you ever think about london tipton, a hotel heiress that grew up without a mother and had an absent father, was taken under the wing of marion moseby, a hotel manager at one of her father’s hotels, and practically raised by him

it started out as just a job when mr. tipton told mr. moseby he was responsible for london, but it became much more than that

he taught her how to drive, gave her advice over her first love/heartbreak, attended one of her stage performances when her father was to busy to come, was there through every hardship she faced, stood up for her when no one else would, tended to her every need, and did whatever was necessary to keep her happy but safe

he became the real father figure in her life and london made sure to let him know how much she appreciated him when she said, “thank you for taking care of me all these years” in the graduation finale

godddddd i love how its nice to have a friend is literally just made up of simple acts of kindness/friendship. the simplest things. ‘wanna hang out’, lost my gloves you give me one, playing video games, walking home together, 20 questions, touching hands, sharing stressful moments, like.. THE SIMPLEST everyday things can turn out to mean the entire world to you. they get married, have each others backs everyday no matter what, stay in bed, the whole weekend. 

this song captures the very essence of most relationships, it’s not glamorous and dramatic like what we see in movies, TV… social media. it’s literally just… a compilation of small sweet moments, shared with someone who’s a friend and a lover in one.

 and it’s nice. it’s simple and it’s comfortable.
