacular the words wereā¦ Something else. Today we love to slate Bieber and Rebecca Black (rightly so) for their less-than-lyrical-lyrics, but even they would be hard-pressed to come up with something as wonderfully contrived as āIām the hippiest number in town and Iāll tell you whyā. With a first line like that Iād rather you kept any further musings to yourselfā¦ Cringy Brits aside, this is an absolute dance classic and one of my all time faves.
